1:45 on ultra with all HUD off has got to be one of the best reasons to play sims. Night and rain driving...just awesome.
I think I need glasses... I did not see a tremendous difference between Ultra and Low, except for Ultra has smoke, haze, and spray...

Phantom Driver Run this video in 1440p full screen, re watch it. If you really don't see any difference you need glasses. Textures, AA, rain effects, sun ray effects, come on really you can't tell difference?

The song is called "Spa 24hr" by Stephen Baysted. Its reworked for Project Cars.
With minimum PC spec required, I can still get a good performance with everything low/off except car detail: High, Shadow: Med, texture: Med, Global specular irradience: On and AA: DS2X.
I can say on low your driving skills need work.

In my opinion, ultra for some reason looks better than low. Maybe its because they add more metallic looking colors in low? Idk but in 4:37 the rain looks better in ultra.
Omg this track in P.Cars is a remix of "Spa 24h" from GTR2. Just realized it.
You can clearly see a vast difference, especially in the rain.
I noticed that the detail settings did not include ambient occlusion and it looks as though it is turned on, even in low settings. I could be wrong, though.
I think that a system that runs low settings would not be able to handle ambient occlusion.
If what I say is true, then the low/high settings would show a greater difference, visually.
Klar, es sieht wunderbar aus mir fällt spontan kein Spiel derzeit ein, dass mich grafisch mehr überzeugt, aber die Physik ist bis jetzt nicht allzu toll, hoffentlich wird daran noch gearbeitet. Schöner Vergleich wie immer, weiter so! Adrian.

Driveclub? Denkst du ich hol mir ne Ps4 nur wegen Driveclub? So toll ist das Spiel auch nicht und als PC Gamer fallen mir spontan zu viele Nachteile einer Konsole ein :D

People call P CARS a simcade haha. Look at Failrace's comparison to iRacing.
This game is a simulator, but with settings that let you play an Arcade game if you want. On PC expect only sim racers but on consoles you can expect quite a few people playing with the arcade settings online.

Der Regen sieht ja schon echt heftig aus... was weniger realistisch ist, dass da jede Rennleitung das Rennen absagen würde.^^

Low settings are still great! So much better than a lot "new" racing games.
2:56 Bei der Sonne musste ich wirklich lachen. Da sehen ja einige Minecraft Texture Packs besser aus. xD
Awsome stuff..... in my mind low graphics setting looks very well too and is very performant on low level computers!
My pc requirements are 8gb ram,core i5 6th gen,4gb dedicated graphics. Can i play this game in ultra graphics?
The big difference I've seen is that those who played in the Low was professional and who played in the Ultra was an amateur!
To be fair even on low the graphics are fantastic, If thats all my computer could do I'd be more than happy playing this game. At the minute I'm running it about Medium @ 50 fps or high @ 30fps on 900P thanks to a out dated processor.

the only difference was the chrome on the car reflecting off of building and u can see the buildings on the chrome

The cars look good in this game but the environments fail to impress me after playing Driveclub... Also the weather effects look better in DC and the physics look goofy and unnatural in Project Cars, hopefully the delay can fix those physics... I doubt the environment will improve much the terrain and trees look very flat
Drive Club doesn't look better, it just has 200% Reflections for the love of god...
I have to admit that in bright light this game is not that good looking (I'm senior member), but my God, in low light environments and in rain it is gorgeus!
And here I sit with a Radeon 6870..... Medium settings for me then... sigh....

Low looks like PS3 version, Ultra looks like enhanced Shift 2
its not low setting if you have it at 1440p. At lower resolutions with your setup it should blow this game out of the park.
lol i guess the XBone version will be more akin to “low” - then again it only costs as much as 1 video card.

i started watching this and thought, yep..... both settings.... both look like GAMES... upping the settings makes a bit of difference, but it still looks like a GAME. people waste their money upgrading their pcs, so their games still look like games.

Cant really compair this to Assetto Corsa in terms of gameplay since Project CARS is an arcade... but in terms of graphics, wow. For the AAA price this game asks, not worth it at all in my opinion. Although the drives in rain look super.

Drive club now fixed looks 10x better than this is the graphic department. This still looks last gen but at 1080p. Cockpit is horrible.

Project Cars is a simulator of racing game like Forza or a arcade racing game like Driveclub?

So... why do so many people think like simulator = good and arcade = bad?
I think all racing games have something in common and even the most realistic racing games have at least 5% arcade elements.

Sowas spielt man ja auch nicht mit Gamepad oder Tastatur ! Wenn du mit einem Wheel fährst, dann sieht das ganze schon wesentlich besser aus.
Ist auch 110%ig mit sämtlichen Fahrhilfen aufgenommen, was ja mit Gamepad durchaus Sinn macht. Aber aufgrund eines Grafikvergleichsvideos würd ich nicht auf das Gameplay schließen. Spiels selber (G25) und das ist ein massiver Unterschied zu den Szenen hier.

Der Regen sieht auf Low schon besser aus als in den meisten Rennspielen, aber auf Ultra...meine Fresse. Und da soll Driveclub schönen Regen haben?
Die Wettereffekte sind hier auch ziemlich gelungen - Hand auf's Herz, DC's Regen sieht trotzdem deutlich besser aus..

Also ich finde das es auch für Low noch recht gut aussieht.
i like it.. even on my older pc it'll look good.. i mean, lowest settings looks decent.. :D

game doesnt look 2015 level. the graphics arent that great. low resolution textures dont attract me personally and they are low even on ultra.
ylvin pena In 4K? If you answer yes I'm not sure you know what resolution is. Ultra settings don't necessarily include resolution. You could have the setting on low and set it to 1080p. Technically it's high resolution but they look shit. I've never played the game but I have to say it looks amazing.

130,00 in my country... The game is really overpriced hun... I don't understand why people say it has GREAT graphics... I desagree... I think the graphics are OK.. But I still looking for that concept of "next generation graphics"... They show pre rendered graphics at E3 and we all believe on them haha, but let me say something.. we are in 2015 and to my mind the game graphics aren't THAT good as some sites say...

überzeugt mich nicht wirklich..als ich es mal angespielt hatte..war es richtig scheiße...Steuerung für den Arsch und die Grafik ist so la la.Konnte es mit 780ti auf 4k ohne Probs zocken..war irgend was mit Build 850..Jetzt ist es irgend was mit build 900 sieht immer noch bescheiden aus..und angeblich braucht man jetzt 2 980...kann ich mir nicht wirklich vorstellen..
