- On 8/24/2023 Newport & Narragansett Bay Railroad's new 80 tonner made its way out of Selkirk, NY and into Massachusetts on the way to Rhode Island. It is seen here on a flatcar on CSX M436 passing through East Brookfield, MA. Stay tuned for when it is in service pulling the Newport & Narragansett Bay Dinner Train in Portsmouth, RI.

wait so is N&NB retiring or changing what trains 43 runs I hope they dont cuz i love that 44 tonner and its horn is as close to how conrails diesels sounded and id hate to see it sidelined

The 80 tonner will now be the main power and 43 will be back up
