dude, when u taking a picture with a timer on a galaxy, the autofocus wont work STRAIGHT AWAY when u press the shutter button, its mean if u alrdy focus on a distance, then u walk-in on the frame the phone cant recognise u instead of still focusing that distance away, thats why u always have a blurry image on picture of urself, maybe u can ask ur friend to take a picture instead using a timer, the portrait from a galaxy is not that soft like on ur video. hope u understand what i mean
I wish Samsung would put more effort into its baseline models. Those portrait mode shots were not it. It's a good start this year when they upgraded and equalized the selfie camera on all models.
Portrait mode isn’t all that great when you use the timer to take pics of yourself. I’ve been having focusing issues since the s22 line. And even sometimes if I take pics of friends this way with the 3x, it’s not all that sharp either.
I have been using s10 plus, and I feel like the photos are a little more saturated and punchy. But maybe that is partly because of the screen / display? The Iphone camera and video shots look definitely more natural. The only thing is, the price difference between the 2 is a lot :(
I like more natural look. Samsung still got this problem with skin smoothing and that skin tone needs to improved. As an Asian myself, I don't want to look like I just came out of a tanning bed.
My opinion is that you should buy iphone and samsung every year. It seems that the pictures of these phones make you see yourself in the same places, but in different colors.... 😉 Revolutionary for 2023
As far as I can see, Samsung is better than the iPhone in everything except the camera, but the camera on the Samsung is not that far from the camera on the iPhone. Can you give me advice, which of these two phones is better for long-term use? (I use the phone mainly for entertainment)
The s23+ has a much better battery life than the s23 ultra, s23 ultra is maybe 10min-45min more battery life than the iphone 14 pro max, so you can figure it out yourself
When it comes to taking pictures the natural effect versus the deeper color effect on the Samsung is where iPhone beats it but when it comes to taking videos the Samsung is definitely Ahead I actually take videos and just take screenshots from videos instead of taking pictures I don't understand why there's such a difference between taking a picture and a video but the video on the Samsung is Ahead of the video on the iPhone in my opinion
It's not the unit.... it's because he is taking photo's himself using a timer... Better If someone else is taking the photo, so the issue won't happen....
The only thing that iphone does better than the Samsung is the more natural color as far as I'm concerned The Samsung has more details than the iphone Also it not like the Samsung color is over saturated it is something you can do with Samsung takes pictures that you can just easily post without looking twice but the iphone needs editing Which we all still do So you guys talking about the Samsung color like it's a big deal is not ideal
Most of the pictures you see online is edited whether or not it is taken with an iphone or not My point is that why will you complain about the color on the Samsung when you will still edit the colors and a photo editor As for videos, the iphone wins
I only have problem with it being out of focus in portrait mode with 3x. Putting it on a timer isn’t as great as having someone that can tap to focus. Only happens for the Samsung line. Even back with the s22 phones. All the other phones I’ve tested comes out sharp and in focus.
why would you put so many s23's blurred portrait pictures in the comparison if it cannot focus properly in the timer mode. you could have mentioned the problem and then you should have let someone to take picture from both of them to make it fair. after watching this comparison it make us feel like samsung cannot focus at all from the 3 times protrait
I mentioned it a couple of times with my other S23 ultra and even last years s22 line. It’s not a new issue. It’s always been there. And even there were times where I took a picture of my friends, they still end up not as sharp as the other phone. Still kinda disappointing where Samsung is the only phone that has this issue. Even budget phones gets the focus right with the timer.
Whenever i watch this guy's samsung vs iphone camera comparisons idk why but all the time samsung's flagship camera's photo focusing looks like my nokia 3310 phone ? I have s22+ and can say definitely these photos for samsung looks so weird.
Depends on your lifestyle. If you need to write lots of notes and find the pen useful in your life then S23 ultra. And also if you need the 100x/ take plenty of telephoto pictures. If you’re deep into the apple ecosystem then sticking with the iPhone is better. After installing all of your apps, use these phones are majority the same.
@@danielsin i'm using 14 pro max sir... but missing zoom features for sure....recently switched from s22ultra because of it's worst battery backup.... i'm thinking to sell my ip14pm and buy s23u... afraid again how will be the battery of s23u....
Why is every photo from S23+ all blurred. Something's really fishy here! I've watched so many comparison videos of the same phone, but this one's so different & fake.
It’s only when I put it on a timer. It’s always been a issue since I was testing it this way with the S22 line. Mentioned about it tons of times in my past comparisons

They swing back and forth. Just because Samsung-affiliated influencers super hype the S23 line cameras, it does not mean that is the reality. It is clear from this and other reviews that the S23+ would struggle to make the Top 20 best smartphone cameras, and that is before 90% of the 2023 have yet to be released. By October, the S23+ will be outside the Top 30. It is fine, but more is needed for pro users. Even the much bragged about s23u only comes in at no 10 on the DXO Mark charts, so although you are a Samsung superfan, just do not fall for the hype.

Even the S20 doesn't take that kind of blurred portrait shots. What went wrong here?
Im not sure if it’s just a timer thing. But I’ve noticed it starting with the s22 lineup
Why does 3X portrait on the Samsung always out of focus? Is it a problem with your unit or is it problem with all s23 plus?
