Driveclub, one of the few amazing racing games of this generation that I regret not getting, its just unbelievable how old the game is, yet it still looks like a brand new game. I wish Sony didnt close down Evolution studios..
Driveclub still being used as the standard ten years after release says it all really i mean honestly one of the best racing games i have ever played....Just imagine what evolution studios could have created for Driveclub 2 for the Ps5.
@@olavofernandes7286 Yes, but based on the videos on RUclips the car doesn't sound exactly like a GTR. I feel like the real sound of the car is somewhere between the one in Driveclub and GT Sport (Driveclub is a bit over the top and GT Sport is too subdued).
While driveclub looks amazing i think gt sport lighting engine surpassed it.Driveclub lighting can look quite flat sometimes and the car models aren't up to par with GT Sport.Driveclub is still unbeatable in the rain
Game studio never got the fkin chance to update the game past the bike expansion and its so disappointing that they didnt get the chance to. *Could of been enhanced for PS4 Pro and now for PS5 but Sony dropped the ball on that...* It is what it is... ugh
That's because Gran Turismo Sport's lighting information was taken at the exact timeframe, and thus prevented it from being able to display dynamic weather and daytime like Drivelcub, different routes.
Not really just knowing that the engine is the v6 twinturbo from the Nissan Gtr you can guess from all of them who is closser to the real one (driveclub,gt sport,pc 3, crew(in this order))
One thing project cars has always got right are the engine sounds ! Give me project cars 2 physics and sounds and GT Sport visuals and to me there would be no need for another racing game !
I actually agree with that. People complained a lot about pc3 but sound design is amazing in this game. Engine sounds are really and I mean really spot on.
@@LePixelRacer Driveclub is always more on the "cinematic" effect side, that was what Evolution inteded to do when developing it, so there are always a lot of mix with surroundings, it might not be that correct but the pitch is absolutely right, just different taste here. GTS is a huge step up but still got a bit to work on both aspects.

The only things that date it are resolution and frame rate, both of which could be theoretically patched with no change to the game engine.

It's incredible how DriveClub is almost 10 years old, and still gives recent titles "a run for their money".

Comparing the sound to the videos of this car in real life, I'd Driveclub is the closest to the real thing.
No gran turismo sport is when you are listening with headphone you can hear that Nissan gtr r35 engine also the paddle shifter clunk noise
