Hey Fed, Why do you think Patek so quietly changed the World Time 5230 dial from Hong Hong to Beijing? Not politics, right? How will this effect future value of the now discontinued “Hong Kong” Patek World Time watches?
IWC timezoner. It’s not displaying time in multiple time zones simultaneously but you reset the time in any of the main 24 time zones (including the zones that spring forward on daylight savings) with a twist of the bezel without even unscrewing the crown. Lewis Hamilton occasionally wears one when he’s traveling across time zones.
JLC Master Geographic and Nomos are home-time / GMT complications. To be fair, you aptly pointed them out in the vid. They tell time for two locations only. You can't see what's happening in other places at the same time. But great travel watches anyway.
I love and use for my work the Orient Star world time wz0031jc. I was lucky to find it and it is practical, beautiful and my favourite complications: World Time, Power Reserve and Date. It is the perfect WT: affordable, useful complications and reliable movement. It is a pity it was discontinued.
I've been looking at that watch really hard for a few weeks now. I've been using a discontinued all black Orient Journeyman CFA05001B for about 7 years now and it is a great watch for the money. On my job I'm always tracking three time zone and sometimes up to six during a day. The Orient Journeyman or your WZ0031JC type movement can't be beat for tracking all time zones at the same time. Real world time watches.
Frederico I would have added the Montblanc world time for the spectacular dial and the Vacheron Constantin oversees world time with an awesome movement which tracks on around 40 time zones ! The frederic constantin or Longines GMT are great affordable alternatives too...
Thx for another terrific video Federico. I am quite interested to see the new Glashutte Original Senator Cosmopolite world time. Love the way they approached the navigation of time zone names via the airport codes, including 15 min and 30 min offsets. Would love to get your reaction to this piece if you happen to get the chance.
Hi Federico. Thanks for your opinion. I like the Zenith Doublematic GP WW.TC and The JLC Polaris WT 2018 model. By the way; what is your wristsize? Thanks. Bart from the Netherlands.
i love the idea of the complication. but it always bug me when it displays another city in the timezone I’m in. For example, if I’m in Boston and it says New York. Even makes me nuts on a digital (e.r. G Shock).
Ball train master world timer gm1020d or 2020 ,I would love to know what you think of . I’m a big fan ,but yet shy , the reason I point out the ball is because I have one and I think is spectacular every time I compare to the other brands .
Hey Fed - Great video. Love the Patek also. I also like the Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum, which is really nice at a reasonable price. On a friend’s recoomentation to satisfy a worldtime itch, I picked up an Orient Multi-year Perpetual Worldtime. Never thought I would like such an inexpensive watch, but it was fantastic. Its automatic, has wordtime and a full month calendar display. Keep up the great content!!
Hey Fed, I’m glad GP made your list! I have the GP WWTC Shadow and always get compliments on it. Nice watch from a very underrated brand. I do like the Patek...I’ll wait for one to show up pre-owned on Delray...and I’ll try to hit the buy button before you do ;-)
Federico, I've been thinking about buying a world time watch but my biggest concern is that it cannot always be accurate as it will not automatically adjust for Daylight Saving Time changes in various time zones across the globe.
Love world time watches but I don't understand why so many do not have a date complication; not very practical unless one just likes the look of the world time complication but doesn't actually use it. In my opinion, the Breitling Transocean Unitime is excellent, except for the fact that the case is enormous.
Great video Fed. Sorry to go off topic, I’ve been out of touch for a while, but wtf is going on? I’ve been on the watchfinder site in the uk and air king’s are going above list......seriously? Wtf is happening?
The most unique of the class is the Louis Vuitton Escale World Time. The hand-painted flags filling the no-hands display set this apart from every other watch in the field. Of Fed's Top 5, it also tops the list in price.
Okay, before I leave a comment, let me just say that I am a watch newbie/noobie :3 But throughout the video I was hoping for the mentioning of worldtimers from FC, BnM, and Longines. In regard to the balance of beauty, legibility, and "neatness" I find them to be my top most aesthetically pleasing worldtimers :D THAT being said, I judged them on my aforementioned criteria of aesthetics and have no idea how they would perform technically :/
How do you feel about the Seiko, and Citizen worldtime watches? While i love the huate horology big bank brands, i will probably never play on that field, so id like to hear some opinions on watches for us plebs!
But they don't really work, do they? Because different countries switch to daylight savings time at different dates, the "distance" between London and New York is now five hours, but then on October 27 London moves off DST and the time difference becomes four hours.
OK. But even then, I have to know whether DST applies in whatever location I want to know the time in. So if I'm in London and I want to know what time it is in New York, I have to know whether at this point in time New York has already gone on (or off) DST.
+Yoav Nir, you're just not going to get that kind of function in a mechanical watch; i.e. when locations switch to daylight savings and back again. It's just not possible, and even if it were, daylight savings are subject to the whims of the prevailing legislature and so can be changed. I'm afraid you have to rely on the interwebs for that kind of info. Your mechanical worldtimer can only give you timezones and some guide to which ones commonly operate daylight savings.
My best world time is my phone as soon I get to the country I am traveling it start roaming I get the local time on my phone and my watch give me my home time.
I live by world time day by day usually tracking at least three time zone at the same time. I couldn't use a world timer that needs a button pushed or a crown turned. I need a mechanical for the reliability, I've had batteries die without warning in the middle of the day. Orient world timers do the job.
Hi Frederico, are you sure about that Patek invented the worldtimer feature? Found some Russian made wristwatches from a brand named Raketa with this complication, but they are made in the 80s. Best regards Thorsten
The Nomos is 39.9mm and among watch people (brand wise) I hear people talk about them a lot. GP on the other hand is massively under-appreciated which is a shame.
I like the vintage Tissot Worldtimer pretty much. Hard to find in good condition. www.chrono24.com/tissot/exceptional-18k-navigator-world-time--id2588687.htm#gref
Nomos is where the real value is. It's the cheapest in the list, new cost less than anything else on the list and it stil ticks all the boxes (unique, inhouse, build quality...). From some point of view, it's an ultimate Nomos, the best of breed. That being said, I wodn't recommend one for one very good reason, it is quite tall. And it's not just high, but it's the shape of the damn thing, which makes it wear like a 15mm tall watch. Very unpractical with long sleeve, especially when the style of the watch make it almost perfect dress watch (for rather often traveling businessman). Obviously is Nomos being tricked by its own "bauhaus nature", such a shame.
Nomos world time is hands down cut above the rest with the price in mind Clean design in house movement high respect for nomos Want more subscribers try connecting with your subscribers instead of a snob panzy attitude That's where TGV strikes a chord
Snob panzy attitude? Well I am sorry you feel that way. Unfortunately I cannot recommend a watch or praise it unless I truly feel it deserves praise. Its just not how I do things.

Love the Lange and the Jlc approach is very sharply done as well. They are all gorgeous. Nice job, Thanks Fed.
I own the FC World Timer that you mentioned and it is an outstanding World Timer.
JLC Master Geographic and Nomos are home-time / GMT complications. To be fair, you aptly pointed them out in the vid. They tell time for two locations only. You can't see what's happening in other places at the same time. But great travel watches anyway.
How about the Omega Aquaterra Woldtimer? Including the limited edition versions ?
5130G is my all-time grail, but really far out. So far i'm kinda convinced by the Zurich to get next...beautiful in blue
Breguet Hora Mundi. I really like the look
Yay! Thanks Federico! This complication is one if my dream ones, other than perpetuals!
I love and use for my work the Orient Star world time wz0031jc. I was lucky to find it and it is practical, beautiful and my favourite complications: World Time, Power Reserve and Date. It is the perfect WT: affordable, useful complications and reliable movement. It is a pity it was discontinued.

Thank you for not showing any world timers that have those hideous world maps in the middle. Love all of these picks!
Aww, I love those. Just got my hands on my grail, the JLC Master Geo in 38mm. Pretty pleased.
Fed, I love the Patek Philippe but I can't afford it. Therefore, I settled for Montblanc Heritage Spirit Orbis Terrarum UNICEF.
Frederico I would have added the Montblanc world time for the spectacular dial and the Vacheron Constantin oversees world time with an awesome movement which tracks on around 40 time zones ! The frederic constantin or Longines GMT are great affordable alternatives too...
The flute player reminds me of Chagall's work. Thank you. Good reviews.

Beautiful watch, three crowns is a lot though... I wanna see it in real life.
You should look it the non discountinued Seiko Ago Of Discovery World Time Alarm.
Hi Federico. Thanks for your opinion. I like the Zenith Doublematic GP WW.TC and The JLC Polaris WT 2018 model. By the way; what is your wristsize? Thanks. Bart from the Netherlands.
Federico... That creepy poster in the background of the guy playing the yellow flute, it's got to go!
Lol I love it. But I am indeed changing set very soon. You won’t have to look at it much longer
Its squidward
What about universal Geneva polar chronograph worldtime watch. Please tell about setting world time in this
My favorite ist the JLC Master Geographic. Dreamwatch 👍🏻
New vacheron 37 timezones . It does 1/2 hr zones by far the best
Love that JLC! Would have to say that is my favorite of this list. I have a couple of vintage JLC’s and they are amazing watches. Great vid as always!
Glad you enjoyed it Justin.
i love the idea of the complication. but it always bug me when it displays another city in the timezone I’m in. For example, if I’m in Boston and it says New York. Even makes me nuts on a digital (e.r. G Shock).
What about Breitling Galactic Unitime?
I love the jlc master geographic sector dial

Please do a world time pt. 2 of brands that didn't make this list.

Been binging the channel all day so... time to carry on😂 great video fed
Glad you enjoy the content alex :)

i realize it's kinda randomly asking but do anyone know a good site to stream newly released tv shows online ?
@Leighton Alberto flixportal
@Leroy Benjamin Thank you, I went there and it seems like a nice service =) Appreciate it!!
@Leighton Alberto no problem :)

Breitling Galactic Unitime. Very nice worldtime watch and worthy of this list.
Or Aviator 8 unitime which use the same caliber
Bro, what about the watch you once owned... Its a phenomenal Worldtimer and a huge value prop... The Eterna KonTiki GMT Worldtimer Chrono.
What would you keep Fed, A WWTC FTC rose gold or an AP ROO Safari. I have both and one needs to go.
The safari is the more well known watch and holds value. But I love the WWTC
So your choice?
WWTC, is what I would keep.
Montblanc HERITAGE SPIRIT ORBIS TERRARUM?
I absolutely love that watch as well!
Danyal Shah I was going to mention this as well. My brother has one
pr0jectSkyneT it's a stunningly beautiful watch especially for the price
My favourite in the affordable range.
i thought they made pens
How about the JLC Geophysic universal time?
Movement wise one of my favorites as well. I just can justify to price. I have an Orient with a similar world time function that works great.
I like the JLC sector version, nice video Fed...
Thank you Emad
Fed a little off topic here. But do you think now is a good time to buy a pre owned Breitling or wait for prices to drop lower?
they dont get any cheaper than right now.
Federico Talks Watches thank you 🙏

Baume et Mercier Capland Worldtimer is my favourite.
Many hate it, I love the Patek 5130 for gold, and Vacheron Constantin 2460 steel. (7700v-110a-b172)
NOMOS FTW IMHO
Not into WT complication, but enjoyed your video
Why is the Nomos not a real Worldtimer, but a GMT?
How do you feel about the Montblanc Worldtimer
Great video. What about the Hamilton world timer .
Great channel. I would Love to hear your thoughts on Dornbüth & Sohn
How do you feel about the Seiko, and Citizen worldtime watches? While i love the huate horology big bank brands, i will probably never play on that field, so id like to hear some opinions on watches for us plebs!
Helllo fed , do you deliver watches to Dubai?
We absolutely do!
The patek world time in rose golds a beauty. When’s the vid of the hulk coming. Can’t wait 😊
Sooner or later, I have been very backed up with my videos. Thanks for watching Sam.
Federico Talks Watches thanks for making the vids when I buy my watch prob a gmt or a sub I will buy from you. ( delray )
you are very kind Sam. Thanks for the support brother.

Very good question. Time for me to do some research.
Some world times have extra markings next to the names on the city ring to denote daylight savings, such as the JLC in Fed's list here, to aid you.
OK. But even then, I have to know whether DST applies in whatever location I want to know the time in. So if I'm in London and I want to know what time it is in New York, I have to know whether at this point in time New York has already gone on (or off) DST.

You didn’t mention Tim’s JLC Tides of Time limited edition. It’s an amazing world timer with an alarm.
Do brands pay you to say nice things about their brands or particular watches?
How about the Frederique Constant worldtimer?
Cool 116610LV!
My best world time is my phone as soon I get to the country I am traveling it start roaming I get the local time on my phone and my watch give me my home time.
Hmmmm not one for me the dials just look too complex. A GMT makes more sense and looks nicer, IMHO of course. They certainly are different though.
I live by world time day by day usually tracking at least three time zone at the same time. I couldn't use a world timer that needs a button pushed or a crown turned. I need a mechanical for the reliability, I've had batteries die without warning in the middle of the day. Orient world timers do the job.
Orient adventure it’s not a bad watch in this category, it’s just not that expensive.
No zenith doublematic, Fred? Big date, alarm, Worldtime too

too new, I have no experience with it.

why are u not talking about VC??? makes no sense
why is your beard brown and your hair black???
wish i knew...
Lmao the Casio AE1200 beats them all!!!!
Frederique Constant Manufacture Worldtimer
Do you like the CATALINA?
I dont know what that is.
Federico Talks Watches NTH Catalina designed by TGV!
Wait till Rolex comes with a WT...
Killer!
First. Get off RUclips and hug a mother.
You know I would never forget that! I wouldn't hear the end of it from my mom!
Isn't there a free world time app ?
Nomos world time is hands down cut above the rest with the price in mind
