$3,299 S90D vs $2,499 S85D in 83 in which would be the better buy since they are both WOLED tvs. Or should I just get the 85 in QN90D $2,299 or 83 in LG B4 $2,499. I have the HW-Q990D soundbar with the 77 in S90D I just would like a bigger screen like 83 or 85 in. I am 11 feet from tv in light controlled living room. I will just watch movies, tv shows, news a little, and no gaming..I am still in the return window from best buy. I don't know what to do. I have the 5 year Geek squad warranty on the S90D for burn in so not to worried about that. I just want a theater like experience in the living room.
Good description of your experience as you call it. In comparison to Bravia 9, would you rate it better or just not as good, and if so, what’s the main difference? Thanks
Thanks for watching! I had to send the Samsung back to them over a month before the Bravia 9 arrived, so i never got to see them side by side. I would give them a tie in viewing angles and reflection. As far as motion and upscaling, Sony wins by a small margin. Dark scenes, are REALLY great on both and too close to call. I personally prefer the more natural look of the skin tones and colors of Sony over the slightly more saturated Samsung.
@ thank you for a fast reply, much appreciated. I got A95L in 65” and want to go bigger, but A95L in 77” is way too expensive so I considered mini led tv or “cheaper” oled. So now looking at G4 vs Bravia 9. Bravia 8 I find bit dim to my liking.
Purchased this QN90d 85" in Nov/Dec 2024 and considering returning it. I'll explain why in a sec. Everything about performance and picture quality i agree with is fantastic. BUT have an issue with the "ani reflective" tech Samsung uses. I general daylight its fine. But in the evening with a reg side lamp you have in the corner of your room the light reflection is transformed into a dispersion line across the entire screen. Even when your angle changes, ie you sit/stand by the source of the light where in a normal reflection angle would not allow you to see the light source you still see the line for each light source across the screen. SO any light source facing the screen no matter the angle is visible as a line. Its not apparent when you have a bright source playing but any shadows/darker parts with what is playing on the screen you can notice. Im surprised reviews like this have not caught that. This is also apparent on the 8k models as well.
I brought the same TV at the same time as you, and I'm not impressed either. I get a rainbow effect from room lighting, I was unimpressed with the user interface and the white turn off flash it's blinding at night. It also doesn't let you have full control of all it's settings, it locks up options depending on input selection, other brands let you have more options. Should have brought the Hisense mini led at half the price
Thanks...bought a 85 and 65 on both. Im cool with the small remote. I have a newer Crystal and plain QLED so im use to it now. My only issue with the NEO I can not link remote to newer Verizon STB. (HELP!). Anyone have advice on pairing Remote to new Verizon STB?
Thanks for the analysis! I need some advice: I have a SafePal wallet with USDT, and I have the seed phrase. (alarm fetch churn bridge exercise tape speak race clerk couch crater letter). How should I go about transferring them to Binance?
@jonwong3429 I had my refurbished 55-inch QN90C for one day, but the IPS "glow" was a major turnoff for me. Thankfully, I got an amazing deal on a new 55-inch QN90D from Samsung, and I am sure that I will enjoy the VA panel on that model more.
I just got the QN90d. While Netflix looks amazing, SDR is horrendous with Cox cable. Sports are unwatchable. What am I missing? My 10 year old LG LCD has a better picture, less contrast, but a better picture.
What a terrible review. I can tell your video was sponsored by Samsung. You didn’t mention whether the TV had a VA panel, how many local dimming zones it has, how it handles blooming, is it worth the steep price compared to comparable TV. Absolutely terrible review ❗️
He obviously said he got it from Samsung dude. And honestly, who cares? If you're planning on buying a Samsung, then you obviously know what you are trying to get.

Nice video keep up the great work NewStuffTV1
I brought home a 50" about a week ago. Upgraded from 1080p. I'm in love.
Upgraded??? How?
best thing about samsung tv's is that all 4 hdmi ports are hdmi 2.1 and not just 2 of them like sony, hisense ant tcl.
Just ordered 75. From costco and waiting on delivery. With all the discounts and set up paid 1720.
I just upgraded to a 2024 65" QN90D from a 2017 55" Q7F. Best move I could have made
How you liking your tv?
@ i’m loving it, one of the best pictures I’ve seen on a household TV
@@sirpoppington1 did you calibrate the picture? Are you having any issues with dark scenes turning too dark or dimming too much?
The viewing angle is so wide I can stand behind it and still see it. 😂🤣🤪😁👍
One reason why I bought the 50” Samsung Q60D tv was because of the remote. The remote is so easy to use!
They sell that remote 2/$11 on Amazon. Works on all Samsung TVs
I just ordered this tv. I can’t wait to receive it

@NewStuffTV1 Excellent review.💫
Can you tell me the difference between Samsung 50QN90D and Samsung 50QN92D? Which one is better?
Hi,
is it normal for this TV to tilt backward when it is mounted on stand?
Very nice TV and review.👍

I have 75" qn90c with abs panel and its a great tv so I would assume the 90d would be better.
I have a 85 qn90c bought a year ago. Bought a 65 open box s90c for 899 recently. Now I wish I could return the qn90c for an oled.

Why didn't you show the reqular SDR you tube contents br , we want to watch that too, not everyone watching NETFLIX br😊
Is this better,than the Samsung QE65S90D ?
In the UK this panel.is a VA and the viewing angle is terrible. Shame as its a solid panel.
Qn90d has VA panel in all countries! However It has ultra viewing angle layer
Samsung has the best off axis view for qled.
I must admit that AI customization sounds pretty slick. Does Sony B7 have anything like that?
You like it better than the Sony Bravia 7?
Hell yea I do
Samsung QN90D or QN95C?
Awesome
Loving my 85” QN90D for $1,540 after all discounts and price matches so far. My last Samsung was the 2016 KS8000, and is leagues ahead.
Is that deal available to the masses?
@ it was workplace discount, 10% discount and price matches. It’s $1,839 for Black Friday for anyone.
I got the 75 inch because I didn't want to go too big and it costed 1300. Best tv at this price range by Faaar
