I’m generally a pretty happy guy, but when I laugh out loud three times in one Closer Look, I know I’m watching one of the best segments on TV. Just have to thank you Seth and your writing staff for giving us all a bit of joy.
As someone that helps organize sanitary products for a non-profit for disabled and working income girls and women, we think "Tampon Tim" is a hero. Sanitary products are NOT an option for women and should absolutely be paid for by the government for those who cannot afford this "luxury". Thank you, Tim Walz: The women, girls, and trans people of MN know you stand by their needs!!
Yes! Every time someone on social media writes "Tampon Tim" meaning to insult us, I thank them for letting everyone know what a great guy Walz is, how he listened to women telling him that high school girls needed this. Yes, it's great for people who can't afford it but it's also wonderful for the average kid in high school whose periods are not all that predictable. I and most women I know remember the humiliation of suddenly starting your period while in school and scrambling to find a tampon or sanitary napkin.
The issue is - and as democrats pretend not to understand - is that tampons should not be in boys bathrooms simply to pander to the gender identity cult. I support Walz and Harris but the Dems need to step away from this lunacy that sterilises innocent gay kids and undermines women’s rights. There’s nothing liberal about it.
I can't take credit for this, but I saw on some video "They call him Tampon Tim cause he's gonna hold back the Red Wave."

There's a wonderful video on RUclips of Walz giving a speech in Eau Claire, Wisconsin where he stops in mid-sentence because he sees someone in the crowd suffering from the heat and he asks his staff to bring them water and first aid and he doesn't resume his speech until he is sure the person is OK. Now that's someone worth voting for! 💙

He is still that person , observant paying attention and appears to show his character caring compassionate sensible as it was very hot temperatures .
