Dean Martin is my favorite singer, ever. And Ethel Merman was great also. Started listening to them with my mom. ❤

She is stunning in that gown! I don’t know why people would say that she wasn’t a beauty. I thought she was gorgeous, and the talent goes without saying, she is a marvel a one off, national treasure, that could sing us to the stratosphere!!!

Ethel Merman could really belt out a tune. Love Dean Martin. I've been collecting all his music TV shows and movies for over 50 years now. First saw Ethel in It's a mad mad mad mad world! She was wonderful here and in that movie.

Ethel and Dean are a fantastic pair! I love it when they sing SMALL WORLD together. What a great bit of show business magic! Ethel's gown is marvelous. This is probably the most complete version of TOGETHER WHEREVER WE GO that Ethel ever put on tape. One of the great assets of THE DEAN MARTIN SHOW was the wonderful, wonderful musical direction. Thank you!!!

With great performers... the true pros, Dean Martin was more than generous with the limelight.

Mt. Theodore Alan And she brought much more class to the songs ‘You’re Just in Love’ and ‘Together’ than Jerry ever did when Dean had to sing those same songs with him!

The most "unnatural" natural voice in show business. It's brilliant, of course.

It IS almost like a satire in a movie or something, or an alternate universe with a Belting Broad, yet, she was real, and fabulous.

Sure, if we totally change the definition of beautiful. She looks decent, which is much better than what she usually looked like.

Mr. Miller you do not know what you write. Not just the voice, that you do not know why it is loud. Did you SEE her on stage in one of her shows? Mostly, why still now she is still voted #1 Diva of Broadway ‘s best years! Dean enjoys her to have her on his show!

Ethel Merman had a loud and brassy voice with many noticeable flaws, especially in the later years. Nevertheless, she was one of the greatest performers of the 20th century. I wish I had the opportunity to see her in a musical on Broadway.

I dont think she was ever interested in singing WITH other stars,,, more like just drowning them out . Not a generous performer , sorry Miss Merman

I was thinking the opposite because I was amazed the we could still hear Dean, and they sounded great together. Merman knew she was loud and joked about it, yet sang wonderfully in duets with many other singers.

You obviously haven't listened to the majority of her work. Did you even listen to this single clip? They did a great job of the Call Me Madam duet. Not a great review. Sorry Mr. Miller.
