The fact the father was calm the first time is amazing. They put my son on the wrong bus once and I raised hell cause I had no idea where my son was. The high schoolers were surprised there was a child still on a completely different bus and a couple of them entertained him and informed the driver and school that a child was still on the bus. the school told me and I left the school drove to where the bus was. Those high schoolers were awesome really wish I had some cash on me to give them, cause they kept my son cheerful when he had no idea where he even was until I got to the bus's location and got him.

Classic fucking school teachers. When I was 7 I had a gym teacher bully me multiple times throughout the year and when my father found out about it he broke through their front door right in the middle of supper and gave him only 1 warning to fuck off. Most school teachers where I'm from don't get out into the real world and experience what life is really like. They are babied, well took care of by the government. From child to adult they've been stuck living in the whole school system and clueless, I have had a few great teachers in my time but most of them from my personal experience have been trash.

After 4pm it goes in the hands of police. You can't expect teachers to hang around the school all night babysitting. They're obligated to stay there until 4pm which is 1-2 hours after school lets out.

Yep I experienced education neglect multipal times I was severly bullied by teachers and peers and i was being physically/verbally emotionally abused at home and the schools/hostpitals/therapists swept my issues and the bullying under the rug and fucked up my future and my IEP'S and dropped the ball on me multipal times and i even told a school psychologist about the abuse but his words were "dont worry its not abuse as long as its not physical" and made the mistake to email my abusers about his concearn for my safety and well being mom read it outloud and dad hit my head and they cussed,screamed at me for it and lied saying they never beat me and that they only took away my phone wich was a lie! The next day i wore a sweater to hide my tears and shakiness and had to act as if i was a liar and avoided everyone in school so CPS wouldnt go to my home wich has happened alot when i was a child Im still being abused and bullied

Wholeheartedly agree. It's happened to me on a number of occasions as well. Luckily I have flexibility at my job to take off and head to school, but it wasn't always like that. There were several times in the past, when I couldn't have been able to take off and leave. So I know how much of an issue this can be, not to mention it deteriorates your trust in the school as being the responsible adults looking after your children. All my children are grown now, but I have grandchildren, and I couldn't imagine if this would happen to either of them. Way to hold the school's feet to the fire sir. He was actually calm compared to the reaction he could have had.
I say more power to him, too. He's angry, and he SHOULD be angry! You should be able to trust a school with your children, when they get onto a bus to go and get an education. School officials should care about kids enough, to never let this happen. As in, EVER.

I remember when my son who has autism was around 5 or 6 (he's 20 now) the school he was going to lost him on a school excersion (or field trip as you say in the US) to a bird sanctuary. They knew about his autism and he had been assigned an education assistant (EA), however their excuse was the EA called in sick so he was left unattended. They eventually found him in a playground 2 streets away, I asked him why he wandered away, he said he saw one of the birds got out of the averies and went after it bring it back (in actual fact the bird was a wild pidgeon and not a sanctuary bird, but he didnt know that). I was really angry much like this Dad was, I ended lodging a formal complaint and the couple of teachers and officials were formally reprimanded (not fired, but a red mark on their record). A few months later we took him out of that school and put him in a special needs school where he was much happier. I salute this man for being his kids protector and defender, nobody messes with our babies.
@@Dragon81205 he was assigned an EA prior but the assigned EA called in sick the day of the excersion. They claim they didn't have time to get a replacement. My response to that is still the same 15 years later, there were 5 teachers, 2 EA's (assigned to other kids), at least 4 or 5 parent volunteers plus staff at the sanctuary, so there's no excuse for the lack of supervision. In the end the investigation found many protocols and procedures weren't followed, hence the reprimands. Just thinking about it now makes me angry.

I experienced education neglect multipal times
I was severly bullied by teachers and peers and i was being physically/verbally emotionally abused at home and the schools/hostpitals/therapists swept my issues and the bullying under the rug and fucked up my future and my IEP'S and dropped the ball on me multipal times and i even told a school psychologist about the abuse but his words were "dont worry its not abuse as long as its not physical" and made the mistake to email my abusers about his concearn for my safety and well being mom read it outloud and dad hit my head and they cussed,screamed at me for it and lied saying they never beat me and that they only took away my phone wich was a lie!
The next day i wore a sweater to hide my tears and shakiness and had to act as if i was a liar and avoided everyone in school so CPS wouldnt go to my home wich has happened alot when i was a child

Wholeheartedly agree. It's happened to me on a number of occasions as well. Luckily I have flexibility at my job to take off and head to school, but it wasn't always like that. There were several times in the past, when I couldn't have been able to take off and leave. So I know how much of an issue this can be, not to mention it deteriorates your trust in the school as being the responsible adults looking after your children. All my children are grown now, but I have grandchildren, and I couldn't imagine if this would happen to either of them. Way to hold the school's feet to the fire sir. He was actually calm compared to the reaction he could have had.

I remember when my son who has autism was around 5 or 6 (he's 20 now) the school he was going to lost him on a school excersion (or field trip as you say in the US) to a bird sanctuary. They knew about his autism and he had been assigned an education assistant (EA), however their excuse was the EA called in sick so he was left unattended. They eventually found him in a playground 2 streets away, I asked him why he wandered away, he said he saw one of the birds got out of the averies and went after it bring it back (in actual fact the bird was a wild pidgeon and not a sanctuary bird, but he didnt know that). I was really angry much like this Dad was, I ended lodging a formal complaint and the couple of teachers and officials were formally reprimanded (not fired, but a red mark on their record). A few months later we took him out of that school and put him in a special needs school where he was much happier. I salute this man for being his kids protector and defender, nobody messes with our babies.
Wait so the school did know that the EA was sick but they didn’t get a new EA for the trip?
@@Dragon81205 he was assigned an EA prior but the assigned EA called in sick the day of the excersion. They claim they didn't have time to get a replacement. My response to that is still the same 15 years later, there were 5 teachers, 2 EA's (assigned to other kids), at least 4 or 5 parent volunteers plus staff at the sanctuary, so there's no excuse for the lack of supervision. In the end the investigation found many protocols and procedures weren't followed, hence the reprimands. Just thinking about it now makes me angry.
