Dude... Putting China in A class instead of S class is already contentious, but placing it BEHIND India??! India MAY reach a state where this *might* be possible, but this is clearly going to take decades. One must be honest here: both military, economically and in terms of power-projection, China has clearly the upperhand.
Saying, in a speculative manner, "ah this may change in some decades time, so I'm putting them before China".... is....weird beyond normal logic. You either make a ranking of how it is NOW, or you do it as it will be in several decades... but you can't have it both. For NO other country, did you use speculation of how things might go in the future, yet you do for India. This just doesn't make sense.
I admire India and agree it has potential, but when making a ranking, one must remain realistic - and consistent, here.
I'm Indian and I agree with most of what you've written.

you can see indians in the comment arguing that china is s-tier we feel proud of our country that doesn't mean we don't know our geopolitical stand point
@@arcaakvira Right? I'm glad chauvinism doesn't trump realism. India certainly has potential to also become a superpower in the long run, but if one is being logical and realist here; now or even in the near future, they don't beat China. I mean, China has even surpassed Russia, except in the nuclear missiles domain.
I think the author of the vid did this on purpose, to introduce some contention and stir up some extra interest. But it's pretty clear that, China should be either considered the lower S-class, or the upper A-class.
Things may change in a few decades time, but since he didn't do this "futuristic speculation" for any other country, only for India - he's being disingenuous. What he basically is doing, is placing India speculatively how it might be in 20-30 years, between other countries how *those* are *today* . That's so nonsensically absurd, there must be an ulterior motive to it.

Indian here. I would place Russia and china above India for now. Maybe in next 10 years, (provided Modiji continues prime ministership) we will get much more powerful and would compete with China neck to neck. The real game will begin post 2040s when we will have 4 major blocks, Europeans, Chinese, Americans and Indians competing in a multipolar world.
Russia is definitely not at that level now, I hate to say it but the west has managed to reduce them to a Chinese vassal gas station with nukes.

No matter how large the Chinese navy is, their first and foremost concern is right off their coast. In the South China Sea to deal with Vietnam/Philippines/Malaysia and the US, and then in the Taiwan strait against Taiwan and the US, and then against Japan in the Ryukyu Islands and the Sea of Japan. The odd few research ships that reach the Indian Ocean are very small in number and can't get past India, Indonesia and Australia (as well as the US) without getting tracked and constantly spied upon.
On the contrary, Indian ships are free to sail the Open Indian Ocean without any restrictions or surveillance. India has it much better than China when it comes to naval access.

@woodoteth2803 that seems impossible to acheive, Russia is third and already has a 2.15 million ton navy while we only have a 608,000 ton Navy!, We have to surpass UK and Japan First

China lacks alliance plus have disadvantage in Himalayan region and definitely a weaker soft power but it have influential companies in Africa and south america , big economy , big population , big landmass and definitely control on semiconductor market . @@oxy2986 disadvantage in Himalayas region? I don't think so, I think it goes both ways, it's a double edged sword, but India has no real capabilities to invade China, unlike China who can invade India. I think it needs to be explained from three aspects: first, military influence, second, economic influence, and third, industrial capability. In addition to being stronger than China in terms of military strength, the United States is not as good as China in terms of economic strength and industrial capabilities. , In addition, industrial capacity can actually be transformed into military strength, so China should be stronger than the United States. As for Russia, Russia only has military strength, and its economic strength and industrial capacity are a piece of shit. Another point is that many of your data are wrong.
Russia? Russia had a CCC rated economy before the Russo Ukraine war. Military production might give Russia a short economic spike, but within three years its war will see its National Wealth Fund drained.

Aaron's analysis is on point. I see many in the comments (mostly chinese bots claiming to be Indian) crying that why didn't Aaron put China ahead of India or in the S tier but the truth is simple.
He explained it in the video itself. Tell me what did he say that was wrong? An economy that is slowly dying and depends almost all on its enemies, a military that can't project power outside of south china sea and even if they did attack Tiwan then their half of the population will die because of the oil supply cut off. They are surrounded by enemies and have border disputes with almost everyone. They fake their data and are an authoritarian state....why tf should they even be on the top of A tier list?
I would put China as S tier, behind US but still S tier. In my opinion they are the second superpower
But they're still missing an entire category of geopolitical power: the social/cultural influence aspect. They don't have any known music or groups, any type of professional sports spots, art, dance, and for the most part barely even movies who's influence or renown has spread across the globe in a culturally significant manner. That alone has to keep them from S tier.
China does not have geographical advantages the US has. Also they don't have the cultural projection or military projection capabilities of the US. The US has 11 aircraft carriers, China has 3. They have economic might and some scientific and technological might, and right now that's about it. Also, the US is energy independent. China has no oil and can easily be crippled by blocking off the Malacca Strait, which is how oil tankers get to China from the Middle East. It is also surrounded by several hostile nations (India, Taiwan, Japan, SK, Vietnam). The US is surrounded by Canada, a friendly ally, and Mexico, a critical trading partner, and two oceans. China has a severe demographic crisis, America doesn't (due to immigration).
I think China deserves a tier of its own above A tier.
But I also think the US just deserves a tier above China just because of its power in the UN, ties with many alliances, good relations with many great powers (S. Korea, Canada, most of Europe and more)

Use the correct map of India... And have my sub and all my respect... Rest of vdo is interesting
Weird list, really.
The three super powers (US, China, Russia) belong in the S-tier.
1) China is the industrial superpower that could outproduce the entirety of the West militarily if it so chose... much as the US outproduced Germany and Japan in WWII.
2) Russia is the world's 4th largest economy by PPP terms - a recent thing, as the IMF recalculated its formula); has the best air defense and military industrial base in the world (with the possible exception of China); is the world's largest producer of commodities; has the greatest number of nukes; and has extremely good relations with the Global Majority
The US, on the other hand: is reliant on obsolete military technology (aircraft carriers, and a huge number of obsolete aircraft); has hollowed out its industrial base; has completely destroyed its moral authority and soft power abroad due to its blatant support for Israel's genocide; and is in the process of seeing its financial supremacy fail as the world de-dollarizes at an accelerated pace.
Yes, the US is still powerful, but it is no longer in a class of its own.
And FFS, the UK as a A-tier power? With less than 100 working tanks and a flagship that can't leave port anymore? This was a lazy hack job.

Kudos to Indiafirst for actually replying with an intelligent comment.
Regardless, the fact that the world consists of three superpowers (with the US as the prime superpower, China as a close second, and Russia as a distant third) is not simply my estimation. Rather, it is the opinion of the world's most respected geopolitical analysts, such as Professor John Maershiemer.
I simply agree with him in this instance.
To address Indiafirst's points:
Diplomacy: India has sought to position itself as a leader of the non-aligned movement, with moderate success. This has not worked out for India as well as India would have hoped, especially in a world being divided between the West and the Global Majority.
Russia may indeed be on the outs with the West, but it has some very strong partnetships/alliances with China, North Korea, Vietnam, Belarus, Iran, and even India. These are allies that have demonstrated the ability and willingness to stand with Russia even in the face of intense pressure from the West.
India's allies lie on both sides of the global divide, and that is an enormous problem. India's foreign policy was formed during more naive times for India, and it is only now becoming clear to India that being an 'ally' of the US means being subordinate to the US in foreign policy matters, and being willing to sacrifice Indian national interests in favour of pursuing the US' geopolitical interests. Japan discovered this with the Plaza Accord, and Germany discovered this when the US blew up the Nord Stream pipelines.
Demographics: Demographics mean nothing if they can not be leveraged properly. China had excellent demographics under Mao, but is doing far, far better now with much worse demographics.
However, India's demographics may indeed be coupled with better industrial and economic policies in the future to propel India into the ranks of the superpowers. Hopefully that day will come sooner, rather than later.
Best of luck, India. Choose your allies more carefully though.

Which country has lifted 800 millions people out of poverty in only a few decades. Their industrial is such, that the advanced economies are now pleading it to slow its production capacity. These are a few of the foremost criteria to consider before making your classification. As regards demographic there are many solutions to address this issue and it is not an unsolvable problem.
India is definitely A tier but nowhere near the 'almost S Tier' you are mentioning. It's ok to love your country and being patriotic but c'mon, be a little more objective...
@@Rainbow_Task_1AI'm Indian I'm 100% agree with you, and you cannot win with India in comments section because we billion population 😂😂😂
@@KJ-kn2rzoh yea yea! U are so smart that u understand and agree to some random guy! Have u been to any western country?
@@richardlee-z9pBut can Those Countries People see that Loan as Good or Bad? Tell me on How much Interest does that nation give that to other nation's compare to IMF and World Bank you are saying facts but also misleading it into saying they are better just because they Give Money to Nation's, Bring out people out of Poverty and so on just as Exporter of goods this Crown is also not Stable Now it's that nation but who can say it would be still after 10 year's or 20 years because African Nation's and Many more Nation's are on Rise so what do you think They think a Nation more Agressive as lets put aside Government will people of those Nation's considered them as Someone that are not Agressive? If you ask a Random person from Southeast Asia, East Asia, Europe, America who they will consider as Agressive India or the country you supported right now?
Canada vs. Australia: Canada was called a Middle Power since 1960s. During WW2 it had the third largest navy in the world. Take this: Canada is the second largest country on Earth with the second largest oil reserves (after Saudi Arabia), and the largest (60%) of drinking water (thanks to the snow) in the entire World. Canada has 28 Nobel Prize winners (one of the highest on Earth) while Australia has only 14. Canada is also a member of G7 (Great Seven - a Club of most powerful western nations), NATO (the strongest military club of the Western nations), has strong diplomacy with the West. Canada's geography is much better and closer to the Global powers (USA, Europe, Russia and China) than Australia's (the middle of nowhere to be honest). Australia is not a member of G7, and not a member of NATO, plus has big problem of water shortage (due to the climate). Canada traditionally has strong manufacturing and industrial base while Australia has almost none. Canada is not a prominent power for sure, but it is definitely more powerful than Australia. Don't get me wrong, Australia is a wonderful country, but it is certainly not a power by any means, due to its small size, and can boast one of the highest living standards.
@aleck4490 Dude, you compared Italy and Mongolia when Italy is in G8, is a manufacturer power of the world and has a bigger GDP than Canada.
Australia is way better than Canada, economically and militarily
@@NoName-hg6cc Australia is tiny LOL. Its population is smaller than one Indian city's population (Mumbai). HA HA HA. It is definitely NOT a power. It has zero (0) industrial and manufacturing base. Australia only has one metro system in Sydney which it opened only in 2022 (one of the last ones to do so in the West, and it's not even underground system) LOL What a joke lol. It mainly sells natural resources (coal, uranium, etc.), and doesn't produce any manufacturing products, has very fragile economy (most real estate bought up by the Chinese) LOL. So yeah it is a joke. Not a power by any means.
@@aleck4490 Australia is a continent bigger than Canada LOL
It has a GDP per capita bigger than Canada.
It is an economic power, both in textile and services.
If Australia is a joke what is Canada then?
@@NoName-hg6cc What a Dork! LOL. Canada is 9.9 million sq.km, and Australia is just 7 million sq.km. I suggest your check your geography and your head as well. GDPR per capita is slightly bigger but comparable to Canada (GDP per capita (PPP). Besides, high GDP per capita doesn't define a superpower. You are a joke who doesn't know basic geography LOL. Australis is smaller than Canada in every possible way: and is not an economic power. Check you head.
Placing Turkey and Japan in the same tier is absolutely unhinged.
Japan is a puppet state of USA, and one of the fastest declining countries on earth.
@mortimersmithsr2522 Japan is far stronger than turkey militarily and economically also culturally
Kashmir is part of Bharat and Arunachal too. So, Everything fine, But please use correct "Indian Map" Thats all 🙏🏻🕉🇮🇳
19:46 what's this mannn!!! you put a very very wrong map of BHARAT (INDIA), it's totally unacceptable
what will you do if someone shows wrong map of a part of your home that too is illegally occupied??
France is a tier and got its ass just kicked out of Africa lol.
Right on. They've turned into a joke. France will never be A tier under Macron.
