the 1st he killed with that blade is the Hippo and that's when he lost his finger, the Skarab who's on screen while you're talking about the snake
If you go and watch the scene where you loose your finger, it is the snake. He even says immediately in the scene following "it is worth the loss to slay the snake at last". But it was the Hippo you assassinate, it's kinda confusing dialog cause he's referring to two people at the same time there. So easy confusion.

you know how desmond's ancestors have that scar? Yeah, i think it could be a coincidence that bayek has it but it's just an interesting detail a lot of people overlook- maybe he's another one of desmond's ancestors-
he's not , Darby addressed this on twitter .. he said Bayek isn't related to Desmond & scars aren't genetic
honestly, I couldn't watch more than a minute of this for the simple detail that he's saying Bayak's name wrong, cause its not like you don't hear it a HUNDRED times in the game or anything...

the truth is that as long as im playing this game, i figure out i'm loosing my soul. all of the graphics and areas come along with suspens and exciting émotions, my heart is full of wird sensations.
this is my first assassins creed game and it is certainly all that!!

the animus lets you see memories through DNA so she used Bayeks DNA. Descendants can still use it too because they have their ancestors DNA
In the game Layla says that she modified the Animus Machine so that it can access any memory.
Origins is probably the best of the new games hated odyssey also wasn't fond of valhalla but once I just stuck to story it wasn't to bad ubisoft use way to much filler
Valhalla is the first one I played and that took me a while to platinum the story is actually great Sigurd being basim’s bumlick the whole time was hilarious. I stopped playing though because one of my trophies got bugged on the druids dlc and that killed the hype I already bought ragnarok ain’t even touched it.

I know the incorrect pronunciation is a long running joke, but "deposed" is pronounced "dih-pohz-d". Pronouncing it as "dihs-pohz-d" is definitely incorrect and cannot be chalked up to being a joke as "disposed" means something very different from "deposed"... technically they mean sort of the same thing, but yeah, different word entirely.

Exactly only the environment looks good in Odyssey....the character animations and their voice are so bad in Odyssey. It feels like orgins came after Odyssey.

How do you listen to someone's name a hundred times maybe even read it if you have the subtitles on and still say it completely wrong in the most American accent possible. Is it just impossible for Americans to just say a name how it's pronounced do they have to pronounce it in an American accent with American English and American pronunciation wtaf and how?
The thing that bothers me about this game story is how TF does a female historical researcher manages to kill multiple trained and experienced mercenaries?

In the original games, Desmond was trained up (and his training sped up) by the Bleeding Effect. During Layla's fight with the mercs, she is off-kiltered and mumbling. Before the fight, in other times we flash to Layla, she is shown to be experiencing heavy signs of the Bleeding Effect. I believe this is how AC attempted to explain how someone untrained was able to take down multiple mercs
