      @@timfilipiuk9612 That is the first fight of his I ever saw and I felt the same way. I was pretty new to watching MMA and that shit was awesome! I don't recall seeing that kind of style from him since that fight, but maybe I am misremembering. He is an awesome athlete and I hope he can put together a win streak so we can see more of him.

      @@Recise it might’ve been an adjustment based on the matchup, given that Anders tends to load up his big overhands by leaning heavy on the front foot. Jacoby is his toughest test to date

    This really is an admirable story of success, when you consider where he was as a teenager, and how he progressed so quickly in the sport. And if you consider these factors (determination, grit, perseverance, hard as nails performances, etc.), I feel that this guy has the potential to be in the top 5 of the LHW division. and maybe even challenge for the belt some day.

      @@Bvstianyeah if he would just get a least a good ground game then he wouldn’t have to worry about the td. I noticed that many don’t fight in muy thi style cause it just invites for take downs. The only other fight I can name with a muy thai stance is charles oliveira. He gets away with become his incredible ground game nobody wants to take him down.

    Man Khalil talks like a real man. He carries himself well. Im really impressed w how pure he is. No gangsta mentality or talk. I could back him for champ if he ever makes it.

    I love Khalils unique choice of attacks, such as kicking an opponent in the ribs while he is in turtle guard. To be honest I have no idea why more fighters don't do it. It gives him the advantage of remaining on his feet, opposed to trying to secure the back, which can sometimes be trouble when someone is in turtle guard.

      Most guys are scared to use the soccer kick cus one slight movement by the opponent and you kick a guy in the head and the fight is gonna be done.

    I heard Khalil's death metal band not too long ago from an old friend of his. Crazy to hear from some of the locals out in Vegas say how happy they are of him and wish him the best! We all do!

    I may have been late to Kahlil Rountree's rise, but watching him vs Erik Anders secured me as a huge fan of his fight style, then hearing him on Rogan sealed the deal as a fan of his character. Such a down to earth, humble, dedicated, and interesting dude.

    We need champions like him
    Especially with Glover and Charles being dethroned.
    Guys that are actual great ambassadors for the sport

It was probably the combination of Islam's and Khabib's talk that got to Charles. Charles ain't ever disrespectful. Not from what I've seen. Peep the disrespect to Green. In his face smiling saying "2 rounds maximum". Just downplaying him as an opponent.

    We lived on the same street back in LV. We boxed back in the mid 90's when we were little kids. He was like 6 or 7 , I was like 12... he made my nose bleed. Haha. Good ole memories.
