Steve and Eydie were the greatest. As most know, Steve passed a couple of weeks ago (March 2024). There will never be a time theme where so many great ones were entertaining. We will miss them all...
What a moment for posterity. Thanks to technology, video, Internet, person who post this gem for us to enjoy. You know something, as soon as Eydie Gormé opens her mouth you can realize how great she was as a singer. One of the best, perhaps underestimated. I like Steve Lawrence, even though I think his voice or style of singing was a little "stiff", inflexible. Of course, Mr. Sinatra is the master in the best sense of the word. Nobody could reach that man. He was the best of them all. May they rest in peace.
They are having such a great time doing what they do best! Imagine having a job you love that millions appreciate across the globe. Pretty amazing. And I love all the up tempo songs in this medley. Seeing this introduced a lot of Mr Sinatra's songs that I never heard before. Really enjoying this!
They sang so amazingly well live, for so many years! I can't ever get enough of those perfect, brassy Eydie bell-tones...there will never be another like her.
I saw Steve in Edie in concert. Just incredible. Along with Sinatra this is quite a trio. You don’t hear quality voices like this on the radio anymore.
I seen all of them at The Garden during this World Tour that year, I'll never forget it, I have a load of pictures I took. I seen Sinatra two more times after this at Radio City Music Hall and I have all the ticket stubs, play-bills and souvenir books from those three shows framed and hanging in my bedroom still to this very day, strangely enough when my dog Zoey jumps on my bed she'll always stare at the picture of Sinatra on this tour's souvenir book cover. It was actually called "The Chivas Regal Diamond Jubilee Tour" and that framed picture is hanging right behind me as I'm writing this😊
They were such a great couple. There was something extra special to me about Steve. He also could be very funny. He had a darling personality and of course was a good singer.
Oh my goodness! I was lucky enough to have shared a few evenings listening to these masters of a genre that will never be topped! The memories are priceless and so very happy I came across this medley of true “diamonds.” ❤
What can you say that hasn't already been said...the weeks and months of standing ovations, accolades and awards. It is like watching Babe Ruth, Joe Louis, Michael Jordan, Michelangelo and Dean Martin all together. Proof that GOD exists...CREME DE LA CREME BEST OF THE BEST NEVER TO BE APPROACHED...TALENT FROM HEAVEN...GOD BLESS THEM FOR SHARING THEIR GIFT WITH THE WORLD...
Frank's daughter Tina wrote that when wife Barbara didn't overmedicate Frank, he was at the top of his game. I think that's the case here. Maybe she didn't go along.
She is ten times the woman and lady you ever talked to punk or punkett. Steve and I would take turns punching you out for disgracing this Angel Princess Eydie
I believe Eydie was on medication at that time which caused her temporary weight gain. If you look at all the videos after that time period you will see she was back to normal. I saw her in person a few years after this show and she looked beautiful and her voice was amazing! What a talent! There will never be anyone like her.
Rest in peace, Steve Lawrence! I hope your reunion with Eydie is marvelous.

Gorme a wildly under rated singer….
@@johnwhite2576 Perhaps underrated was the word I had in mind.

I got to see this show in Chicago. Unforgettable.
Congratulations, good for you. I attended Frank Sinatra’s concert in Barcelona in the eighties!! In spite of his age it was simply wonderful!
Me too . In Chicago. In about 1979. It was FABULOUS!!! INthink it was New YEARS Eve!!!
@@Jacquelyn-v6c I saw it in 1990 or 1991. It was Frank’s 75th birthday Tour.

Great memories of my folks and dear friends who were great fans of Frank and Steve and Eydie
How lucky we were to have them in our lives🥰🥰🥰
Thanks for posting! Do you have the portion of the concert (the beginning, I believe) featuring just Steve & Eydie?
Thank you for posting.Real professional entertainers!
🍉 Frank Sinatra was sure a big act in Las Vegas. And Steve and Eydie had a long and good marriage.

Wonderful! The excessive talent on that stage is a rarity! Thanks for sharing.
The greatest entertainer of all time.

Love they altogether ...Steve Lawrence's voice is very similar to the one of Frank's

All singers from that era were not just good vocaly but incredible performers, very authentic and expontaneous

Frank Sinatra el mas grande Cantante de la musica Popul
Can you post the opening with Steve and Eydie?
Sure, they’re singing great, but that’s nothing compared with hitting all those cues! Wow.
I agree they nailed each cue this was a great performance.
Lækker musik!
Ik zag ze in Antwerpen onvergetelijk

EYDIE’S WAIST LINE IS LIKE 50”
She is ten times the woman and lady you ever talked to punk or punkett.
Steve and I would take turns punching you out for disgracing this Angel Princess Eydie
What has that to do with anything.
OMG! EYDIE GOT SO BIG! YIKES! POOR THING! LIZA SINGS NEW YORK WAY BETTER!
