@@AMindFullMom I just brought home a frozen small butterball turkey breast. It's 3lbs. and says it includes dark meat. I wanted to have Thanksgiving in July. I was going to Crock Pot it, ....But, now I'm using my Instant Pot! My food is going to be delicious !!!! Thank you. You saved me a lot of time/work.

Well, I am glad you found my recipe to guide you!
Thanks! Cannot wait
To try it and so happy that I won’t need to get up with the roosters to put the turkey breast in the oven😀 Happy Thanksgiving!
Ha! Yes this is the easy way to do it. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving
I loved this but from watching alot of videos I cooked mine with breast side up & it was fantastic!! Thanks
I am happy to hear you enjoyed! From my experiments, breast side down is slightly moister, but either way is delicious!
@@AMindFullMom I will try my next one the way you suggested, thanks!
Excellent and simple -- thank you. I don't have wine but was thinking of using 1-2 Tbsp of ACV instead.
I would actually recommed using additional stock instead of ACV--that could easily overwhelm the dish.
@@AMindFullMom thanks for your advice
@@malcontent510 of course!
Great info I'm in charge of Turkey because my daughters are vegetarians!
Well, I hope you enjoy very much!
Thanks! I have a pressure cooker but not an Instapot. Can I use this method, please?
Yes, absolutely
I agree .In my instant, turkey breast is the most moist, juicy and tender. Sooo good.
One thing I found is that you can't go by the weight stated on the packaging. For the brand that I bought, the 5.8 lbs on the tag was the full package weight, but by the time I removed the packaging, liquid, and gravy packets the breast itself weighed only 3.8 pounds. If I had just gone by the tag weight, I would have cooked the breast for 1/3 longer than needed. 24 minutes high pressure and 10 minutes slow release in a 6 qt. Instant Pot Ultra brought the 4 lb. breast to the recommended 180 degrees. It appears I'll no longer have to worry about dried-out turkey!
That is great information! Thank you for sharing! I personally have not had that issue, but all brands are different.
🥰🙏
Can I roasted it ? My convection oven doesn't have broil
Hi Patricia! Yes, I would roast at 450 degrees for a couple minutes.
How long do you broil the turkey ?
Hi Vanessa! I broil for about 5 minutes--but every oven is a bit different and will depend on how close your turkey is to the broiler. Just keep an eye on it every couple minutes. Enjoy! And Happy Thanksgiving.
Can you just not use the air crisp/fryer function instead of oven
Frozen or thawed turkey breast?
6 minutes per pound if thawed, 10 minutes per pound if frozen.
What if you don’t have skin on Turkey Breast?
Hi Misty! I would actually consider cooking right in the liquid to keep the turkey super moist (and you aren't worried about soggy skin). I would suggest adding 2 cups of chicken stock to inner pot, adding in the seasoned turkey, and cooking as directed.
my turkey breast is still in the bag like you showed how do i cook that?
Hi Nee. Remove from the bag and then follow the remainder of the steps.
Sounds good but I can’t see the video.😢
Hmm, I am not sure what is going on for you! I can play it just fine.
Working now thanks
I dont have an oven. Cant you just show me how to fully cook it completely in the pressure cooker?
Simply use this recipe without browning. If you want to brown your skin, you can use the saute function on the Instant Pot to saute the turkey breast in a bit of oil.
@@AMindFullMom chicken stock?
I am not sure what you are asking? You would cook as directed. Drain out the Inner pot and saute to brown the skin--keeping in mind it will be a bit difficult to maneuver.

Always better with erbs.
If my turkey breast is only 3.78 lbs ..you mean it will be done in like 24 mins?? Idk
YES! I would round up to 4 pounds and for 6 minutes per pound, you would set the cooking time for 24 minutes. You will need to remember it will take about 15 minutes to come to pressure and 15 minutes for pressure to be released, so plan on close to an hour before eating.
