I'm Trying Out Derwent Chromaflow For The First Time And I'm Loving It!

Faber Castell Polychromos are on sale right now at Jacksons. They're soft and lightfast, which is super important for me. Prismacolor are not great on lightfastness unfortunately. Derwent drawing is quite a lovely pencil too. The colours you've bought are gorgeous Gemma x Nell.

I have a small set and for they are all right, the def do blend nicely but I will stick with my polychromos or I might try the Derwent lightfast pencils if I ever get the cash lol

The lightfast pencils are very nice, I bought some open stock and will add to them over time. They're pricey though!

Bought a set of 72 at Christmas also bought a set of 100Inktense, lightfast pencils didn't get much change from a thousand dollars.

The original prices of these as open stock were not far off the lightfast at £2.10 pp, so I wouldn't agree that these are student grade at all.

Pencils are often over inflated in price when they're first released, it takes a while for them to settle down to their actual true value. £2.10 pp for these pencils is insane!
