Got mine the other day. Until you mentioned it I didn't realise they numbered their box editions, so I went and checked and yeah my boxsets are all numbered. Nice!
I love this movie, and the soundtrack is great. It's better as Jamie Hewlett's comic book, but it looks and moves really well. As a Gen Xer, I don't understand what you mean about 90's humor. Some of the great comedies came out in the 90's like CLUELESS, SINGLES, GO, JERRY MAGUIRE, 10 THINGS I HATE ABOUT YOU, DICK....
I think it’s just a more obscure humour, or just the mindset of the humour. Not as 90’s as the films you mentioned but there’s just something about it (probably just Petty’s delivery).
