I think it's good that you make critical videos, but I have to say that my father has the QN85C in 65 inches and I don't see any blooming effect at all. In dark scenes, the picture shows less than, for example, my brother (LG C3 EVO 55). Absolutely great picture for the beginner neo qled! What you see is really extreme. I have a QLED 60t from 2020 in 85 inches and it has never bloomed like this in its life
LG did it, Samsung is doing it now, and I'm not sure about Sony, but probably they are too. While burn-in is less of a concern now, these companies love this technology like phone companies love hard to replace batteries. Planned obsolescence at its finest.
Thanks for the real world view, I was very close to going for this model, well Costcos UK QN93C, but will now look at something else, I'm battling with a bright room with windows in the background (reflection). I have an Samsung LE46C750R2 (3D Fool) and its been so reliable but ready for an upgrade. Now after watching your review I going hold back and load a usb stick or a hard-drive with one of my movies to try and replicate my viewing, as Im not at all fussed with the gaming side of things. I just need a TV that will be watchable in a bright room and act as a mirror (Reflections), I've been close to buying the Samsung QN95B but not sure about the rainbow effect. Thanks Again your a Top Man for you Honesty and its much appreciated. UK
I ordered tv a month ago just seen review I don’t know why I found this yesterday . Hopefully I did not over pay 65” $1500 on sale . I’m not into inky blacks I will tweak tv an live with it as it is better than anything I’ve ever owned appreciate your perspective.. tech is evolving state anyhow I can live thru this generation. Oh yeah the 65” has ADS panel not the other.
I think this is a better option than the OLED for me because it wouldn't have burn it issue. I keep my screen on hours at a time sometimes letting it sit on one screen for a while. So i dont want to have to worry about burn ins. Eventually, i want a oled. I got the 43" tv so it will have better color than a the ips above the 50". The 43" and 50" have VA panel.
I have returned plenty of stuff due to it being crap and the QN90C is not one of them. I do not believe this video for one minute. I paid 2800 for my 85 QN90C and have not one complaint about this purchase except I wish I had paid lower. I believe this reviewer has a personal agenda as its right below and I mean right below a S90C I had in the house as well as a C3. The S90C was returned due to size and WPM and than I tried a C3 than had basic wifi problems. I than gave mini led a try and have since been a fan of them since my QN90C exp has been excellent.
Hey bro, would you say the QN93C would be better than the regular QN90C? As the QN93C at 50" has a VA panel? Also the 93C has UHD Ultimate Dimming Pro where the regular 90C has UHD Ultimate Dimming. Does the "pro" dimming on the 93c make any difference? I couldn't find any info about what the "pro" version does.
Desperately need you help, I have a samsung le40c650, i am seriously debating between s95b or qn95b. I know qn95b is not the best but I am in a bright room. Please help 👍🏽
This review does not hold up, since the TVs release there have been updates to help the blooming. I have this tv (55") the only time I see blooming is when there is a single icon on a corner of a blank screen. The 65" has even more dimming zones. The HDR picture on this TV is impressive. I keep local dimming to Standard in Movie Calibrated mode & Low in Dynamic mode.
Blooming isnt really great consider its Highend tv, and its not fully dark room. In dark room its even worse but its how it is drawbacks to full array/Miniled. You can get used to it.Only non blooming is still OLED but it has Burn issue which is still thing 😬🤔
I think your reviewing a different tv there was a crowd at the Best Buy outlet q90c stood out with picture quality and motion nothing near what anybody witnessed
I dunno man.....I'm likely buying this anyway in the 85" size...which I can get directly from Samsung for $2339. Since I will be upgrading from my current TV that I bought in the mid 2000's which is a 65" Sharp Aquos 1080p, I'm pretty sure this QN90C will be light years way better....despite the stuff you point out that I can't even see lol. I have seen countless comments from people who OWN this TV and how happy they are with them. You keep mentioning the negative stuff with streaming. Well that's why I still have Xfinity. I also do zero gaming. And before anyone tries to tell me to get an OLED...not happening. My living room has a ton of windows and the tv faces double sliding glass doors that go out to the lake (reflection from that as well). No WAY I am getting an OLED.
Hi - You say "The behavior is the same on all sizes." however the 43" and 50" models use a different VA panel to the other sizes which should theoretically avoid the worst of the blooming issues caused by the ADS panel. have you tested the 43 or 50" models and do you have any comments on the difference in performance? Thank you
Too bad Tcl or hisense dont make good 48-50" tv. 48-50" are only low end models. Higher end models are only 55+". I want it as pc monitor and i dont have space for 55". I have now LG C1 48" but Burn in scare me. I would 100% switch from C1 to Tcl c835 if they were available in 50". Samsung looks like scam not worth crazy money. 50" qn90c cost 2x more than Tcl c835 55" in EU.
I got the 43" qn90b awesome TV for gaming but was to big for me hurt my eyes so I returned it to Currys(pc world). Ended up with the Samsung neo g8 it's awesome for series x and pc 👌
The 43” and 50” apparently have a VA panel over ADS. Would you recommend those? I was looking at S90C OLED but worry OLED is bad for 30fps games. And in burn for gaming if I play constantly.
I already didn't want an OLED because my use of TVs is an invitation to burnin and now with this tactic of nerfing LEDs to make OLEDs look better, I have less desire to buy one.
IPS is better for brighter movies and games where you move your camera a lot, VA is better for darker games and movies, OLED is the best but has burn in problems.
Oleds are jokes, too. Burn-in DOES still exist. I'm not paying a lot for junk like that. In addition, the colors do fade over time. Again, I'm not paying a lot for junk like that. Oled is best for darks and blacks. Qled is best for more accurate colors. Best whites and brights. All leds and lcds have a certain amount of blooming. But at least there's ZERO chance of burn-in and ZERO chance of color degradation. I have friends who have them, and what I say is absolutely true. Until the chance of these is ABSOLUTE ZER, I will stay away from the garbage.
Love the video watched it twice! The ferris wheel scene is the most obvious picture showing blooming. I can see on my 65" S95B from 10 feet away that the center light on the ferris wheel has 10 light bulbs not working in the 8 rings of light bulbs. Also all the lettered retail signs are readable. I have the S&M UHD HDR Benchmark 4K Blu-ray.
This guy is pointing so many messed things in this new samsung tv video. Next year, I hope they (samsung) put out genuinely well-made product for consumer because quantum will be ready again to bust their b*lls everytime he find something bad in future qn90d series. Good informative video. Thanks quantum. Note:- Personally I think, Lg G3 and C3 would be gr8 buy from 2023 lineup as they are comparable to sony OLED lineups and little less priced than sony.
God help us, I hope they use 7K and you 8K work on their processing features this year, they already got colored down and it seems they have many LED down pretty good as well, come on high sense, TCL is only for the niche this year, they only have one mini LED model and it’s their flagship bottle Soto probably be in between two or 3000+, unfortunately, the best day ever did was 221s mini LED, only for rain bottles will be available for the normal buyer on TCM this year, so, like I said, come on hastens
It's quite obvious that this fella is honest with reviews and not swayed by "cash for comment" reviews. Samsung is relying on their name but can't back it up with quality.
Seen the demo in the store incredible. Asked Best Buy employees for remote and quality next to an oled was great however the picture stood out even with the motion felt the the camera man was right there shooting it . The tv didn’t look anything like this in person 😂😂😂 iam waiting for 4th of July sell to get it
This guy is saying truth, no doubts. If you buy it, make sure you will feel regrets that you didn’t get OLED. Black is gray, blooming is everywhere, impossible not to pay attention on it..
As impressive as these new sets might seem to the uninitiated, the Kuro plasma models made by Pioneer are still the best televisions ever made. Plasmas have a genuine glass screen and use an authentic light source. LEDs and OLEDs have plastic screens and rely on artificial light. Plasma declined because it was a premium quality product. Corporations have promoted mass-produced garbage in its place.
Can you redo your blooming test using officially sanctioned modes instead of modes that can be found in the secret menu like cal-night and cal-day. Those weren’t meant to be used by regular consumers.
No because I taught everyone how to use it, what to and not to touch. Its easily replicated. The cal modes are just extra movie mode presets more or less for calibration. They hold 0 local dimming advantage or disadvantage.
Giving it to us REAL !!! Keep the straight path brother ! TVs aren’t cheap and you protect us from all the hype and bs .
🤝
👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Give this man a standing ovation. Great video. Very nicely done. Showing how iso works. Because I was wondering this.
🫡🤝Now you know what to look for when watching other youtubers.
Being a newbie, I just want the truth. I learn faster that way. Mahalo
I got you
Never noticed blooming on my Samsung. I still smile watching the TV.
I did notice burn-in on my OLED.
I think it's good that you make critical videos, but I have to say that my father has the QN85C in 65 inches and I don't see any blooming effect at all. I would really like you to do an in-depth review for the Samsung QN95C blooming!
Real honest review that's what I came here for
Your haters should see this video! You are not a Samsung shill. Man, I really like your videos :) Keep up the great content!
You either want a bright tv or a 0 blooming tv I always go brightest (Neo qled) 👌🏾
Once you get the S95C and make picture settings with it, that’s when I’ll buy the membership
Just waiting for the 55"👍
Yeah get an oled have the worty of burn in, and that lovely aggressive ABL, what a dream!
Do you think manufacturers are killing their LCD’s to advance their OLED’s?
LG did it, Samsung is doing it now, and I'm not sure about Sony, but probably they are too.
While burn-in is less of a concern now, these companies love this technology like phone companies love hard to replace batteries. Planned obsolescence at its finest.
Yes
I can’t wait for you to put the Hisense U8K head to head with the U7K or U6K ! I’m done with Samsung (now known as swanSong )
Qd oled all day every day for me
Same here
Samsung brand devaluation going hard in 2023.
100%
Great video thanks for the straight up truth
You deserve nothing less
I was thinking of buying this tv. After so many reviews I've heard the same thing about this tv. So I went for the s92c
Wow it’s like I literally said in my last comment. When push comes to shove and you need to drive a point home, you show us all in real time.
Yessir!
I'm buying the on sale qn90b, it's a great tv
You can do better. I don't recommend that tv.
Thanks for the real world view, I was very close to going for this model, well Costcos UK QN93C, but will now look at something else, I'm battling with a bright room with windows in the background (reflection). The #1 Brand in honestly!!! You're the man Q!! Keep keeping it real my guy.
I ordered tv a month ago just seen review I don’t know why I found this yesterday . Hopefully I did not over pay 65” $1500 on sale . @Quantum_TV Thanks for the detailed video! What about the QN90C 43" which afaik uses a VA panel? :)
Another great video Q! My hisense H9G rocking your settings still looks better than this TV does and it’s from 2020 lol
🫡😉👍
I think this is a better option than the OLED for me because it wouldn't have burn it issue. I keep my screen on hours at a time sometimes letting it sit on one screen for a while. Great Frank video. What your opinion of Somy A90k 48 inch? LG C3 42 inch? Thanks
the qn90b does the spiderman scene way better, right? Right??? Stressin cause i need a 43inch next week
I'm still rocking the qn90a as a secondary tv.. I wonder if the qn90a is ips & or better than the qn90b or qn90c?.
how do you minimize or eliminate blooming?
Fuccc i just bought this tv and after all that blooming found your video. Another thing i must send back i guess.
I have returned plenty of stuff due to it being crap and the QN90C is not one of them. I do not believe this video for one minute. If you say so
Is this video raw or is it adjusted how you would normally adjust your television picture?
Sorry, I don't get what you're asking
I didn't do anything special
You out here spitting facts!!! Uncovering all the fuckery. I’m glued to your content like episodes of GOT 🤣
😉 I'll keep it exciting
X90l 55 inch or qn90b 50 inch ?
Blooming isnt really great consider its Highend tv, and its not fully dark room. In dark room its even worse but its how it is drawbacks to full array/Miniled. You can get used to it.Only non blooming is still OLED but it has Burn issue which is still thing 😬🤔
Will stick with LED Sony or maybe i try my first oled.
Cant believe that this TV is soo bad.
I think your reviewing a different tv there was a crowd at the Best Buy outlet q90c stood out with picture quality and motion nothing near what anybody witnessed
I understand now thank you
Good😊
lower size equals less blooming.
if anyone has IPS panels never go above 32 or 43inches of TV in their bedroom i guess
Sadly they don't put ips on the box. You would need tools to test the pixel structure and contrast ratio.
I dunno man.....I'm likely buying this anyway in the 85" size...which I can get directly from Samsung for $2339. 43 and 50 are va with little flowering
Ok
oh yeah, I'll buy an oled that is 5/3 of the price, I definetly have the money for that.
Qn700b is a huge disappointment. Going to return it while I still can. Expected more from an 8k set in 2023!
This tv is not good far away it looks like this but up close a little less better than oled
Can you do a side by side with the Q8FN? Lets see how far we have come... or fallen..

wtf i’ve been on youtube comparing tv’s for months and the video i needed to see shows up after i bought the qn90c
Crazy how I can see that bloom now after watching a few of your videos about this TV.
🫡🤝knowledge is power
The 43” and 50” apparently have a VA panel over ADS. Would you recommend those? I was looking at S90C OLED but worry OLED is bad for 30fps games. And in burn for gaming if I play constantly.
My 1080p Sony looks better this and that a 2012 tv
I already didn't want an OLED because my use of TVs is an invitation to burnin and now with this tactic of nerfing LEDs to make OLEDs look better, I have less desire to buy one.
Yeah you're definitely being forced into oled these days
IPS is better for brighter movies and games where you move your camera a lot, VA is better for darker games and movies, OLED is the best but has burn in problems.

Good video. For over $2,000 I will keep my plasma for that type of quality.
Good choice!
Again, has it been verified that ALL sizes of the QN90C in the U.S. will have IPS panels?
Thanks quantum, this is why I trust the numbers one brand In honestly. I only trust you in tv reviews

Similar to this but yes.
Ugh!! I wish I had seen this review before spending $1500 on this TV :(
It's quite obvious that this fella is honest with reviews and not swayed by "cash for comment" reviews. Samsung is relying on their name but can't back it up with quality.
Hey Quantum, would you ever consider selling merch? I would totally buy "The #1 Brand In Honesty" hoodie 💪🏽
This TV reminds me of the Sony 900F blooming Machine of 2019!
Its worse
Quantum, I’m personally waiting I’m really hoping Sony fixes their motion because learning towards a95l and lg g3
Thanks for the Spiderman example. TV looks awful for the $
🫡
Broo. Thanks for keeping it real!
Thank you Mr. quantum
Any time Ali
Very interesting well explained and clear (with no blooming in your explanation 😁😁)
Glad you liked it!

hi quantum im ready to join your channel what tv the you recommend for pc light gamming and streaming use only round $2500
My QN 90 C doesn’t bloom. You just need to fine tune the color & contrast a bit. Easy to do. Mine is perfect.
Color & contrast don't effect local dimming........😐...
does the qn85c have the same problem?
Yes
Favorite booty shorts bloom , lmao
Im on a roll with jokes now, the bloom killed my netflix and chill session

LOVE this channel. This guy is the REAL deal. Very rare to find on RUclips.
Thank you Kyle!
Good video
Thanks for the visit
