Played my songs in Gerdes Folk City saw all the Hoy Poy Sunhose Hendrix Grateful Dead Santana . Heard Thirsty Boots as it was put together by Eric Anderson.

Considering that Pail Simon and Art Garfunkel are both 79 years of age (and both will be 80 before year end), we're very lucky to have you two. 🙂 This may not be Paul Simon's best song, but I think it's the most poetic lyrics he ever wrote and I love the Simon and Garfunkel songs that are sung in harmony all the way through, like this and Wednesday Morning, 3 AM.

Fortunately, neither has ever misspelled it "Bleaker Street". It's astonishing to me that the land on which Bleecker Street was originally built was part of the Bleecker family farm until 1808, when Anthony Lispenard Bleecker deeded a strip of land from the farm to the City. Given that Manhattan is pretty.much fully developed up to the George Washington Bridge (except Central Park, of course), I'm surprised there were still farms that recently in what's now the East Village.
