I have been diagnosed with FND by Cleveland Clinic. I am not in that area-I am in 47906 and have no neurophyschologist in area. Are you aware of one in this area? Dr. Sullivan is a wonderful resource and I very much appreciate her. Joyce Eikenberry
I had one of those neuropsychologist visits. My cognitive issues bother me. I have more issues then the 6 other people I know well, in my age range. I am 63. But they just said "you passed" and sent me on my way. Very frustrating.
@@icareforyourbrainwithdr.su7103 Yes. They did say I could have an MRI if I wanted. I did. I learned in a message that I had mild chronic idiopathic changes but the message said it had nothing to do with my cognitive issues. I would need an appointment to have that explained to me. Thanks.
Your cognitive issues bother you. You got and an MRI. They told the results are not cognitive related, but to…. Make the appointment so the can explain the results!!!!! If still dissatisfied Request a Neuropsychologist referral. Follow-up if you’re that concerned!!!!
Dear dr Sullivan, I am having sight loss issues and I have seen so many eye doctors/departments. Not one person can tell me what as happened is happening. I have been told I have binocular double vision with retinal rivalry and cataracts. They won’t remove the cataract in the bad eye as they say it will make my life and what I see impossible to live with. So I am to loose sight in that eye, I already can’t see out of it. I have asked if it could be related to the Essential tremors I have, they have all said they don’t think it would affect my eyes. But I have found out that the cerebellum does control the eye movements and the placement of the eyes. So do you think it could be the tremors, have you heard of anybody else with eye problems related to tremors. I am at a loss as to who to turn to next, for any answers. Many thanks for your wonderful videos, I’m a big fan. I live in England Yorkshire xx
my zip code : 84128 . MRI impression : Bilateral Parietal volume loss. 55yr female, symptomatic, RBD, loss of smell. all since 2017. now on Aricept. Can you comment on this straightforward impression of Parietal Lobe? Great Great Channel !!!
Hi Dr Sullivan, I took your advice and got a referral for a neurologist here in Lancaster PA. They called me and asked me questions but in the end told me that they don’t handle tremors etc. I have mild ET (hands & internal tremors) and my hands, feet, toes all cramp up on (get rigid) also. The neurologist I do see has basically dismissed my tremors saying “yes you have mild ETs, see you next year.” 🤬🤷🏼♀️
Dr Sullivan - Thank you so much for all the information you are sharing in your video library. I’m binge watching & taking notes! I would like to know of a neuropsychologist in the Albuquerque NM area. 87108, 87110, 87106, 87102 Particularly if there is someone at the University of New Mexico, that’s where many of my other specialists are. I’m confused - would someone need to see a neurologist first, then be referred to a neuropsychologist? Or vice versa? Or can my primary care dr refer directly to your speciality? Thanks, Elaine
You can be referred by primary care or neurology (or any provider really). Who I would recommended is related to why you'd want to see a neuropsychologist. If you message me on Facebook with your referral question, I can help you find someone. New Mexico is my favorite state!
Awesome - presentation and education for the public. Thank you so very much. Blessings and Love to All
Glad it was helpful, Evalyn!
You are a blessing every time I listen! Thank you!!!
good to see your channel growing

That's not a very good feedback session! Did you see someone who was board certified in neuropsychology?

Ugh, try a neuropsychologist and educate yourself so you can educate them on the non-motor symptoms of ET, they are real!

What’s worrying me now is that I’m forgetting faces not just names, which is typical for the past 4 or 5 years.
What is the best med for adult ADD/Bipolar
You can't get an answer to that on here. Everyone is different. Your doctor will make their best judgment and then adjust and evaluate from there.
I want to be a Neuropsychologist, but I don't know which way is the best pathway for an Asian undergraduate psych student.
I would like to know more about what they call familiar trimmers because it doesn’t seem like any medication to help
