Although they get the tone right, there's ALWAYS way too much reverb & echo going on which kills the quality of the sounds and makes it sound stupidly unrealistic. If they'd tone down the reverb, i'd say the sounds are pretty good, but at the moment they're not and are WAY WORSE than FM's sounds.

So as a huge Porsche fan it would be really cool. When Turn10 takes the Porsche RSR GTE (2017) and updates it as a Le Mans version. (Screamer) Because in the current configuration we have seen it for a very long time.. Or maybe we'll get the successor to the RSR, the 2019 RSR. Would be cool. But I also just dream of something special.

As for the (991) 911 RSR (not driven) it sounds awful compared to the real life version! There’s a great RUclips video actually which has fantastic audio and shows it at a track (can’t remember which one) like Spa, Le Mans or The Ring… and the car is an absolutely monster, sounding completely unhinged and almost demonic as it resonates, pops, crackles and howls! 😂 If you turn it on a good surround sound system it’s almost tortuous and enchanting at the same time!! That’s the kinda audio us car ppl are after! 😍👌
Huayra R got a better glow up than the rest, it could've been better but still passable. All of them sounds better interior. Hopefully more substantial sound updates if what they said in the blog about the changes on authoring workflow is true. Also Sunset Peninsula next?

We have to tell Turn10 to fix the fxxk evo's rear spoiler fh5 is also the same problem in this ferrari , it's mobile in real life and so is its sound, in addition to giving an update to spa on the zebras, the game has evolved
The integra kinda sounded better before, old sounds reminded me of fh2, but it’s better in some ways I think the old sound was more intake than exhaust
I like it better now, but comparing it with onboard footage, it kinda sounds like a normal recording from a GoPro, not sure how close that comes to reality. There is a lot of distortion. I'd like to know how they improved it, did they re-record it or just change the sound that were already there? Overall I'm just happy that there is finally something done to improve the sound.

NGL, I think they should have placed the Huarya R and SCV12 Essenza sound from FH5 into Motorsport 8, with maybe a couple audio tunes, the FH5 sound files are extremely insane for those 2 specific cars

Are you sure you didn't get the Integra Type R interior before/after backwards? I used to own a couple B16 powered cars and in your video the interior before sounds fairly accurate while the after is FAR too quiet and I can't hear the VTEC engagement. These cars' engines were rather loud in the interior even with OEM parts. If you didn't accidentally switch these sounds then the after sound definitely got worse and less accurate.

Hot take I guess: I think the new audios for the cars sound more accurate in pitch and tone and all that jazz, but I think the old audios at redline sounded more realistic. At redline, the new audios sound more virtual?(for lack of a better term) For example, the old audios all sound fairly realistic when changing gears(revs drop down and is clearly audible), but in the new audio for the integra, the car is damn near silent between gears. Just my opinion. I could also have dog shit hearing🫠

This devs of forza really needs a lesson from codemasters. They nailed it in lots of their games with car sounds. Grid 2 and Dirt rally 2.0 are my favourites.
I can't even tell if the Integra sounds worse or better now. But I can tell you one thing, it still sounds HORRENDOUS and absolutely nothing like the real car.
The Huayra and the Corvette are clearly better, with the Integra I'm not sure. I just don't understand is why they have the gear changing "click" missing that you can hear in Horizon 5 in basically every car. I always feel like they cannot share resources from the sister game even though its the same franchise. Like there are several features missing that were already available at launch in 2021 in Horizon 5. Just like when Horizon 4 released it also got the "spoiler shake" which was a feature of Motorsport 7. I still prefer that game and least they don't force TAA on you there.

We had the same problem back in 2005 with Gran Turismo 4 vs games like Need for speed Most Wanted. For games that market themselves as "simulators" they really have a hard time getting one of the most immersive parts of driving these cars down lol
