    What is your most common trigger food?

    • @lifeofatruckerswife
      @lifeofatruckerswife 3 года назад +1

      Potato chips
      Cereals (any kind)
      Both of these I eat around 1-2 a.m ....while everyone else is asleep..

      @@lifeofatruckerswife Hehe love the honesty! At least you are aware of it. Have you tried avoiding these foods for a period, to break the habit?

      @@TorbsTraining I have, I've focused more on a protein rich diet and have tried diligently to cut out all triggering foods..I've actually lost almost 50lbs...but I have slipped a few times....I've actually been doing other things when the urge hits to binge...like watch RUclips videos, writing, reading...that's helped me a lot...but I have to be extremely careful and not allow myself to slip 2 much...I never want to go back to my heaviest weight...
      I've got a lot of life left to live, and things I want to do with my life....I cant do those things being constantly food focused..
      I really appreciate your content...new sub💜

    Thanks for this video! I applied this strategy when I was initially getting on my path of freedom from food addiction and binge eating but ultimately what freed me from binge eating and food addiction over a decade ago wasn't a food focused strategy like cutting out my trigger foods. It was in addressing what was driving me to food in the first place and getting free from that. Because once I did, the drive to overeat just went away.
