Judaism is more complex than you think. Look, I’m “pro Palestine,” but I’ve also read a lot about Judaism because I want to support Palestine without being ignorant of judaism and antisemitism. Basically, “Being Jewish” is passed down the mother’s side, and many Jewish women in the US, marry non-Jews, which leads to Jewish children who have the last name of their non-Jewish father. There are also lots of different types of Jews. So in the U.S., most people are familiar with Ashkenazi Jews, who have European admixture, but there are also Mizrahi Jews, whose recent ancestry stems from the Middle East and Arab world, Ethiopian Jews, who are black, and other groups like “Mountain Jews,” who come from the Caucasus areas like Azerbaijan, Georgia, etc. and there are many other types of Jews.
The First Amendment needs to be protected. Hurt feelings aren't worth more than the constitution.
Why Free Palestine makes them uncomfortable ? That is another question.
It's unfortunate that everyone isn't happy... But this is America (not Israel) and even if I don't agree, people have Freedom of Speech...
