I suffered a brain tumor of the right frontal lobe. Went under the Gamma Knife .. With in 6 weeks I became a different person.. Most were for the good. But my loss of fear is causing some issues. With no fear you will say anything to anyone. You know fire can burn you and that it is dangerous , but if you don't think about it first you could pick up a burning log and trust me you feel the pain just like anyone else.. If I could regain my fear I would.. Fear is a good thing
I have the exact same thing happening to me I had foot surgery about seven months ago and I suddenly developed a mental illness that’s very Unusual and complex
@@GuitarGaming345 What an odd comment. They did not say that the surgery caused the psychiatric condition, only that it seemed to be the trigger. Surgery can be a stressful and traumatic experience for anyone, and it may trigger or worsen some mental health problems in some cases. For instance there is Postoperative cognitive dysfunction. Just anesthesia alone is seen to trigger depression, mania, psychosis and of course post traumatic stress disorder. Be better.
You should get your surgical theater notes and make sure you didn't wake up out of a full knock out during. Not that you woke up and have memory, but our bodies have memories of trauma and surgeries are traumatic. I'd ask about it.
My daughter has epilepsy since age 13 has VNS implant and on meds gosh how I wish she could have surgery to help her unfortunately so far drs say she not a Candidate for surgery
That sounds like you were suffering with hyperthyroidism before surgery. Hyperthyroidism can cause stress hormones to be released, and one of the symptoms is irritability. I suspect after your thyroidectomy your thyroid levels were near normal for the first time. Interestingly: hypothyroidism (low thyroid levels) can cause depression but also anxiety as well.
This is huge for reversing trauma in patients that are not able to regulate their lives due to intense trauma It is too bad they can not perform this surgery in extreme trauma cases. Just that right amygdala that can be overactive or enlarged.
My father was one of the most put together intelligent people I knew, I looked up to him a lot, about 2 years ago he was in a car crash and landed under the water, he was without oxygen for alittle over a minute and a half give or take, after his wreck he was different, very very loud, very angry, very quick to violence, that’s not my dad, and while I’m trying really hard to be happy he survived, the father I always knew and loved isn’t there anymore, and he can’t come back. I in a way would have rather he died with me having an amazing memory of him rather than see him rot to what he is now, it’s extremely depressing.
Nah fr 😅 my brain 🧠 tumor made me realize who was real and fake 😢 and when god and my doctor brought me back to back life i got dignose with PTSD and epilepsy sezuire and psychosis schizophrenia and anxiety but im blessed to be here to Tell my story 🙏🏿 i just turned 25 April 17 i turn 23 in the hospital 🏨 god is good and real i can tell you the god honest truth 💯

The change was a result of surgery on his brain, your foot has no control over emotions

I know this isn’t the same but my anxiety and anger issues have gotten better after i got my thyroid removed from thyroid cancer.
