They even did some music for League of Legends a while back because they were such big fans of the game. They've mentioned that they make an internet connection a priority when they tour just so they can play. These guys have a lot of respect for people like Koji and I'm sure they were floored to get to perform with him.
I owe so much to Mr. Kondo. These games and songs are the soundtrack to a verry happy time in my life, and also got me through hard times. Basically, they touched my life in more ways than I can really quantify. Thanks for the music, it will have an impact on me forever!

So Koji Kondo is not a great pianist, but that doesn’t really matter, because he is an amazing composer. And to think that he single handedly composed all the music on the various video game projects he worked on from 1983-1994. The mere size of his discography is also very impressive.
I hate Imagine Dragons, but respect. Now Koji Kondo is an absolute Legend. Also hearing the A Link to The Past version of the theme always brings tears, but with him actually playing it is something else
I liked this, but it seems awkward and tacked together at last minute the way they kept switching between Kondo and the band playing. At times it looked like both parties were enjoying playing with each other, especially Imagine Dragon's singer looking like he was about to burst when Kondo started playing the Song of Healing. Overall, I wish this was more melded together and polished.

He hasn’t composed any significant amount of Zelda music since Majora’s Mask. Even with subsequent titles like Wind Waker, Twilight Princess, Spirit Tracks, and Skyward Sword, he only composed one or two tunes. Want the answer to your question? Just play any Zelda game after Majora’s Mask.
After completing ocarina of time, I merely played the game again just to listen to key songs in the various temples. I remember my brother just to go "buy the soundtrack"
