40 yrs of watching this crazy game. I have never, ever, seen BOTH keepers sent off in one match. That's something you'd only see in hockey during a brawl.

Brazil vs Ecuador last year almost had it. The Ecuadorian keeper got sent off and Allison got a red card twice but they were both rescinded
it's a sham that it took until the 88th minute for Martinez to get a yellow for time wasting. He was literally taking 30 seconds plus over every goal kick and free kick. Karma that when he did pick up the yellow, Milan scored about one minute later.
Oli must be an example for any Milan players. He play with heart! Its exceptional!

I watched it live, that was a crazy ending that seemed like it would never end! I don't know why we couldn't have just kept the ball safely instead of letting Genoa have so many chances towards the end, resulting in the chaos with Maignan. But still, we got the 3 points, and we'll just have to do our best against Juve without Theo and Maignan.
Every single long ball by Genoa was a threat. Such a shame Pioli couldn't do anything to counter for 100 minutes.

Crazy, heart-stopping game! Just one little remark: the referee stopped the game to send Genoa’s GK off, but in that moment Leão was almost on the ball and with an easy pass to a mate running towards an open field.. why stopping the game?! 2-0 would have been better than a red card, with still 2 minutes left..
I think the referee has to stop the game if he's about to send someone off, because if he plays advantage and the player who shouldn't be on the field does something to score or stop a goal it makes things really awkward.

The referee then should give the red card at the next stoppage or, if the ball stays in play, whenever the player who should be sent off touches the ball.
So the referee could have allowed Milan to score the goal, he does not necessarily have to stop play.

Let the crazy scenes not distract the fact that our new look lineup produced very little for an entire half. Still we rely on the same individuals to make a difference. Pioli really needs to have a playing style for the team where consistent results don't depend on Leao, Pulisic, Giroud, Theo.

How do you defend yourself against someone forcefully jumping into your jaw with their raised knee exactly? The keeper is just another player, he has no more right to do that to someone than anyone else on the field does.
