Whenever I listen to these guys I always get the feeling that whatever room he’s in , Steven Wilson is the smartest guy in it. This song completely rocks. Great song choice Mark. Great reaction Dave. Thanks guys. ( I also like candy.)
Great reaction, Dave! This is from their most recent DVD release and they've also released the video of 'Harridan', which is track #1 off of their recent album. Stellar drumming there, too. Thanks!
This version of the song sounds 'dry' but I had fun watching this. Thanks! The best Gavin Harisson (with PT) is Cheating the Polygraph live in Tilburg. Imho. Oh and the guy on the keyboards is Richard Barbieri, who was also in the very influential band Japan.
How have I missed this!?! Again?!! Well, thank you for another great reaction. Again. :D This songe came out in 2007 - "XBox is a God to me".. Oh man, if he only could have seen the "smart"phone zombies we have nowdays... Still, scaringly accurate song.
Wow. I've never knowingly heard Porcupine Tree. That's some great stuff. I don't find Dave adversarial at all. Hell, I could listen to him react to a vacuum cleaner. 🙂
The fun thing is that Steven made Gavin audition to get the gig back in the day because he wasnt a fan of his earlier bands like Level 42. After about two songs Steven apologized for wasting Gavins time and Gavin got the gig.
Great reaction! Thanks to Dave for checking it out. This one popped up in my feed. The drums were really forward in the mix in this one and I thought Dave would dig the sound. I really dig Porcupine Tree and their recent Album, Deadwing is really strong too. Very consistently great band.
Hahaha I never noticed Steve roasting Richard with the line "they sound like Japan"

Great performance… personally my favorite Porcupine Tree album and favorite track 😅

The Tubes, another great band with great musicianship. Prairie Prince is one of the greatest drummer ever and they're still playing live. 👌
