The S90D has better image quality as it's a QD-OLED. The QN90D is a Mini-Led. The S90D is very bright with better contrast. That said, the QN90D does win in a very bright room.
@ cheers mate for getting back to me, I was leaning towards to the qn90d, rather than a lower budget oled like the s90d, do you think there is a massive imagine quality difference between the two?
Some reviewers are bashing this years QN90D because the viewing angles have been reduced with the new VA panels. Do you find this to be an issue? I wanted to see for myself, but none of the 11 Best Buys in my city currently have this model in yet.
I don't quite understand the critism as I thought it looked very good and had better local dimming than last year. But I like VA for it's contrast. I also didn't find it's viewing angle to be terrible. I recommend it as long as it's a bit cheaper than the same size QD-OLED
If youre looking for an 85 inch I always recommend the QN90C OR QN90D the qn90c is still around you could get them for 2200 OLED in 83s is very unaffordable
I saw the 8K Neo QLED 75" next to the 77" 4K OLED the other day. I preferred the 8K, which was cheaper as well. Better for pretty images and of course (if I can trusat others) fine fonts and such. I'm very curious about the AI upscaling of 4K and even HD content on a good 8K TV, but my local store is not set up to demo that for me.

@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY I just bought a LG 42 C4 last weekend. All I’m going to say is don’t buy it, especially if using as a monitor/gaming setup, as 1. Brightness is not great in these TV’s as it is, but it is even lower in the 42 & 48 models than larger ones. 2. Brightness is forcibly dimmed even further when using in game optimiser picture mode. 3. And the worst one for me, is it has a very noticeable green tint on the lateral sides of the screen when viewing from almost all distances that most people would sit at for a PC monitor (I’m talking even up to 1.5m away). This tint cannot be removed by warming the colour grade or reducing the greens, as all that does is create a magenta tint in the middle of the screen. Will be returning tomorrow and getting the 43” QN90D I originally wanted, but was talked out of by 3 different salesman, from 2 different stores. So, again, don’t get suckered in like I did. The many complaints around these issues online, are true. Fingers crossed the QN90D will be the worthy upgrade I was always hoping for. Cheers
I couldn't careless about the speakers, only care about the picture, because I use external speakers in a 5.1 surround system. TV speakers and even a sound bar is mickey mouse compared to a true surround sound system.

As of now, all my TVs are now Neo QLED, and the picture is perfect.

@@Chris-125 nope, it is a VA panel
Looks pretty good to me 👍
Say that three times fast! 😂 Great review, thank you. I've ordered mine and am waiting for delivery. 😁
What were your preferred settings for the monitor when you tested it?
The 85”qn800c 8k 85”qn90D 4k is same price on sale now today $2799 so what should I upgrade to from my old 85”qn90a ???
Would there be a big difference between this tv and the s90d? Not sure which to buy ?
The S90D has better image quality as it's a QD-OLED. The QN90D is a Mini-Led. The S90D is very bright with better contrast. That said, the QN90D does win in a very bright room.
@ cheers mate for getting back to me, I was leaning towards to the qn90d, rather than a lower budget oled like the s90d, do you think there is a massive imagine quality difference between the two?
The S90D isn't really lower budget as long as it's QD-OLED. But I've done several more videos on the QN90D if you want to get an even better look
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY cheers mate I’ll look now ! Thank you ! 🙏
@@jasonneale1989 my pleasure! Thank you for being here
Thank you, Brian, for the detailed review. I'm weighing the 65" QN90D against the Sony Bravia 7. What would be your recommendation
Same question, what is the conclusion you made ?
@@sumit180288 Bravia 7.
which one did you buy ?
@@sumit180288 Sony, great experience so far
What size of tv is the one being reviewed and shown on this video? Thanks.
Is there any noticeable ghosting in gaming?
none been using it on xbox series x & switch and it's very very good
Yes there is. On a ps5 pro using vrr it's awful.
I want this one but ima have to settle for the 85d more affordable.
Thanks Brian!
Is it a significant jump compared to the QN90C?
It a good improvement in regards to it's local dimming, and the processing has been tweaked.
What’s your prediction for 98” Black Friday price Brian?
Some reviewers are bashing this years QN90D because the viewing angles have been reduced with the new VA panels. Do you find this to be an issue?
I wanted to see for myself, but none of the 11 Best Buys in my city currently have this model in yet.
I don't quite understand the critism as I thought it looked very good and had better local dimming than last year. But I like VA for it's contrast. I also didn't find it's viewing angle to be terrible. I recommend it as long as it's a bit cheaper than the same size QD-OLED
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Thanks Brian. Appreciate the quick reply!
@thetrumanshow4791 my pleasure my friend
If youre looking for an 85 inch I always recommend the QN90C OR QN90D the qn90c is still around you could get them for 2200 OLED in 83s is very unaffordable
Yep I can get the QN90C in the 85" size for under $1900 right now. That's what I'm getting.
I would have considered it if Samsung supported the Dolby Vision
BGR or RGB MAtrix?
looking for this as well, as im planning to use the 43 inch for programming
How's text blooming for subtitles or any pc white text on black
I saw the 8K Neo QLED 75" next to the 77" 4K OLED the other day.
I preferred the 8K, which was cheaper as well. Better for pretty images and of course (if I can trusat others) fine fonts and such.
I'm very curious about the AI upscaling of 4K and even HD content on a good 8K TV, but my local store is not set up to demo that for me.
Great content!
Need your opinion ... QN90d or QN800c?
Thank you! Excellent Question! I like the new QN90D but I'd still give the edge to the 800C for overall picture quality and processing.
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY
Which panel is on the QN800C, VA or APS?
@ZakNazif the 8K I believe are VA but I'll check
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY
Many thanks 🙏🏻
Great video! This tv is very good but the s90c is cheaper now so I'm tossing up between qn90d or s90c? Ur videos are making it hard to choose coz I like em all! 😂
🤣🤣🤣I'm glad you like them all at least !
Should I get the QN85C 55 inch or QN90D 50 inch? Which is better for HDR in games?
Hey Brian hope you’re having a great day, Question if I may. This QN90D colors are starting to mimic LG in the fact they’re becoming more neon, especially the greens. Like A FOREST. .Well I live in Colorado and I’ve never seen a neon green tree in my life. Would cutting down on color volume mitigate the neon at all and make it a bit more natural or is Sony my only solution to natural like colors? Thanks in advance for your feedback.
Probably lower color saturation..
I have a Samsung Medical promotion 30% discount. Do I go with QN90D 85 or S95D 77 with a free tv? I want the bigger tv but everybody is raving about the S95D. Any advice would be appreciated, I need somebody to pull the trigger for me. 😅
What did u end up going with?
Quelle téléviseur entre le Samsung QN90D et LG G4 le plus lumineux ? et est que le LG G4 le blanc est que ses un blanc pétant ou bien le blanc est toujours encore rosé ou bleuté ? merci beaucoup de me répondre
Brian, is it me or does the QN90D look like such a darker picture overall.
In comparison to what? It's got a good image and is bright enough. It's not the brightest tv in the world but it's good enough
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Comparison to your friend? Not sure what that meant but thanks for responding I guess.
@kyledillon1998 oops I meant brightness in comparison to what?
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Sorry Brian it looks like it got plenty of Nitts. I suppose comparing it to the QN95C with the same demo content it looks dimmer. Maybe it just the camera. I like the improvement processor. I was about to buy the X93L but your video gave me a moment of pause.
@kylescovers9833 the X93L is very good and an even better value. But I'd wait just a bit longer. The QN95C is very expensive but definitely on par with the X95L. I have them compared on the channel. If you can wait a few weeks we will be showing and discussing Sony’s new group. Then the Sony prices should fall even further if you want to go that route
Hard time believing it's worth the cost over a QN90C. I can get that one for under $1900 right now in the 85" size.
What do you think of this compared to the Q80D? Squaretrade wanting to send me a Q80D to replace my "unfixable" Q90R and it feels like a big downgrade to me. I think this set is more of a replacement.
The Q90D is a good deal better even the 85D. No thanks to an 80d
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY thanks! I had a feeling the 80d was below our standard. I think they will offer me a 90c next but I’m afraid of the ups style panel. Do you think that compares to the Q90R? It’s been a great set and died way too early.
@Category5 the 90C will be an improvement my friend
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Last time! I Promise. They are offering QN90C or X93L (75"). Still holding out for something with a one connect box, but they say pick from these 2. Thinking Sony, but reviews say lots of bloom. What's your take?
@@Category5 they are very different. I can only speak the X93L at 85" where it's excellent. Smaller sizes I'd go with the Samsung
is this the same as Samsung qn91d?
Which will be better between bravia 7 and qn90d for long term usage?
Brian , what’s your secret, are you putting essential oils on your face, because you keep getting better looking. 😂

Qn90d vs bravia 9. Which one and why?
Thank you ❤
I wishSamsung would use IPS Panels compared with Quantum Dot by Mini LED Backgound lightning.... so this Samsung Neo QLED TVs would are huge better as then is!
My new IPS Monitor with FALD Mini LED AND Quantum Dot is way better!
Don't get this for ps5 pro, has terrible vrr ghosting. Sent mine back and got an oled.
Hos is the VA pannel?
Qn90d or s95d
S90d 😅
Better than the Bravia 7 ???
Youll see them compete on this channel tomorrow at 75"
50 or 55 inch?
All Samsung tvs are on sale right now Buy any of The New TVS and get a free 65 inch. Got the 50 inch qn90d for 1200 with my student discount.
50 inch this or LG C4 48, want good HDR, will blacks make up for the lack of NITS, dropping from 2000 to around 800 for the oled, really not sure now.
I'd still go for the oled. If the QN90D was 55" then go with the QLED. But at nearly the same size the C4 beats it
@@BRIANSTECHTHERAPY Gutted at moment, work schemes get me c4 OLED money, it is taking time to come through so offer for free included £400 sound system in curry’s has gone, they do have it with Xbox series x for an extra £178 though 😋👍

65"
Is it VA...I have a 55 inch QN92C and it has a ADS panel...I dont like it...I prefer my 2018 Qled Q6FNA with VA panel...
Just watched the Bravia 9 intro. Looking forward to the professional’s take on it, but thus far the Sony is much brighter and will have less blooming at the same time due to the new backlighting. Oh, and $2.k cheaper at 85”.
Hope the professionals have a great answer for you, my friend.
This 43" vs 42" C4.
I'd give the C4 the edge as it's close in size and oleds instant pixel response and micro contrast are very hard to beat. Thank you for watching
Cheers
Will see what the deal is yo
Don't buy qn90d 43 and 50inch
Because the speakers are 20w
Last year qn90c have 40w speakers if you want 43 and 50 inch buy qn90c
the 43" only has 20w speakers according to Samsung website
I couldn't careless about the speakers, only care about the picture, because I use external speakers in a 5.1 surround system. TV speakers and even a sound bar is mickey mouse compared to a true surround sound system.
I spent a few thousand dollars last year buying OLED TVs. A Samsung and the other an LG. The colors were so harsh on my eyes that I had to return both. I got a 75-inch Neo QLED, it's erfect. Just use the natural picture setting, not the intelligent setting. I tried Vivid, and it was too bright. Natural was perfect for all my video viewing. As of now, all my TVs are now Neo QLED, and the picture is perfect.
Excellent comment and I'm so glad you found the perfect TV for you! Thank you so much for watching
Overlook ? Q90d is the best bang for your buck in the market right now.
Yes it is right now however it came out months ago at the same price as the S95D. It wasn't on anyone's radar and most people are now talking about it. Thank you for watching
Samsung qn90D *Too much Ovar bright this tv* 10 leval brightness , and *Eco mode* or *intelligence mode* ovar bright
*White Shade colours* ,only red colour clear 🤦🏻♂️😔
If this was well priced..it could be great , .1500 USD is too much for a 50 inch.. looks like I will just wait for hisense u8n and similar TVs ..
