- Now that we've come to the point where FFBE nearing the end, I wanted to share with people who have been a part of this community how the process of playing ffbe, streaming, and doing videos has impacted my life. If you've ever wanted to know some Gerrtt Backstory or Gerrtt Lore, this is for you.

Thank you all for what you did for the FFBE community and sharing your personal life with us. Listening and watching you and other streamers talk FFBE over the last five years has really supported me. I can’t believe there’s going to be a day in the near future where I don’t get to hear folks talk about the weekly news and trials. Final Fantasy has been a big part of my life and I hope I get to continue with it and others.
Thanks for tuning in! It feels weird to not see news today and know why…
It is so clear that the community is strong on this game. I'm not part of any group but even as an outsider I can tell how strong and tight the community is. The game definitely should at the very least acknowledge the presence of people that makes guides like you. If there's one thing I hated about this game is that it didn't explain itself. You needed to have a wiki page in front of you to understand what just happened, or how mechanics work.
For my part I can only give you my appreciation for all the knowledge sharing and entertainment, and the like on the videos.
Hope all goes well in your life and that you find a way to keep connected with the group you're in. You seem like a good person so I can only wish you all the best.
Thanks bonkers! As for staying connected - I do have a personal discord so anyone who wants to stay in touch can there. You can keep watching videos and streams too!
What a ride. The tutorial videos were really valuable considering the game basically doesn't teach you how to do anything. Glad I found you guys. Even though I pretty much quit over the last year and some change, I still miss the community. Hopefully we all end up somewhere else. I've been playing that new game Emk mentioned and it's fun so maybe we end up there. Either way, we'll always have the memories! Here's to many more years of streaming, videos and sharing pictures of our food and drink on discord!
Also... as a former employee of an ISP, it's almost always your ISP.
Thanks dude! Don’t worry the community isn’t going anywhere:)
I’ll have to tell you that saga…it was ridiculous
Thanks for sharing, feeling like a trip down the memory lane. Good to know it's getting better for you over the years.
For me, one of my best friend gets me into the game. He ended up not playing anymore but i keep going, and this game has helped me a lot going through rough times. Even with all the issues, some small some big, this is still a wonderful journey. Even made more wonderfully because of the community content creator like you gerrts. I love watching the beige carpet.
Thank you gerrt for all your constribution to the community.❤
Thanks my dude!
Its been a joy interacting with you friend gerrtt84. Wonder how long you were my friend before I found out you had a channel! Maybe when the friend cap was low like 30!? I must have started playing just after the 1st anniversary because i don't recall it. My first group that I recall was Yang/Veritas of the heavens/Veritas of the water/Sandee/Ashteroze. Absolutely no idea what i was doing for so long. Just picked random characters/skills and got annoyed when it didn't beat rotating event content which was...often haha. Just liked a game that had final fantasy characters. I hope that there is a game some of the community attaches to that comes out soon that many of us can start together and just see what happens.
Feeling like there was a community helped me stick out to the end because I'd be the first to admit I wanted to hang it up several times over the years. I'm just stubborn and a creature of habit. FFBE has been a twice daily part of my routine. Part of me is going to be relieved its gone and part will miss it I'm sure. I still play a few games on my tablet and registered for a few upcoming.
What are you registering for?
@@gerrtt84 Currently play: Panilla Saga, Seven knights idle adventures, gran saga idle, and crystal knights 32 player raid.
Registered to: 25 Magic Knight Ln, Ash Echoes Global, and Age of Empires mobile. Possibly 1 or 2 more i forgot about that are set to auto install.
@Kainteeka sounds good!
I appreciate you so much G. Thanks for the videos, streams, and becoming one of my dearest friends of all times. I’m really proud of everything you’ve accomplished my dude.
I look forward to your new streaming adventures and I want to sincerely thank you for everything you’ve done for the community. Love you man!! 🥹🖤
No no - thank you!
We're sure gonna miss ffbe and u, no more tears *sniff
Appreciate your honesty in this video, some pretty harrowing stuff. Glad you came out the other side and are where you seem to be now. All I can say is if you wanna chat about anything you know where to find me x
Don't worry! I'm not going anywhere. Just probably playing something else.
It was ironically with me while i had the worst job I've had in my life so far. When my job came to a end the game showed the absolute signs of EoS. When I got my new job I saw it was official this game is on EoS. I'm bad with words so what I'm trying to say is thanks FFBE for giving me something to take the edge off for so long. And just like me finding a new job, maybe a new game will pop up
I can appreciate that for sure.
This game was my late childhood, lol. Currently I'm trying FF WotV, gonna be trying FFVII Ever Crisis after that. Got the og ff7 on PlayStation and ff10 and ffX-2 on Xbox. Not giving up on FF anytime soon, lol
Good deal!
Thanks, Gerrt, for everything. I like the way you think, identifying problems that haven’t been solved yet and teaching through them.
Thanks for the feedback!
Such a top bloke, wholesome, positive in the face of adversity, the Sandy Cohen of the FFBE universe.
Thanks for that :)
I'll forever be grateful for the game that let us be friends. Truly. You know well that I'm not going anywhere but the fact remains, a huge chapter in our lives is coming to an end. I'm glad I got to know you, bud.
100% I gotchu too brotha.
My dude, what a journey it has been. So grateful that you've shared yours with the community, and your presence here on YT these last few years has been a blessing. Always enjoyed your content, and as a fellow GamerDad, I can relate to your experience in many ways. I'm so sorry to hear about your family struggles, but I'm glad that you found solace within the FFBE community. May the Beige Carpet live forever in our memories, I had a blast on the few where I was able to make it and hang out with you. Wish you the best for your future! H7
Thanks so much for being a part of my journey too! I may be hitting you up on the chess app btw…keep an eye out!
@@gerrtt84 Definitely! I normally only play the bots because I don't have anyone that I normally play with there and playing with random strangers is hit or miss so would be great to have a friend 🙂
@SartreBraveX I’m gonna go all season 3/power of friendship on you! I play a lot of chess with kids in my office but I would say I’m just average.
But I whip the snot of out the kids I play with. My theory is “you want to beat me? Beat me.”
Very cool lookback bro!
Thank you for checking it out! And thank you for being part of the journey: wouldn’t have happened without you. As I’ve said many times over, the global player base would have been stranded without you.
The ad said ordinary people doing extraordinary things, thats you my guy,
Ironic even ..
You said everything i was thinking!
I remember having to wiki chain families to even get a chain, the content creators really did get us together and motivated, in their respectice styles ...heres for those wild adventures and discoveries,....
thanks for doing it!
Thanks brotato!
Thank you for the content and hope you find a new game to stream and make content on.
Just one thing - the silence during the transition is jarring.. I would suggest just continuously looping the ffbe theme song softly in the background even during that
Thanks for the feedback!
even as a beginner, i still getting affected by ffbe, ss2 was so peaked. Best story of all ffbe (even though i still on ss3)
Season 2 is goat. Season 3 is....yeah, we don't talk about season 3. If you don't have anything nice to say don't say anything.
@@gerrtt84 i mean although it is not good compared to the others, at least i love fina as a protagonist. Ss4 isn't give me the vibe that ss2 has provided. I hope ss5 can surpass ss2 as even ffbe jp can be eos at any moment in the future
I do read the story beforhand
@redvu3612 I don’t mind fina being the protagonist I just found the whole vibe silly.
Hi Gerrtt. Are you/have you saved your data in case of a off line version? Would you consider making a step by step on how to do that please?
So, the only method I would even know to direct you to is the tool used for the builder, and the builder has a pretty clear set of instructions.
I wouldn’t hold my breath for an offline version though.
@@gerrtt84 yea I'm not holding my breath LOL. If it ever did come around I think i would want to start over too. Thankyou Gerrtt
Same - because at this point I have every unit available and can get ex3 with zero effort. There’d be no point to just import that to an offline version because everyone would have the same units and gear at their disposal.
It would be too easy
8years is like 10% of a persons life. Anyone who says eos hasn’t affected them is lying.
Facts!
This is not the end, just shift into jp, that is the simple solution
You're really trying so hard!
