  • Turkey has a potential to rise as a global superpower by the 2030s. With the second-largest military in NATO and a strategic location bridging Europe and Asia, Turkey is perfectly positioned to become a major player on the global stage.
We'll explore the driving forces behind this transformation, from the country's historical significance and diverse alliances to the controversial leadership of President Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Under Erdogan's guidance, Turkey has seen significant economic growth and a shift in political power, echoing the historical grandeur of the Ottoman Empire.
Join us as we uncover the factors propelling Turkey towards unprecedented influence and ask the critical question: Could we witness the emergence of a new Ottoman Empire?

I am a Greek, but I think Turkey has an intelligent national strategy. I really hope my country learns something from Turkey. I also aknowledge the fact that Turkey stands in the right side of history in the conflicts of our time, especially in Gaza, were my country Greece, shamelessly supports the crimes of the Israelis.

Btw there are 3x older and higher pyramids in asia than those in africa or Else america balkan etc...its all türkish origin like their languages and alphabet and Religions. This is pure türkish. People today dont know the meaning of türk and think its a ethnic😂😂😂😂 türk is much more than a folk or ethnic lol😂😂😂 A "MAN" WILL DIE BUT NOT HIS IDEAS❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ ALLAHU AKBAR.

Just a made up Story from the row not raw...as they teached us who they(j*w) are; the choosen one ..hahahhaha zahahahahha the chooosen with holy land..😂😂😂bro talking about türks but against türks, this is freeeeeeemason ideology.
Freeemason means freeewaller, this is their ideology their dream their goal their Mission; TO BE FREE FROM THE WALLS..WHICH WALLS? etruscan turci Toscana rasena Remus Romulus walls with TÜRKISH RUNES.....ALP mountains south GERMANY Till north to scandinavia everywhere TÜRKISH RUNES TÜRKISCH LANUAGE AND TÜRKISH SOUL. EVERYWHERE. Go to Thailand see. Go to australia see. Go to america see. Everywhere even origin of Hieroglyphs are this türk culture origin. Türk meaning has 0to do with ethnic or region.
Türk means those who believe to god, this is a culture lol...they made pictograms on WALLS imagined and explained on WALLS their culture and Lifestyle TÜRK..later from pictograms pictures of animals and humen on WALLS many Million even bilion pictograms and runes are outside there Go take a walk see, feel the Power of reality which god gave us, in which we trusted God for and got rewardet from god for god. Allahu akbar. We are türk, not turk turci turkic or usbek kazak azeri...we are türk. European do this on purpose turk turkic etc trying tl split and hide and delete türk but its gods plan, not the plan of a group of people who are against humanity(türk).
And btw oldest pictograms 40.000years old türkistan central asia and oldest runes same region but 40.000-15.000years first runes were seen and made, so since 15.000years are runes alife, millions, you can even follow from pictograms pictures on walls from animals and humen and later when they became to runes you can see how they used the parts of those pictures and motives example the HORNS OF AN BULL is the Letter "K" today in latin alphabet...in türkish the word is still same; "öküz" but with migration came dialect and later New individuall language like german "ochse"=öküz...this is europe. This is everything you know and dont know, its türkish. And when we will learn this all than Armageddon will start, not cause of evil türks crying😂😂😂 no thank god not. Armageddon will start cause of these Euro Dollar freemason ziionists realising their final loss and start Attacking everything and that should be a mass as i can just imagine.. but it will pay of❤😢😊
I wrote this all for all, not only for a MAN; aMEN=AMIN...MIN is türkish dialect of central türkistan Till north to yakutistan but if you go Western like azerbaycan its called "MEN", in türkiye türkish dialect its "BEN"....somewhere they put a suffix eklemation extra Word for more meaning like; woMAN. süyleMAN, osMAN, ayMAN, türkMAN, iMAN this MAN.... huMAN in english...but german = MENsch means huMEN in english/german.............and later german estashed their first empires in europe cause german is one of latest who came to europe..lol😂 gerMAN...alMAN....you feel me slowly but surely right...? Later than german git smarter etc. And used= ME, MY, MINE, MEINE, SEINE...or "i MEaN" in english..but german is; ich MEiNe ..MEN MEN MEN MANY MEN .....TRDY TO STEAL MY MENEMEN...OOOOOOO MANY MAN ....OHH A MAN WILL DIE..BUT NOT HIS IDEAD❤❤❤TÜRK TÜRK TÜRK, THIS IS WHY TÜRK IS SPECIAL TOO CAUSE ITS NOT A ETHNIC, NOT BASED ON MEN LOL, TÜRK IS THE MIND OF THE KING OF KINGS OF MEN....ITS THE PURE WILL IMAN. TÜRKHAN TURAN GO READ THE KURAN. RUNES DONT LIE DONT BE SHY GO READ...
OKUL is türkish Word means; OKUL=ecole=school=Schule...latin french german english=türkish. Just cause 1word?😂😂😂 bro every Single Letter ever everywhere anytime always is and was türkish origin. Just a few created their own alphabet System like most of Hieroglyphs hidden secret language for the elite back than which we never will read probably...and we dont need that Part anyway😂
I could write so much more but nobody reads, but they hate Islam KURAN TURAN...no councidence btw..all work of freemason and their side effects..😂
YOU WANT THR TRUTH? ITS OUTSIDE THERE IN THE NATURE, GO TAKE YOUR TRUTH IN YOUR HAND AND READ IT WITH YOUR OWN EYES, WHO WILL HOLD YOU ŞAŞARIM...😂😂😂😂😂
So the silkroad=Seidenstraße or how we türks call it; WOLFGANG= way of wolve...Gang means way in german, not group lol.

Great video, but you've got some mistakes. The Ottoman Empire didn't lose every war against Russia.
    1. Second Russo-Turkish War: This was more of an Ottoman victory, even if some sources are trying to sit on the fence.
    2. Fourth Russo-Turkish War: Another clear win for the Ottomans, but somehow you missed that.
    3. Fifth Russo-Turkish War (Austro-Russian-Turkish War): This one was a draw, not a defeat.
    4. Crimean War: The Ottomans with allies.
    5. World War I: Russia had the upper hand early on, but in the end, the Ottomans regained their lost territory after the Russian Revolution. That’s a strategic victory.
And another thing, I counted 12 battles between these two, not 17. When did the other 5 battles happen (no multiverse). You should double check such events next time.

Turkey is currently struggling with huge corruption, incompetence, a government disconnected from the people and injustice. Inflation is at terrifying levels. It is almost 10 times higher than even Russia and Ukraine, which are at war. State authority has weakened. Those who govern the state are immersed in ideological obsessions. Everyone except a happy little rich minority is in economic crisis. And this wealthy group of people is getting more than the share of the whole country every day. While the people are struggling with taxes, the rich do not pay taxes. No country in this situation can be a superpower. If Turkey continues like this, its end is dark.

There are only 4 companies in the west able to manufacture jet engines. The development of the jet fighter engine is on the way. This is huge breakthrough for the Turkish defense industry. Today even China is not able to manufacture helicopter engines and buys them from Russia. The development of unmanned fighter jets Kízilelma and Anka 3 are going to reshape the global defense industry. Development of highly advanced AESA radar system is another breakthrough.Sofisticated Development of electronic warfare systems, air defense systems, aircraft carriers , submarines, tanks and tank engines and transmissions, satellites etc. Imagine when Turkiye starts to export this systems and creates its own sphere of influence in the world.

Let me clarify some facts about the economy. Turkey is a country with a very strong fourth-generation industry. However, due to the ongoing conflicts around it, this power is currently being entirely invested in the defense industry. Additionally, the global economic downturn has affected Turkey as well. Turkey aims to keep imports low by gradually devaluing its currency until it reaches a period where it can focus on production. This approach will also reduce external debt and increase Turkey's export items and export power. This process will continue until Turkey feels secure, which is expected to be by the end of 2025 or the beginning of 2026. After this, the goal will be to implement production-based growth and initiate the fourth-generation industrial revolution. Once this is achieved, all our goals will be accomplished, and the rest will follow seamlessly. Our first task will be to establish a military and economic union with the Turkish States Organization, and then to integrate this with the Islamic world and Africa. As we always say, "A new world will be built, and Turkey will find its place in it." If it’s not built, we have the strength, power, and determination to build this world ourselves.

    Aaron,
As a Turkish, I found your perception of Turkey somewhat romantic and certainly lacking of reality. It is true that Erdogan has been in power more than anybody else during the republic era, and it is true that we had some good days in the early realm of Erdogan. But, look what is domestically happening in the country. We are poorer than 20 years ago, there is greater polarisation in the country between various groups (ethnically, religiously and ideologically). We have a great problem with asylums who are not recorded in the country. There is no country in the Europe who has that level of "uncontrolled asylums". The rule of law is not trusted anymore by many people in the country. Our credibility in the developed country is lowered down. Our foreign policy does not have strong and consistent policies and principles. It changes every year based on what is happening around us. Erdogan's foreign policy is based on black-mailing (asylums e.g). Turkish citizens can't freely travel in Europe, EU is no longer in our radar screen. Arap world is seeing Turkey as a flee-market where they can buy things (companies, land, etc) bargain. We are a NATO country, flirting with Russia. Are you kidding that we are a great country again? I am not convinced.

Turks were a minority and after the invasion you brought turks from the mainland Turkey to Turkify the Northern part of Cyprus. Look at Famagusta, a place that used to be developed and thriving now it's a ghost city. There is no such thing as PEACE OPERATION. You committed crime. It's in your blood! 3 genocides against the native christian populations of Anatolia (Assyriasn, Armenians and Greeks), the destruction and burning of Smyrna because the majority of the population was Greek, not to mentuon the Greek Pontic genocide, where more thatn 300.000 Greeks died. There is nothing peaceful about you and we know its very well. The fact that you converted the greatest Christian Orthodox Cathedral into a mosque, says a lot on how much you respect other people and other religions. Cyprus should be a free country, the turkish army should be removed completely and just let them be. At least admit to your crimes and appologise. Any person that steals something from someone else, they will always lose it and they will get punished in the end.

Türkiye is a Northern Eurasian land, not in the Middle East. It is in Balkanatolian tectonic plate that extends all the way to Balkans and to Austria. This is the recent scientific study. Middle East is an ugly made up term by colonial British Empire for divide and conquer .They did not have enough scientific developments in 1800's, when they made up this term. Türkiye is full of water falls, rivers and has numerous forests, temperate climate, meaning has 4 seasons. It has NO deserts.Snow is a common thing in Türkiye. Türkiye has many ski resorts. Women can do or be whatever they want in Türkiye. There are numerous famous women in all sectors. Turkish progressive culture has total commonality with Greek culture, Balkans and Caucasia. Objections to the narrative:
    - the lira has lost 98% of its value under Erdogan despite his attempts of reform, making it toilet paper and giving Turkey a reputation of economic mismanagement
    - recent data shows that Turkey’s fertility rate is sinking very fast and is only average thanks to the Kurds, this means serious trouble in 2 generations from now
    - Anatolia is not nearly as significant as the video tries to portray it for trade between Europe and Asia nowadays
    - Turkey’s military is large but not as advanced on average as the video would like you to believe
    - the video contradicts itself multiple times: stating that Turkey is strong because they are allies with nato and Russia, then stating that nobody in nato likes Turkey and that Russia is weak.

      I'm Turkish, here's my response:
      - you're right about the first part, but only partially. The other side to that economic coin is that of increasing production capabilities, especially in military and energy sectors, relatively low national debt to GDP, leaving lots of cushion room to use debt as leverage, as well as a comeback of the tourism industry after Covid
      - I'm not sure about the fertility rate, so I won't comment on this one.
      - with globalism, you're right that Anatolia is not as important as before. However, 2 things come counter to this idea: the first is that things like natural gas have to go through Anatolia or at least Turkey's maritime borders, giving them an edge with physical goods, like before globalism; the second is that the world is trying to move away from globalism (in the sense of multinational corporations) and instead towards trade between corporations of different states (i.e. multipolarity, of which the rising BRICS is an important indication)
      - you're simply misinformed about Turkey's military sophistication. I'd suggest a bit more research here
      - Turks, from the time of the Göktürks, to the Seljuks, to the Ottomans, to the Republic and nearly every other Turkish nations in between, have always walked this tightrope between east and west. And from over a millenia of experience in this, Turks will continue to have roller-coaster relationships with both the east and the west, and will be opportunistic when these controversies happen. They've always done that. The fact that Turkish nations have always been exceptionally well-balanced in their east vs west politics, playing and taking advantage of both sides, is what made Turks a permanent nation of the middle east and Anatolia. Before, they were primarily only in the eastern Steppes.
      I appreciate the intellectual bout.

You said that it doesn't make sense for the 2016 coup to have anything to do with the US, but we shouldn't ignore this fact. In the 8 years that have passed, not a single investigation has been conducted in the US or the EU against hundereds of people who directly participated in the coup, including the ringleaders. Despite the deaths of more than 300 people and the wounded of around 1,500, they continue to live as they wish in Western countries. Despite all the evidence against them, not a single person has been extradited to Turkey, not a single person has been tried in court. NOT A SINGLE PERSON.
We should also not forget the implicit and explicit embargoes that have been going on for years in relations with the West and NATO. Moreover, these are embargoes implemented by NATO partners that Turkey is said to be distancing itself from. Add to this the tens of billions of dollars in financial and military equipment aid that both the US and the EU have provided to the PKK, which is a terrorist organization even according to their own laws.
Who needs enemies when you have such friends?

While this is a well-balanced video, it has typical fallacies of Western views, especially regarding Turkey's contribution to NATO. Never in the history of its participation has Turkey backed down from NATO duties. Even when other nations contribute little, Turkey always participates in wartime and peacetime operations. They closed the entrance to the Black Sea, and as a result, Russians could not reinforce their Black Sea fleet, the consequences of which are clear now. They provided weapons to Ukraine while western allies were dragging their feet. Turkish drones changed the flow of the war by providing crucial offensive capability during first few weeks, forcing Russians to stop their advancements. Turkey 2 facilitated recent hostage exchange with Russia and several NATO countries which Biden took credit for bringing 3 hostages back home, yet the Turkey's role in this success was conveniently ignored by many governmental and media sources.
Turkey's contributions to NATO are substantial and multifaceted. As part of NATO's Very High Readiness Joint Task Force (VJTF), Turkey has committed significant resources, including a brigade of approximately 4,000 troops, ready to deploy within days. Turkey hosts critical NATO facilities, including the Allied Land Command (LANDCOM) headquarters in Izmir. The Kürecik radar station in Malatya province, part of NATO's missile defense system, provides an invaluable view of skies over Iran and Iraq, no doubt extensively used by the USA during Iran's attack on Israel. Incirlik airbase hosts US nuclear weapons, which make it one of the few host nations agreed to this.
Turkey has been actively participating in numerous NATO missions and exercises. For instance, in Operation Sea Guardian, Turkey contributes naval assets to NATO's maritime security operation in the Mediterranean. In the Resolute Support Mission in Afghanistan, Turkey was a key contributor, providing troops and leading the Kabul Regional Command.
Turkey always provides air patrols over Baltic countries even if its own F-16 fleet is aging due to American sanctions enacted by foreign lobbies in Congress, despite it being against American interests. Just in the F-35 project alone, one of the reasons for the aircraft being expensive is America's decision to remove Turkey from the program, causing not only the loss of Turkey's experience in cost-effective operational policies but also low-cost/high-quality parts delivered on schedule by Turkish companies.
Turkey provides ships to NATO maritime task forces year-round. Its sea drones are really the only ones in NATO countries that perform efficiently in adverse sea conditions and are used in NATO exercises to learn more about their potential. This is despite NATO disappointing Turkey on several occasions in recent years.
When Turkey shot down a Russian plane within its borders, American and German Patriot batteries left the country soon after when they were most needed (at least Spaniards and Italians volunteered to take over their duties). Turkey is embargoed on minute details, be it defensive RAM missiles for its corvettes, small electrical motors, or large systems like Eurofighter (by Germany) and F-35 (by America). Note that Lockheed Martin officials were saying the American version of the Turkish SOM missile, which would have been the primary cruise missile for F-35, was far better than the Norwegian alternative currently used, causing not only more money but also less efficiency in American defenses.
Now, a significant point of tension. On July 4th, 2003, in Sulaymaniyah, Iraq, U.S. forces detained a group of Turkish special forces in what became known as the "hood event" or "bag event." This incident, where Turkish soldiers were led away with hoods over their heads, caused a major diplomatic crisis between Turkey and the United States. It occurred on America's Independence Day, adding to its symbolic impact.
This event created a rift between CENTCOM and Turkish armed forces. While the US's EUCOM had excellent relations with Turkey (as America put Turkish military relations in that command), and its military commanders had a good understanding of Turkey (just listen to Gen. Ben Hodges), CENTCOM's actions were perceived by Turkey as treating it like an adversary nation. On top of that, the last but most important factor is the USA's support of YPG in Syria, which Turkey rightly sees as PKK's Syrian arm. So here USA is telling Turkey it's not being a good boy in NATO, yet it is supporting an organization it declared as a terrorist organization, albeit under disguise.
I hope you can make a video on how NATO and Turkey relations went sour, and why.
