13 years and 11 main entries means there’s a whole lot of stabbing and sneaking to catch up on when it comes to the Assassin’s Creed franchise. There’s definitely not enough time left to play everything before Valhalla arrives so here’s the history of Assassin’s Creed in starts watch eight minutes.
"Arno is sad"
That's it, that's the entire story of Unity in one sentence.
Yep
And also such a Mary Sue character
I have no idea what's going on - I just like to climb stuff n kill bad guys
Haahahahaah nice 1 dude me too!
Your comment just made me laughing so much
My 10 year old daughter saw me playing AC Syndicate a couple of weeks ago and your comment perfectly describes her outlook on the game. Yesterday she declared that assassin's creed is "everything I could want in a game."
hahahahahahahaha
Me right there 😂
I like that it has a narrative- you’re not just dropped in a field of grass and kill everyone, you have a purpose and fight for greater good and/or revenge, it has a narrative and a realistic setting
i have been playing this game for god knows how long and i still dont understand crap
You need to be immersed to understand, and judging by your pfp and name you are a fortnite kid so I don't think you are capable of understanding.
@@valtontony826 bro I haven't played fortnite in like 7 months I just can't get round to changing my name and pfp
@@valtontony826 geez relax man. Why so aggressive?
@@valtontony826 i have indeed been playing these games for years and have no idea whats going on, for someone reason my memory fails to remember anything that happens outside of the animus because my brain mentality checks out whenever you pop out. Except for the wassa matta you altair scene that was gold.
Aaaaaand im more confused than i was before😁
Isu ain’t alien and assassin are losing.
Because half of what they said is incorrect.
Ishpreet Singh bro adewale died of old age in assassins creed 3
Was just about to post the same thing and saw your comment. Glad it's not just me lol
@@CloroxBleach-qy7vy there is a literal mission in rogue where you assassinate adewalé
I'm convinced that this series is just Kingdom Hearts for adult men and history buffs
Dude assassins creed gave me my love for history and philosophy
Will you be my friend
Sora will be in there when they eventually buy every publisher
Stop
@@iceexpent8517 go
They should make a game around the Adam and Eve timeline
@ISitOn MyArm hahahahah
I think Layla and The Reader (Desmond) are new reincarnation of Adam and Evie
They probably will do it but in some dlc
In which you have to run naked straight for 25 hours
Blasphemy! Jk but it will most likely be banned in my country, just like some other games that delve a bit too deep into religion/history
RUclips every sec: The complete history of assassin's creed...
Yep, and I hope that will continue for many years cuz i'm liking the history classes
Uhhh, so much information, I'll get back into the animus and continue to just enjoy Egypt in Origins without bothering about the back story :)
I remember seeing AC1 on the Gadget show and how it was this unreal game. blew my mind
after playing and delving into the story line of AC 1 - 3* was anyone else pissed off that they just killed desmond so easily? Idk, they just made it feel like he's the true main character and then they just clapped his cheeks in some lame ass sacrifice that didn't even make any sense.
No. The ancestor parts were all I cared about. Desmond could've eaten a bullet minute 1 of the first game and I wouldn't have cared.
Finally a video that doesn't talk enchantment table telling me the damn story ( I hate that desmond died)
I feel exactly the same. The story is way too complicated for me to care anymore. I ll just do what’s required 😅
8 minutes isn't enough.
I got lost after the first BCE 😱
I explain in simple words "war between 2 teams" so player given Assassin's side
Don’t forget the comic books which no one read that finished a whole god damned plotline
Could u tell me more?
SNEAKY STAB + CLIMBING + STYLISH CLOTHES + MEMORIES + ALIENS = Assassins Creed
Brotherhood and Blackflag will always be my favourite!!
I sadly lost interest as soon as I played as Kassandra. Tried unity and finished rogue, but black flag and AC3 will always be fond to me.
Colonial assassin creeds were emotions
Interesting and disapointing to start with false imformation right at the begining.
The Esu are not alien. They're just a precurser race.
Can explain why order of ancients is killing people? For the Esu?
@@sophiawilson8696 Assassins Creed is inspired by the Hashashins - the creed is to wipe out corruption to make sure the Templar’s don’t end the world.
@@MikeyLikey6 can confirm this is correct
I would not be mad if they re-did this in order .
Phew, a wild ride.
Edward’s from Wales, so him sailing home to the UK is right, sailing home to England isn’t. Just a pet peeve from a friendly Welshman. Loved the video all the same ❤️
Although at the time it was part of the kingdom of England…. 🥲
Just like Michael Sheen
@@eleezakaine3028 yup! I live not to far from where he's from!
Cool vid, even if you can't really do a complete history without the books and film. Two things: the Isu aren't aliens, but a lost advanced civilization ie Atlantis, and Ratonhnhaké:ton is pronounced Ra-doon-ha-ge-doon, because 'k's are 'g's in northeastern American languages (the one time he pronounces it with the hard k is because AC3 allegedly had a difficult development, and mistakes were made).
THANK YOU! Isu aren't aliens! 🤦🏻♂️
Never mentiin the film
@@aaron1232006 Still canon I'm afraid, and canon's never been a stamp of quality sadly.
I came to get a bit of understanding and what game should I continue with, instead I got even more confused with the years of 2012 2015 and so on.
Because this video doesnt cover the game stories , game by game, but chronologically in time when the events happen, so in that way the events from game 1 or 2 are shown almost at the end of the video, and that is quite confusing.
Start in the order they were released.
I hate it how every single youtuber tells lore with Kassandra. Heck I played with Alexios (and liked him more than Kass).
Fax
alexios > !!!!
Whoa whoa whoa. The bit after Kassandra dies I have not seen. Wtf is that?
😂😂
Fate of Atlantis DLC
I just jumped on the assassins creed games. Why are there alien people on my stealth game?
I don’t understand how origins explain the start of the brother hood. But Darius is one of the first known assassin...
Late reply, Darius isn't exactly an assassin nor founded the brotherhood, he just known to be the first wielder and user of hidden blade. While origins, well the game explain itself
YALL FORGOT ABOUT ASSASSIN'S CREED VALHALLA
I’m watching this because I need a recap since I just got Valhalla and I didn’t play the other games
Valhalla wasn’t out yet at this point and not much of the lore was known about Valhalla until not that long ago besides the games not the same anymore so it don’t really matter
I supose Valhalla is beetween Origins and Assassin's Creed 1
Been playing this series since it came out, have every ac game, from 13 to 26, 2007 to 2020
The Isu are not aliens they are advanced humanoids
Evie Frye FTW!
2012 and even worse year than 2020 got me😂😂😂
Ac 3, 4, rogue and unity story line was the best as it was all related
nah bruh the ezio trilogy
@@maxnax9356 100%
whoa i don't know that valhalla taking place older than origins
Well no, it doesn't. It takes place right after origins. The oldest game in terms of timeline is Assassin's Creed Odyssey.
The first games captured me so hard (AC1 - Black Flag) but then it all got a little too much for me. Can't keep up with all the details in the story.
Oh hell yeah!
In Assassin's Creed Rogue that is not how the story went down he did not blame the Assassin's the Assassin's were going to the same sites that he went to and he told them what went down what happened and the assassins kept going to the sites and killing people
And he blamed the assassin's
You forgot the history of Pryce, Prince Pryce.
1191 not 1176
I really wish they’d drop this past/future crap and just stick to the game play we love
So why the AC: Movie is not on the list? When it is canon to the game?
Okay, I get the assassin's creed. And I get they started with Xerxes. But what I haven't figured out is why are they assassinating anybody? The creed doesn't really explain that they gotta go and get stabby. Is it simply to keep false higher powers at bay so we aren't enslaved by the Esu?
Because the templars or order of the ancients are after the isu technology for world domination. And the assassins are somewhat protectors of common folk against corruption ect.
Basically, the templars are trying to control/end the world. Assassins are trying to stop that...by assassinating the templars
Seems to be the implication
@@TheB00tyWarrior I see. It would seem their actions were considered by them in their eyes to be the only logical response following the creed. To me, it just explains how ideas are only useful as a guide to energy (Nothing is true), and energy is your right (Everything is permitted). Further interpretations: freedom of self.
I must say I did not expect to get so philosophical about this game!
use this as a killing desmond was a terrible idea button
In which AC’s does the story of the Isu’s and Adam & Eve appear?
I think if you explained the games in order instead of chronicologically in which the events took place took place, people would follow better. Don't talk about the Precursors from Assassin's Creed 2 cuz that's when us, the players first see them. Talk about the Master Assassin, Altair from the game and how you were killed by and brought back to life by your Mentor to prove yourself worthy by killing 9 men who are corrupt war makers, Just to find out your mentor is the leader of your enemies and he has been using the assassins to snuff out his competition. And that's just the first game! The other ones go into way more depth and detail
These people be making video games bout history's unrevealed events so many hidden symbols in the storyline think about it creed logo is a triangle guess who runs a secret society that also has triangle in today's time....
I think ubisoft to relaunch POP as AC replacement
*visible confusion*
A circle revenge I think
Got a little bit annoyed hearing Kassandra does this and that, when in reality, it depends on who you chose to play as in Odyssey, so for me Alexios was the one that Layla met and not Kassandra
Get over it. Kassandra is the canon character in the novelisation of Odyssey, a fact apparently confirmed in Valhalla.
Yep, Kassandra is the canon character
But Kassandra is the canon, that said I hate seeing the male viking on my PS5 every time I start it up, even though i am playing the female.
Lol freaking vocal miniority and their female protagonists. Over 70 percent of players chose to play as alexios including me. Some shitty novel and words won't change thr fact that its an rpg game so by all rights the only canon character is the one we pick and I picked alexios so he is canon nuff said
Kassandra is cannon in Odyssey. Only in Valhalla they gave a justification about the animus explaining that they both can be cannon. But in Odyssey is Kassandra.
They honestly should've ditched the whole animus thing and made the assassin's creed games just about pursuing and following each assassin. No jumping back and forth or following two stories.
Kinda takes away the whole premise of the game, everyone was hooked to the original games because of the whole concept of the animus
So wait was Edward just there to be the father of Haytham because you just said he found a artifact but didn’t explain what it did
the Observatory is powered by Crystal Skulls that encase a small glass cube filled with a droplet of blood, in Black Flag, the Sage only knows of it's location and explains that the Observatory was built by the precursor race to find and track Humans. After a skull is placed in that machine seen in the video, it brings up some 3d model made out of light that shows exactly where the person who you're trying to find is and what they are doing at that exact second.
how are they aliens if there known as isu?
What history /beliefs is it based on? This sounds similar to things like the annunaki etc
The Creed is inspired by Hashashins... also the Adam & Eve is inspired by the Gnostic take on the Old Testament! (Hope these can help you piece things together)
Rip Alexios
Epic
The Assassins creed game with a happy and pleaseant feel is AC Syndicate
Am I right?
"ISU = Aliens" .. are you kidding me ?
I literally didn’t pay any attention to the overarching story
Can someone tell me why layla killed Victoria?
Layla was being a whiny bitch and killed her by accident
hi, I have a channel as well
Don’t watch this, half of this is wrong
demons = esau..look at the Freemason logo vs AC logo..
That history of assassin creed begins and ends in last game till next assassin creed game comes again
I JUST REALIZED THAT. THAT IS CRAZY
turns out hythem returns in valhalla
Hytham and Haytham are two different people but it is mentioned in Valhalla (present day) that Edward Kenway possibly named his son "Haytham" after Hytham.
K it still doesn't make sense but thank you for trying!
Nice one
Huh?
This is too oversimplified
Edward kenway the best
Didn’t Desmond go to Boston? There was a mission in New York but that was just because he had to get something there.
That "something" Is the key for the temple they are in. Thats literally whats Ac3 is all about lmao
👏🏼
aaaaaaand that's why I can't play AC games.
XerxES
I still don't know the story with Leyla, why does she want or need spear off Leonidas and that Aquaman's staff and what is she searching for in AC Valhalla. all these videos are really stupidly made. if anyone can answer me I'll be glad
what
And Arno is sad lol
Cut n dry. Preesh
darius wasnt a assasin until stupid oddesy had to break all the lore once more
Odyssey lore is so dumb and lore-breaking. They got a guy from EA to write Darius. I wish I was joking.
they said darius was kassandras father in law, that ain’t right either is it ?
@@gramps9130 yes he is. His son married Kassandra and had a child. Darius took the child to Egypt and out of that line came the wife of Bayek in Origins. That whole DLC about Darius was to give homage to Prince of Persia games.
@@tomassalinas3331 riiight that went over my fuckin head lmaoo
Not true. In AC2 in the 'basement' at Monteriggioni there are six statues of assassin's. One of them is Darius and Aya aka Amunet. You can read the statues and Darius' says that he wielded the first recorded hidden blade.
This game is so stupid that I stopped playing it after 1, 2 brotherhood and mid 3. It sucks.

After AC 3 and black flag the rest of the story were 🗑 they just making things up at this point
after ac3 you mean
Rogue was good It was completing story of Ac 3 Ac 4 and Ac Unity
"Just making things up" Damn, didn't know these games was based on a true story. Amazing
@@ItsAllNova damn thought they were straight from the bible
I dont agree, they are not just making things. Valhalla explained the end of AC 3 , this was like 6 games after. In my opinion they already know the full storie of this game, they just are giving differents pieces of puzzles in every game made so we can understand the full puzzle at last.
Huh?
