This video (and it's sequel) is so funny because it is genuinely one of the worst argumented videos regarding Sonic period, but it just oozes that late 2000's to early 2010's vibe of distain towards the series perfectly. The mostly calm discussion mixed in with the sudden use of a slur, the commenting on certain things without elaborating, the blatantly just not giving a shit when it comes to 3D Sonic and brushing things aside, and yet, through it all, I can't bring myself to hate it. It truly is a product of it's time in both the best and worst ways possible, and to an extent I appreciate for that, in it's own strange way.

This line is absolute gold. It made me laugh the first time I heard it.
Man what ever happened to UnknownArchive? I know he started doing live action vlog stuff for a while and eventually made a farewell video on the channel, but I didn't expect nearly everything related to him to vanish from the internet. I didn't even notice until I went to watch his Resident Evil video and couldn't find it. Finding literally anything on UA that isn't his Sonic or Back to the Future videos is fuckin impossible. Dude didn't need to make all his original uploads of all his videos inaccessible...
The original channel got struck down, and he didn't have all the original videos to reupload to his new channel, which he then completely darked because he'd completed that chapter of his life and wanted to move onto raising his family. It's rather unfortunate too, because he was too niche for all of his videos (at least, the enjoyable game-related ones) to be archived.
Unfortunately, he got outed as a sex offender and deleted everything :( @@thishandle.wasnttaken

As a kid I thought this was great because it was funny, now as an adult I think it's great because it's funny and because I actually agree with a ton of his points now.

UnknownArchive primarily used his channel for archiving copyrighted videos/footage. And while yes, that could've led to the deletion of his channel, that might not be the whole story. I distinctly remember him saying something to the effect of, "my channel's getting too big, so once I reach a high enough sub count, I'll disappear and start a new channel under a different name." So for all we know, he could still be out there making videos like these with his old fanbase being none the wiser...
