    Today we are breaking down one of John's biggest hits, Gravity, this tasty chord progression in the key of G is full of passing chords, maj7s and of course that really nice tasty solo at the beginning in the key of G major.
    We will break it down piece by piece, starting with teaching you how to play the chords on the ukulele, after how to play the verse, chorus and than lastly the solo with full on screen Ukulele tabs.
    If you want tabs that you can print out and following in front of you for this, and every single lesson that we have done all you have to do is become a Patreon.
    It starts at just one dollar a creation with caps as low as a dollar a month and bonuses to people who decide to give more. It really has everything that you need to play Ukulele the way you want to play Ukulele, whether that is in the same as John Mayer with nice solos and fills, fingerpicking style, chord melody or percussive like James Hill, everything you need to be a better Ukulele player.

    You should play the whole song after the tutorial though, for the viewers to have an idea how to play it exactly

    That whole bending the strings doesn't sound right. I have real bad OCD when trying to play certain songs because I want it to sound perfect or more closely. I was messing around with it and found it a lot better to play:
    A
    E 3 3 5/7 5/7 3 3 5/7 7/5 5 5 0 7
    C 2/4 2/4
    G

      If you bend in pitch it does ruclips.net/video/D5HtSwYURqo/видео.html having said that bending in pitch on Ukulele is very very difficult, especially on a soprano and if you can't the best alternative is sliding like you did.

    Can you do Something Like Olivia by John Mayer?

  • @willallegro8935
    @willallegro8935 5 лет назад

    i think you’re counting in triplets, not sixteenths, bc you’re saying “one-e-and-2”(and so on). so each quarter note is subdivided into three, not 4

    Pretty sure this song is in 6/8

    • @TenThumbsProductions
      @TenThumbsProductions  4 года назад

      Kyle Bailey it is, i thought 4/4 would be easier to for people to learn but I should have just done it in 6/8.
