@CALL IT IT IS Ignorance smells all over you. So called Nigeria has been great since tens of thousands of years.
Your lack of knowledge of our so called lost histories is another typical example of an ignorant Nigerian, ignorant African.
Still you have the biggest mouths and think everything is funny that's actually not funny at all.
Our people have suffered for centuries, yes, we have had bad governance since so called Independence, but the imperialistic shackles still hold our hands and legs.

The problem with electric vehicles is the battery. The vehicle's range decreases daily as you charge and discharge. At some point, you're going to have to change the battery. That is when you'd have to spend N1m. Such a huge expense would shock most Nigerians, unless they've been saving up for it.
I think it's better to rent the battery. That way, people can pay less monthly. When the battery is spent, you'd just give it back, and get a new one without needing to pay the full price. The company renting out the batteries could then repurpose old batteries for other use, such as home solar.

Ofcourse they are water proofed . And its very easy to adapt this into these EVs . The once you are seeing now are mostly prototypes . So they haven't adopted these water proof technology . Buts it's one of the easiest thing to do . Though it's a matter of great concern .
      - Within the Next one Decade , Unbelievably Nigeria might have the Highest number of EVs in Africa and in the world . Because of its climatic conditions , it's Economic constraints and the character aof trying to be Economical . The north would love to see less dependency on Crude . The south are sceptical . But would succumb .
      - It would not be like the popular Fuel generator scam . But the government would also ease the importation of Solar panels . That's where it would all Begin . That's the sign . We should watch out for that . And invest in EVs , or support those that have talent and Passion for it .

Your question is irrelevant, it’s a pessimistic question.
We should be glad for this improvement.
Tesla and many other companies are already manufacturing this items, why do we need this consideration now? Isn’t it too late for this question?

Charging points/station should be put in place first before we can go for these cars. Good idea, though. Good job.

Government should spend money on making charging station powered by solar energy or encourage investors to privatize it

Indeed it is. There are many who are simply pessimistic but we must continue to forge ahead regardless of the challenges. Same people use phones, laptops, tv’s etc which all use electricity yet they don’t say let’s not have them because there is no light.

Brother weldon, you are doing well.
The fact is we in Africa don't need electric vehicles, because we extract our our oil we are not buying it like other countries seeling for batteries cars because they want to stop buying your natural resources.
People who are looking for alternative to oil are those with no crude oil, our oil is wealth, let us focus on how to refine our oil so that petrol will be very cheap in the country like during M.Gaddafi era in Libya, we have to see what work for us not engaging in it because others are doing it, if we can refine our oil it will and distribute it. Accordingly it will be cheaper for us, than abandoning oil for batteries.
By so doing we will be for ever depending on our colonial masters, of which we may never equal them because they introduce we copy, they have to always direct what we wear, eat, drive and so on.
We really need to be proud of the deposit God gave to us to enrich our dear land, as we speak Germany and other countries are still digging their coal, for energy because that is what they have as their resources. Why we are fighting to abandoning our God given natural wealth.
WE REALLY HAVE TO FOCUS ON WHAT WILL WORK FOR OUR EVER GROWING POPULATION. THOSE AGITATING FOR ELECTRIC VEHICLES, have no oil in their land that is a fact. It is not a question of if it will work or not, it will work 100%. But abandoning oil for batteries in a land where new wells are been discovered and not yet in operation is an all time lost situation. That is how I see it. Shalom
