Not to spoil anything, but Lucy was a Templar this whole time. I kind of wish Desmond was still alive, and that they made a game entirely focused on him. As far as Lucy, they could've kept her around for future situations. Killing her off was a cheap move.

Please make another one of these for AC3 and 4! I've kind of stopped wanting to play through the Assassin's Creed games, as I'm only truly in it anymore for the overall story. Once Ezio's story was over, I didn't have the motivation to keep buying and playing through games, but watching this video certainly summed up all the things I already knew. Just... ya know... make more of the stuff I don't.
Black Flag is a great pirate game and very fun to play. Definitely the biggest game yet contentwise. Unfortunately it is not a good assassin's creed game. It does go a bit further in the story but i expected something much more epic, seeing how AC3 ended. Not even your targets are cool or challenging. Having said that, i will definitely play it again to completion because it a great game overall
Kostas Kokka I don't know why people didn't think black flag was a good assassin's creed game. I thought it was brilliant in that way actually. Rather than sticking with the unrealistic good guy vs. bad guy plot that so many games follow, AC4 got really deep, because it showed a character who was neither assassin, nor templar, but someone caught between them who did not like either of their creeds. Rather than portraying the templars as evil bad guys, it portrayed them as people fighting for a cause just like the assassins. I think AC4 was one of the deepest and most thought provoking of the AC games so far.
yes, it really is, its the most ambitious one to date, with its expansive open world and many activities too, they also provide more opportunity for AC style stealth, not your typical crouch and hide behind corners gameplay, and Edward is an amazing character to play as

Played Assassin's Creed and the three Assassin's Creed 2 games back when they first came out. Never got around to playing anymore. Decided to finally try 3 today and this video helped me a ton in recapping the games I played so I can enjoy 3 better. Thank you from someone 6.5 years in the future lol.
I truly believe that Assassin's Creed is a franchise that can go on for years more. There are so many potential time periods to choose from and they can always replace Desmond's ancestors with someone else's ancestors. How cool would it be to play as a Viking assassin or a ninja assassin, the possibilities are endless. Long live the series because there's nothing else like it.
From best to worst: Assassins Creed Brotherhood - 10/10. Game had very minor flaws, but was amazing overall. Assassins Creed 2 - 9.6. Game was amazing but combat was very defensive and punished aggressive tactics. Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag - 9/10. Very good game. Setting was awesome, but strayed a little bit away from AC formula which is both good and bad. Assassins Creed 3 - 9/10. Another great game. Lots of content and great story, however protagonist was not as badass as Ezio or Edward, and there were many technical glitches, such as pop-in and bugs. Assassins Creed Revelations - 8.5/10. Good game, great story but too short for AC standards, and not as much content overall. Assassins Creed - 8/10. Great story, awesome setting and badass soundtrack. However, gameplay and mission structure was monotonous and not much content in terms of the final game.
3 was better than 4, bcz of the story, Connor was a total badass, born to a native american mother, his struggles and the way he had to kill his own father paved the story well which nobody can expect.

"Nothing is true". it tells us knowledge and truth is hidden. but why? because "everything is permitted". there is no single direction to the truth. even if there is, it's not clear among many. among "everything". so one must seek it but this will never be a simple or moderate quest as he may think. so, the phrase is to be re-phrased "Nothing is true BECAUSE everything is permitted." in fact, there are no 'assassins' or 'templars' in the series. there are those who conceived the true meaning of this phrase and those who didn't. whether be an assassin/templar or not. and yet this serves complicating things much more ...

+Hector Dubon In the clusters in AC2. Remember when you had the option to use eagle vision to find symbols on walls around the map and each time you have to solve some riddles? When you find all the symbols and solve the riddles, a video with Adam and Eve escaping from the garden of Eden with the Apple of Eden is unlocked (you saw part of it in this video). It is kind of a bonus feature so no wonder you havent seen it ingame

WARNING READ THIS ONLY IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF FREE TIME! So ubisoft is losing money on assassins creed games because nobody likes the story anymore. considering assassins creed 2 had the best story and that assassins creed 2 was your best game you need to see what went right in assassins creed 2 and implament it in your newer games. so heres how i think the story should go for your new games. its about a boy who was born in a templar family with an older brother, a twin sister, a mom and a dad. so the boy grows up as a templar but slowly relizes that what the templars are doing for power is wrong so he grows against it and is immedietly sentenced to death by his family but the boy runs away at the age of 22 and finds himself in the city of australia. since he was new to the city he finds a veiwpoint and goes to climb in but at the top he finds a note that says to meet him in an old farmhouse at 6 o clock. so he goes there and finds a man in assassins armor and tells the boy to sit down and says did you get my note and he says yes i did. so the man tells the boy that he is now an assassin and will get the training of one for the next 2 years. so 2 years later the boy has all the training of an assassin and so he goes back to brazil to kill his templar family but as he gets to brazil he bumps into a man about his age and than the man runs off for some reason and than he relizes that that man stole his wallet so he chases after him and beats him up and asks him what his name is and who he works for. the theif tells him that his name Jeffry cryss. so the boy puts him down and relizes that jeffrey and him were best friends but they got split up when he ran away from home. being happy that he found his old friend back he asks him to help him kill his templar sister and jeffry agrees. they go off to kill her but they immdeietly get ambushed by templars and his sister walks up and tells him that he should have joined the templars but than he drops a smoke bomb and assassinates his sister and him and jeffry escape so they can kill his older brother. when they go to kill him william (the assassin) gets stabbed in the back by jeffry and it turns out that jeffry is a templar who posed to be williams friend. william than turns around and stabs jeffry in the neck and kills him. william sets off to kill his older brother all weak from the stab but he goes anyways and confronts his brother the 2 fight but williams brother puches him in the back and than in the head and knocks him unconcious. william wakes up in the templar hideout and sees a guard with the jail cell keys so william tellls the guard that his stomach really hurts and if i die than my older brother will kill you because he wants me to die tortures so the guard comes over and william kicks him in the face, gets his gear back and sees his brother walking in the hall with his father and mother. william shoots him with the hidden blade gun and runs off into the sewers. willliam falls asleep but he wakes up to footsteps and he jumps up to find his mom with a sword in her hand about to kill william. william pulls out his dual knifes and the 2 fight but the mother knocks out the knifes from williams hand and tries to kill him with her swords but william doges the sword and stabs his mom in the knee and than in the head and she dies while telling the location of williams father. william runs off to confront his father but gets ambushed for the second time but this time the templars best guards confront william. william tries to fight but gets disarmed so he runs off defeated. but he returns 3 days later after learning everything about his father. armed with this knowladge william confronts his dad shoots him with a berserk dart and a poison dart and slowly leaves him to die. without a leader the templars flee making william a legend of all generations and letting all people be free and he will stomp out injustice and will remain a hero of all assassins. so what do you guys think? how could i make it better please comment i would love to see your feedback. thanks for reading my story for the next assassins creed game.

I admit ac revelations is not the best in the seris. Gameplay is quite boring as well. But the ending is worth it. It took me 3 days to finish the main story. So I encourage you to finish it :)
Amazing recap! It's been forever since the last time I played the Ezio trilogy, but I wanted to replay AC3. This was perfect for catching up with where the story was at that point.

Franko Sk Not really. I mean, that's just my opinion. The overarching story of Desmond is complete trash, but the individual stories of the historical protagonists can vary from great to bad. I though Ezio's story in AC 2 was good and Edward has a good story in AC4, while Altair's story in the first game is nothing to write home about.
When you look at Assassins creed as a whole, its probably one of the most amazing storylines in game history. Once you begin to understand the overall picture you see how the story actually offers an alternate creation story using Adam and Eve and historical figures. Its almost believable!
Don't worry, most had the same issue with AC3. The main problem really was hype. Ezio was such an amazing character, and Conner just didn't live up to people's expectations. Conner just didn't seem to have any focus and he goes through much of the game questioning everything. Look forward to AC4. It takes a while to get into it as Edward takes a while to find a focus, but once it got going I loved it. I don't know If the series will ever be as good as the Ezio saga though. That was just a brilliant combo of character, story & setting. Unless we grow with another character the series will always seem to be too hectic.
They need to either kill this series or start again from the ground up because in the words of bill duke, you know you fucked up right? The numbered entries are pretty decent except for IV but it feels like I'm playing the same game each year. It has limitless potential if handled correctly but everything about it needs revamped.

But they shouldn't have cooperated modern time with the franchise. In BF for example, the atmosphere was good. You actually felt like a pirate. Hearing the wind drifting through the sail. But then all of a sudden you wake up and have to talk to this team making jokes about pirates and shit. Instead of it being Ohhhh Assassin's, Pirates, Adventures. It's Ohhhh Technology, Animus, blahhhhh.

I like playing the assassin's creed series for the gameplay mechanics. Climbing up buildings, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and running through a heavily populated city quickly and smoothly is something that few games have been able to do successfully. It made the stealth/assassination genre of videogames extremely popular. I also enjoy the feeling that i get when i complete every objective and find every collectable. Which, although it is very time consuming, is very rewarding.

I truly believe that Assassin's Creed is a franchise that can go on for years more. There are so many potential time periods to choose from and they can always replace Desmond's ancestors with someone else's ancestors. From best to worst:
Assassins Creed Brotherhood - 10/10. Game had very minor flaws, but was amazing overall.
Assassins Creed 2 - 9.6. Game was amazing but combat was very defensive and punished aggressive tactics.
Assassins Creed 4 Black Flag - 9/10. Very good game. Setting was awesome, but strayed a little bit away from AC formula which is both good and bad.
Assassins Creed 3 - 9/10. Another great game. Lots of content and great story, however protagonist was not as badass as Ezio or Edward, and there were many technical glitches, such as pop-in and bugs.
Assassins Creed Revelations - 8.5/10. Good game, great story but too short for AC standards, and not as much content overall.
Assassins Creed - 8/10. Great story, awesome setting and badass soundtrack. However, gameplay and mission structure was monotonous and not much content in terms of the final game.
3 was better than 4, bcz of the story, Connor was a total badass, born to a native american mother, his struggles and the way he had to kill his own father paved the story well which nobody can expect.

and the other thing is the well known phrase "Nothing is true and everything is permitted". this consists of two parts. but first i'd like to approach the second part "everything is permitted." the surface level is as you can know the meaning, but this would contradict the 'apple' matter discussed above. so how we must take this phrase of course is its deeper level. in fact, it gives us some information about the existence of the apple, in other words 'wickedness' and the utmost 'corruption'. so one must be cautious and careful because many kinds of trouble and wickedness should be possible as "everything is permitted."
and the first part. i wanted to depict this last since it's a consequence of everything discussed above. "Nothing is true". it tells us knowledge and truth is hidden. but why? because "everything is permitted". there is no single direction to the truth. even if there is, it's not clear among many. among "everything". so one must seek it but this will never be a simple or moderate quest as he may think.
so, the phrase is to be re-phrased
"Nothing is true BECAUSE everything is permitted."
in fact, there are no 'assassins' or 'templars' in the series. there are those who conceived the true meaning of this phrase and those who didn't. whether be an assassin/templar or not.
and yet this serves complicating things much more

When you find all the symbols and solve the riddles, a video with Adam and Eve escaping from the garden of Eden with the Apple of Eden is unlocked (you saw part of it in this video). It is kind of a bonus feature so no wonder you havent seen it ingame

So ubisoft is losing money on assassins creed games because nobody likes the story anymore. considering assassins creed 2 had the best story and that assassins creed 2 was your best game you need to see what went right in assassins creed 2 and implament it in your newer games. so heres how i think the story should go for your new games. its about a boy who was born in a templar family with an older brother, a twin sister, a mom and a dad. so the boy grows up as a templar but slowly relizes that what the templars are doing for power is wrong so he grows against it and is immedietly sentenced to death by his family but the boy runs away at the age of 22 and finds himself in the city of australia. since he was new to the city he finds a veiwpoint and goes to climb in but at the top he finds a note that says to meet him in an old farmhouse at 6 o clock. so he goes there and finds a man in assassins armor and tells the boy to sit down and says did you get my note and he says yes i did. so the man tells the boy that he is now an assassin and will get the training of one for the next 2 years. so 2 years later the boy has all the training of an assassin and so he goes back to brazil to kill his templar family but as he gets to brazil he bumps into a man about his age and than the man runs off for some reason and than he relizes that that man stole his wallet so he chases after him and beats him up and asks him what his name is and who he works for. the theif tells him that his name Jeffry cryss. so the boy puts him down and relizes that jeffrey and him were best friends but they got split up when he ran away from home. being happy that he found his old friend back he asks him to help him kill his templar sister and jeffry agrees. they go off to kill her but they immdeietly get ambushed by templars and his sister walks up and tells him that he should have joined the templars but than he drops a smoke bomb and assassinates his sister and him and jeffry escape so they can kill his older brother. when they go to kill him william (the assassin) gets stabbed in the back by jeffry and it turns out that jeffry is a templar who posed to be williams friend. william than turns around and stabs jeffry in the neck and kills him. william sets off to kill his older brother all weak from the stab but he goes anyways and confronts his brother the 2 fight but williams brother puches him in the back and than in the head and knocks him unconcious. william wakes up in the templar hideout and sees a guard with the jail cell keys so william tellls the guard that his stomach really hurts and if i die than my older brother will kill you because he wants me to die tortures so the guard comes over and william kicks him in the face, gets his gear back and sees his brother walking in the hall with his father and mother. william shoots him with the hidden blade gun and runs off into the sewers. willliam falls asleep but he wakes up to footsteps and he jumps up to find his mom with a sword in her hand about to kill william. william pulls out his dual knifes and the 2 fight but the mother knocks out the knifes from williams hand and tries to kill him with her swords but william doges the sword and stabs his mom in the knee and than in the head and she dies while telling the location of williams father. william runs off to confront his father but gets ambushed for the second time but this time the templars best guards confront william. william tries to fight but gets disarmed so he runs off defeated. but he returns 3 days later after learning everything about his father. armed with this knowladge william confronts his dad shoots him with a berserk dart and a poison dart and slowly leaves him to die. without a leader the templars flee making william a legend of all generations and letting all people be free and he will stomp out injustice and will remain a hero of all assassins. so what do you guys think? how could i make it better please comment i would love to see your feedback. thanks for reading my story for the next assassins creed game.

I admit ac revelations is not the best in the seris. Gameplay is quite boring as well. But the ending is worth it. It took me 3 days to finish the main story. So I encourage you to finish it :)
Amazing recap! It's been forever since the last time I played the Ezio trilogy, but I wanted to replay AC3. This was perfect for catching up with where the story was at that point.

Franko Sk Not really. I mean, that's just my opinion. The overarching story of Desmond is complete trash, but the individual stories of the historical protagonists can vary from great to bad. I though Ezio's story in AC 2 was good and Edward has a good story in AC4, while Altair's story in the first game is nothing to write home about.
When you look at Assassins creed as a whole, its probably one of the most amazing storylines in game history. Once you begin to understand the overall picture you see how the story actually offers an alternate creation story using Adam and Eve and historical figures. Its almost believable!

Don't worry, most had the same issue with AC3.
The main problem really was hype. Ezio was such an amazing character, and Conner just didn't live up to people's expectations. Conner just didn't seem to have any focus and he goes through much of the game questioning everything.
Look forward to AC4. It takes a while to get into it as Edward takes a while to find a focus, but once it got going I loved it.
I don't know If the series will ever be as good as the Ezio saga though. That was just a brilliant combo of character, story & setting. Unless we grow with another character the series will always seem to be too hectic.
AC 3 had some sad moments. Still I think Brotherhood and 2 are the best Assassin's Creed games ever.

But they shouldn't have cooperated modern time with the franchise. In BF for example, the atmosphere was good. You actually felt like a pirate. Hearing the wind drifting through the sail. But then all of a sudden you wake up and have to talk to this team making jokes about pirates and shit. Instead of it being Ohhhh Assassin's, Pirates, Adventures. It's Ohhhh Technology, Animus, blahhhhh.

I like playing the assassin's creed series for the gameplay mechanics. Climbing up buildings, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, and running through a heavily populated city quickly and smoothly is something that few games have been able to do successfully. It made the stealth/assassination genre of videogames extremely popular. I also enjoy the feeling that i get when i complete every objective and find every collectable. Which, although it is very time consuming, is very rewarding.
