PvP is always toxic tbh. Played runescape. There's a study that shows you can keep making strength gains (since strength gains is of course is somewhat related to muscle gains) up to 69 years old (but I hardly doubt this is true, they most likely did this on old beginner lifters). I would say strength/muscle gains peaks off around your late 30s to early 40s (if you started training earlier). The first physical decay is power/speed which comes arond when the person is in their 30s, which is why sports like sprinting, footy, soccer, rugby, and olympic weightlifting are short-lived. But yes, it's rather unfortunate that strength/muscle is temporary before our bodies start decaying with aging.
