Hello video up loader, you are terribly mistaken because even the average height of a full grown Asian elephants are 9 ft and above. Around 100 years back, in Kerala (India), there was an elephant lived. His name is CHENGALLOOR RANGANATHAN. Its height was about 11.6 ft and another one named KANDAMPULLY BALACHANDRAN (11.3ft) and still there lots of elephants in Kerala having 10 feet and above height. And there are so many lived above 10 ft. Also, in Africa, the average height of a full grown elephant is about 11 ft. And African elephants are known to be the tallest of all elephants. Now how come you think that this JUMBO'S height (11.3ft) is beyond imagination. If it is 12 ft or 13 ft we can take into account.

It's interesting, in this day and age, to hear a creature being referred to as "it."
For those who are interested in this story, I recommend checking around the web. Jumbo's life is an engaging story, and there are a number of facts that this video got "almost right." Of course, PT Barnum embellished (and sometimes outright lied about) parts of it - the man was a consummate shyster - but debunking his bunk is part of what makes it an interesting case.
In truth, Jumbo probably wasn't the "biggest elephant in the world" - probably not even in his lifetime. However, he may well have been the largest elephant in captivity at the time; and likely the largest living thing most of his visitors had ever seen. That alone makes him notable - but his overall life is as interesting as the biography of any celebrity.

    * ANÍBAL BARCA of Carthage, marched towards Rome with 37 elephants through the Alps to invade it.

Also in modern reserve environment safari parks elephants have their tusks cut as a protection measure! If not the shitbag poaching natives would kill the animals for the very prized ivory they possess!! If this keeps the animals safe then its the best possible preventative course of action!! Sad that they can't be left alone in the wild to their own device's!! But in reality its the only way to stop them being targets of greedy poachers!. To kill these majestic beast's then using a chainsaw they cut out the tusk from the scull of the poor elephants and leave the rest for the fly's and scavenging animals! Its a horrible awful sight and a all to common one unfortunately! Perhaps in antiquity a tribe that killed a elephant for food and wasted nothing!! Was simply a way of life! And a justified one !but to kill for cash is abhorrent and morally wrong !evil infact!

This was one of the most poorly written informative videos I’ve seen.
African elephants stop growing at 20 years old on average and bulls normally reach 10ft in height. This male or bull (not an “it”) most likely suffered from ptsd, as most calves do when their herd is poached in front of them, and would likely explain part of the aggression. Oh and they’re called tusks, not fangs. Maybe do some research next time...
