that part where one of your crew's free falling n watching the 17 slowly disappear reminds me of Memphis belle (1989 version ;-) ) when the 109 chops the b17s tail off n the radio operators talking to the poor sods in the stricken bomber disappearing into the cloud.......

Sehr gut gemachtes Video. Bin sonst eher der Springer und Vorspuler zu den spannenden Stellen. 25 Min voller Spannung. Kameraführung noch etwas länger auf die runter gehenden Bomber und es wäre perfekt.

Yes, I have a video series called "To Hell and Back" in which I or we do exactly that. I also have a playlist called "Bombing missions" with all full bomber missions I did, from all nations.

The AI mod looks incredible. I wish the B-17s were a little more sturdy, I don't think one burst of 20mm rounds should knock them down like that.
Well, it took 20 or so attacks to bring us down. The B-17s in this already are way tankier then the vanilla ones.
@@Fishyyy I wonder what would have happened if the Central Powers had won WW1. My dad was a waist gunner/radioman on a B-17D in the Pacific. I played Il-2 Sturmovic and Rise of Flight(777 Studios) for years.
