It doesn't give me the triangle to expand or collapse my headings when I create a heading, I am using word 365 version 16.70, can someone please help me I would really appreciate it :)
@@saleharana7106 When you select the View Tab and the navigation pane option, does it show your headings in a list? If not, your heading styles are not based on the preloaded one. That might be the issue. If you have used the preloaded stryles I am not sure what the issue is unless I can see it.
thanks! 1. how do i make a bigger spacing between paragraphes but *not* between the paragraphes and the text within them? 2. how can add some text between paragraphes that would still show when they are collapsed?
Go to modify style and change the spacing, right click on a style to get into modify. Not sure about the second question. You could mark it as a heading styl;e and not collapse that line
@@ITsEasyTraining1st thank you for wanting to help! i found an answer for the 2nd question: creating a continuous break between them (in the layout). and i`ll make the 1st question more clear: i meant how do i make a bigger space between two headings (when they are collapsed), without making a bigger space between the heading and the text in it`s section?
When I collapse the headings they will overlap and I can't expand them because all the arrows are on top of each other (the collapse/expand option if i right click is not showing either). Someone know how to fix it ?
It is just way to collapse a document after you add a heading style. You are seeing only the headings, all the text is hidden until you expand the headings again.
How to collapse paragraph, expand text in Word. Check out courses ar www.itseasy.co.uk
FYI this feature is unavailable on Word for Mac
A lot of features are unavailable on a Mac

I have the same problem :/
Are you using heading styles?
You must use heading style in Word to be able to collapse a paragraph
Yes I am using heading styles - I’ve tried all the heading styles and still not working. Have tried absolutely everything 😢

I like this
Thanks
Thanks for this
My pleasure!
You didn't show how to add the collapsibility in the header style! Is it built in to Header Style 1?
Yes it is
Thank you so much my report is going to look top notch haha
Best of luck!
This is good but when I do it, I can't like end it. I only want a certain part to collapse. Is there a way to define the area which will collapse?
Nor unless its a heading style
Very good and quick
Thanks
When I collapse and save, close and open the document back up... the collapsed portion is open again. Any way to change that?
It will do it is only live aid
thanks!

I think you explained well. But I don't understand 😅

@@ITsEasyTraining1st I got it. Thanks
A lot of rambling bro... Stay on the point listed in the title. Thanks for your time however for effort.
