pulling that grill off is way easier than putting on a belt for certain. im digging her winch configuration, front bumper set up. well except your intended use for her stinger lol! so far i have been pleased with the option LED's, i am glad after Misty's disappointment, im not sure i could of handled that so well.

I see you have the American Adventure Lab High-Line Fender in the other jeep, me too ! they look so great, now I'm trying to install the Oracle Headlight Halo, but not sure what is the best option to connect to DRL, maybe using the Aux Switch or some kind of pigtail

I bought the opt-7 bulbs for my ram 1500 and love them once I got the capacitors installed . But yes I have heard nothing but bad reviews on the cougar motor led bulbs
They are the the 7inch with adaptor... curious to see how well they will compare to a 9in after I upgrade em 😂 people have good things to say about beamtech
Z71___ hikari were in the other jeep... were much better then these cougars... iv since put in a new led bulb.. the pattern is fuller now... bosela bulbs... I have a video on them also.. converting to an led bulb works but leaves more to be desired..

It's weird how the led bulb projects. I purchased 2 same brand sets on Amazon. H3's. In my 4runner they project great. In my Prius they project like total crap.
FYI when buying LED projector bulbs the beam pattern are made for headlights with projectors that have halogen in them you would have to look for halogen headlight LED bulbs one looking for LED bulbs for the JL. And the red rubber grommet you left in the headlight was from the previous bull if you notice the bulb you put in has the same red grommet
Thanks for the information.. and now that I’m watching I see what u mean bout the red grommet... I figured it was there to keep moisture out... which have not had any! 😂😂 these were advertised as a halogen to led conversion kit..
@JL Life Off Road To shed just a little more light here,for clarity....At the beginning,you mentioned they were projector leds. Projector refers to the type of headlight housing. You likely purchased led replacements,made for a projector housing. Jl standard lights are reflector type. An led replacement for a projector is different than an led for a reflector housing. They direct the light much differently. They may well have worked ok,in the right projector housing, but definitely look like a cheap flashlight through a milk glass, when used in a reflector housing:) I think this is what jorgiedee was getting at. There are so many types of leds,and they aren’t always brighter or better. It’s all about the pattern:) Keep up the great vids!!

I had oracle leds on my JL sport and they were awesome, great light pattern and excellent visibility compared to stock halogen.
Yea... Iv heard great things about them... high beam upgrade is what she going with next...

I really like the Beamtech bulbs for the halogen replacements. Are the new headlamps 9" or 7" with adapters.
They are the the 7inch with adaptor... curious to see how well they will compare to a 9in after I upgrade em 😂 people have good things to say about beamtech

They work great for mine, you installed the bulbs incorrectly 🙃
The body isn't adjusted properly. That is why you have that pattern.
Most LED's have adjustment needed.
