  • This week on Prof G Markets, Anthony Scaramucci, the founder and managing partner of SkyBridge Capital, joins the show to break down the fascism of Project 2025 and how a second term for Trump could become a totalitarian regime. He discusses why he thinks voters need to support Biden if he’s the Democratic candidate, but reveals who he thinks would have the greatest chance of beating Trump. He also shares some personal stories about what it was like to serve as the Communications Director in the Trump White House.

Mooch is more of a moderate which is where most Americans live.
    Regarding Project 2025
I saw this posted and sadly I believe that it may not just be hyperbole.
“A storm is coming, people. Let's not be caught off guard like other countries that are now run by fanatics. For instance, Iran in the '70's was a tourist friendly, free and open country with a robust economy, a rising film and music industry and nightclubs. Now it's a closed off theocracy where women have no rights and the government shoots it's critics without a trial. This is what Project 2025 will do to us.”

The irritating factor with Biden is the fact we (voters) could see last year he was ageing rapidly and knew it was time for him to pass the baton to a younger stronger candidate with communication skills !! We knew there was a good chance Biden would have some age event occur before the election. After 80 yo the likelihood of health events increases 10% per yr. Knowing that alone means that 4 more years is nearly impossible. We also if Democrats were to actually hold real primaries almost anyone could be beat Dotard as long as they were younger, articulate, & centrist. Instead Dems gave us the weakest candidate we cold possibly ask for in terms if communication skills & age.
If you cant sell yourself you can't win, I like Scott's idea, in fact I think it would be the best way to go from this point forward.

Nice to see Tesla crashing just as I saw the up 27%. Down 11% from the peak of today after, nobody saw it coming, the robotaxi is (obviously) delayed.

Melania met DT in 1998, married him in 2005 and gave him a son. 26 years later this speaks volumes. As a Canadian it matters not to me who wins your next election but I can say that even DT's ex-wives remain(ed) loyal to him following divorce. This also speaks volumes.

Loyal how? Neither Melanie nor the surviving ex-wife showed up to support him at his recent trials, not even the 34 count felony conviction. Melania doesn’t even show up for his birthday or when he arranged for her to get an award. Surely they have noticed his first wife is now in an overgrown plot on the backside of a golf course. They may like the benefits of the money he spends, but I don’t see real affection or desire to support him.

I search for scaramucci. I was not a fan of him when he was in the w h but, I love to listen to him. They way he compares movies to real life. The stories and the way he tells them. The street vibe mix with education. His insightfulness. I’ve heard people repeating his comparison to one flew over the cook coos nest and a weekend at Bernie’s. He should trademark that _hit!

Anthony Scaramucci is very well read on all these fascist types. I have seen him on different news outlets but man he unloaded some brilliant points. This is what we all need to hear more of. Great job!

When we talk about brands going vertical into dedicated retail, sure, that has existed in very bougie locations like Beverly Hills and Fifth Avenue for quite awhile. However, I have long opined one of the things that facilitated its expansion into the more modest suburbs was actually the lowly outlet mall, even though the outlet mall model itself has largely failed. Outlet malls were filled to the brim with stores that were focused on a single brand, and I think the brands discovered that yeah, shoppers seem keen on this, so these stores migrated into the regular malls and, of course, started charging even more because they didn't have to pretend to offer "outlet mall" discounts.
