@@yuppp7204I bought my girlfriend an iPhone because she's trapped in their dumb blue bubble ecosystem. The plastic apple branded case I bought was $69 and cracked in a single drop. They can and will overcharge for literal plastic. It's insane what they get away with. It's $15 on Amazon for a case that is a better quality.

dude same. I love them. I’ve used the Jelly 2 for months at a time and this one, when it comes to size is the exact same. Specs are higher and it would be an ok daily driver.. good stuff! Obvi not for heavy usage like Genshin gaming but I was legit using it to login to Okta Verify and other security apps for work 😂 so funny

I did a series on TikTok couple years ago that accumulated about 20 million views and it’s why they sent me other samples.
The lights on the phone flashing with notifications (I'm just assuming they do with notifications and not just the ringtone) would be a helpful feature to have for someone who was deaf.

Yes you can use an xbox controller on dolphin. was a slight annoyance at first setting up the buttons but you can save multiple presets so its not that bad once you set it up

Had the unihurtz atom a few years back and loved it. Bought this model a month ago and I am loving it so far.

@@Mandarin9900Depends on what you're emulating - portable consoles generally had smaller screens, so the user interfaces for their games would usually compensate for this with simplification or greater legibility...
9:27 yeah you are meant to tap the screen where you want it to focus. if you don't it will try to do it itself.

Reminds me of my Palm phone. Ridiculously tiny in every way, including the battery life. It's no surprise yours is such a chunky boy, because I'm lucky to get two hours on my Palm.
I miss my Palm Phone. Bigger screen than these Unihertz things, thinner, lighter - just a better experience/feel in the hand. I might look into getting a new battery for mine and going back to it, actually. If you deGoogle the thing, the battery life could be decent.
It probably fit in those plastic pieces that go onto an xbox controller, and then you got yourself a mini handheld. A powerful one at that.

I’d be more worried about the floor than the phone if I drop it. it emulating PSP well is great & the fact that it just like, a radio/walkie talkie antenna too is awesome, even if I never ever use it. I don't have the ringer on because of my job and I don't have vibration on for anything other than calls and alarm. Now I am in need of a new phone and am looking at "dumb" or otherwise smaller models like this. I have to save up but it's going to be a rough couple of weeks for me. It's so thick I am surprised that it doesn't have a keyboard or number pad that slides out of it.
I had an old Elephone back in the day which was even smaller than this Unihertz phone ( it was a second phone for work). Unfortunately after using it for a couple of weeks, massive drawbacks (unavoidable due to the size) such as a sub par Android UI which was modified for a small screen, sluggish performance, and the terrible typing experience swayed me away from picking up another SFF phone. That being said, I loved picking up calls on it and looking at messages and seeing everyone around me gasp at the size of it 😅

This is very similar to the Palm phone Verizon came out with, though that phone's downfall was that because it was very thin it had a piddly battery on par with a smartwatch so it would only manage a couple hours of heavy use. They marketed it as a "companion" device but that never caught on. There was a larger battery case for it that made it about as thick as this so maybe they should have done this in the first place
Does it have gps? I wanna see if I can use this as a google maps smartphone replacement and wear it as a watch. Smartwatches have the problem of being a phone next to it to work. If Google maps works in it, they would be great

Does the dolphin GameCube emulator not come with setting to remap your touchscreen to have the buttons where you would like? I would imagine it would be under gamepad settings if you have it, you'd just have to toggle from the touchscreen to the controller (some emulators require the controller to be connected to the phone directly via wire)

I had [probably still have somewhere] the original Unihertz Jelly phone; quite liked it except for its battery life - didn't always last all day, and I'm not a heavy user.
They actually did the weird LED in the back thing first with their older models before nothing phone did it. Suprised they didnt try suing nothing phone over it.
This is a great smartphone to use when making calls or sending texts.

Unihertz certainly makes some interesting phones. I purchased an Atom, their rugged phone a few years back. Cool phone, but rugged it was not. The rubber casing started falling apart within the first 3 months. The phone didn’t last 6. I think as a backup phone it would be fine, but not as a daily driver. My iphone can take more abuse.

Using a Pixel 6. I like the big, screen but maybe that's the point. I got absorbed for far too long in TikTok and RUclips, and I'm sure I'm not alone. I'm seeing some insane features packed into this phone for such a small price. Might just have to pick one of these up, might end up replacing the Pixel 🤔

@@coolguy0632 your mom's DMs obviously. But in all seriousness - this video literally just showed it's a decent little game machine. Good luck playing those games on a crowded 4g network. Do you take pics or videos either for work or personal and share them regularly? 5G = better. Also just because this thing has a tiny screen doesn't mean I won't want to cast something in 4k. And the truth is if you live in a dense urban environment, you're often swapping back and forth between 4 and 5g for whichever network has the best bandwidth right now. Finally, yarrr don't ye be worrying about what I downloaded matey 🏴☠️🦜

This is the phone that sits in my pocket, and it sits well. Music sounds fine, when I need to use it for a GPS, it works fine for that. I can still text, read e-mails, youtube. There's more pros than cons for this IMO. I had the atom before, the camera was worth upgrading to the jelly 2 for. It's still not a great camera, but it works well enough.
If your resolution small(small phone screen but still 720p or 1080p whenever small phone) on your phone and chipset mid range, you got great playing emulator(depend what you playing game from emulator)

grapic settings used in cod and emus? at what presets did it struggle with specific emu? did you even try upscaling and AA and stuff? left out many interesting parts. i dont actually know how good its gaming. not that 4K rendering makes any sense wtih this screen or even the hardware but would be nice to know how far it can be pushed. alas....
as Jelly's 2 owner, sure you can game on it. and daily drive as well.

Helio G99 with 8gb ram is capable running switch emulator (yuzu and Skyline) you could run some light game there.
even more crazy you can try Winlator (a GUI version of BOX64) basically a windows emulator.. yeah it exist

with the amount of money some companies are asking for emulation devices (miyoo, anbernic) this with an decent controller could be an option

xbox controllers do work perfectly with dolphin you just need to bind the buttons accordingly in the "gamecube input" menu you get when you click the three dots in the top right corner of the app before you launch any roms

Yes you can use an Xbox controller with dolphin emulator. I use qn Xox One controller via Bluetooth. You can configure it in the dolphin settings
