    I first found your office on Google but it did not give me a website. I'm glad I found it here on RUclips. You work with the newest technology that is super. Fantastic that you make RUclips videos about your work.

    Have complete horrible anxiety going to dentist. Was in between jobs working multiple parttime work during Covid. needed dentist visit for cleaning. Had No insurance so I booked a cleaning at my community college dental school. Over heard students talking about how bad my teeth were. It killed me. But I've been saving for veneers a year and a half. I'm ready. This was very informative.

    Your passion for dentistry is really nice to see. I love where I work and have an amazing team but I definitely wish our dentist had more passion for the work. He's a business man at heart and a dentist second. We focus everything on marketing, fancy office gadgets like big TV's, headphones, iPads, etc and the quality of work comes second. I often disagree with his choices for treating patients and I hate that feeling. It's always about production, doing the quickest/easiest work for the most amount of money.

    Hello dr great info on your RUclips channel! I want to ask couple questions. I have crowns which I am not happy with the color, do I need to change the all crown ? Why I can't put veneers over my crowns ?

    • @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield
      @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield  6 лет назад +1

      You will need to have the whole crown redone since you can't veneer a crown.

      I really do not like Zirconia at all. I plan on making a video of all of the reasons why. emax is auch better material.

    For patients with anxiety/ other issues, Are the patients completely knocked out & under anesthesia during that? Or are you just giving them nitrous instead? I had that today. It’s not scary at all, you just start to feel super relaxed, and your anxiety goes away eventually, and you’re all good at the end of the appointment. So now I get nitrous every time I go to the dentist. Lololol.

    Very informative doc. I just have a question because I might encounter patients who might ask these.. pls make a video about the differences among Ceramic/Porcelain, E-Max, and Zirconia. And which is most esthetic and which is the hardest. Coz I heard Zorconia is the hardest of the three and also I knew about them combining E-Max with Zirconi.. I’m kind of confused but I know the basics, thankfully I delivered during my last case. But Im hoping you grant this.

    • @ChrisDavis333
      @ChrisDavis333 3 года назад +1

      Zirconia is the hardest but not nearly as aesthetic, from the research I’ve done Zirconia is a good option for crowns on the back teeth. EMax is plenty hard, and by far the best looking and most natural.

    Dr.O I'm need all 10 of my teeth pulled and getting imediate dentures ,I don't have a lot of bone left so I wandering what advise you could give me, after getting imediate dentures and they heal real good do I also get permanent dentures afterwords?

    • @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield
      @InnovativeDentalofSpringfield  5 лет назад +1

      I would love to help you. It would require a 3d x-ray to determine the quality and quantity of bone. After that we would plan and place the implants and the necessary bone grafts. You would have your denture immediately attached to the implant and the palate would be removed from your old denture. Down the road, you would get a new denture. ;)

      Great when used in the proper situations. Definitely need to use the proper material and utilize teeth that still have good remaining tooth structure.

      I am in Toronto, I m doing 4 veneers for the front teeth. First off on Invisalign is about $4K for 6 months, then teeth cleaning, bleaching and lab models, $1K, and $4K for 4 veneers. With consultations etc, I would say about C$10K for 4 veneers with Invisalign in it.

      Yeah I was talking about specifically at Innovative Dental, I reached out to them and he got back to me with roughly 1500USD per tooth. Which is about what I expected here in the US, especially for such good quality. I’m going to Turkey next month to get CAD Assisted e.max laminate veneers, for 20 teeth I am paying about 5700 USD. I was surprised to find out they’re using the same CAD software and the same milling machines, I believe the milling machines are Sirona and the software is by CEREC, they even use the same materials IPS e.max by Ivoclar Vivadent. Not all places in Turkey have these same machines but I’ve done very thorough research because I want to know exactly what kind of materials and machines will be used to make my laminate veneers, I want as close to the same results as I would get at somewhere like ID. Finding the same milling machines, cad software, and materials kind of put me at ease a little bit. I know it won’t be quite as good but I’ve seen them do great work pretty consistently, and $5700 vs $30000 is a big enough savings for it to make sense to me personally. To each their own I suppose, if I had 30k to throw around in order to only travel 3-4 hours vs 15 hours I would definitely do it, but I don’t, so I will be traveling halfway around the world to get my teeth done and I’m going to do it happily and treat it as a Holliday.

      I did, I only got the top 10 veneers and 1 implant on the bottom that was a failed root canal. I believe I just have the abutment right now and when I go back they will fit the crown and that’s when I’ll get the bottom 10 veneers done. Overall it was a pretty good experience, but I also did a ton of research and knew exactly what machines and materials were going to be used, I was armed with the knowledge that I did not need crowns on my front teeth and I let them know I wanted laminate veneers not crowns. If you decide to go I highly recommend you stay longer than needed so nothing is being rushed like the day of your flight or anything, I’d say 8-10 days you would get done with a few days wiggle room where you probably just end up having the days for yourself but are still safe from any hiccups. I think I ended up at 3100 out the door for 10 EMax laminate veneers and 1 implant. Good luck, do your research!

      Most of the dentists here in America are against crowning the front teeth because the amount of tooth they have to destroy, that was my primary reason for wanting laminate veneers. I did get crowns on the premolars because I seen Nicki Minaj’s have that terrible line down the center of her tooth and it looked awful. The cost was the same between laminate and crowns and I got majority laminate veneers so I just said laminate veneers. If your teeth are not terribly damaged there’s no reason to destroy your natural teeth to crown them, especially on the front 6. I understand the appeal of wanting the crowns but just speaking to some highly respected cosmetic dentists in the U.S and hearing what they recommended for me specifically, it was laminate across the board. So that’s what I wanted. I had also seen a lot of people with a lot of sensitivity that got crowns on all their teeth and less so with the laminate, that also played a bit of a factor in my decision.

    So you guys skip the whole temporary veneer process where you wear the temps for 2-3 weeks?

    • @karenh2945
      @karenh2945 11 месяцев назад

      I still have one week of these temporaries, and it has been the most depressing feeling about how I look and feel, for 2 weeks so far. Besides the teeth looking bad, they somehow made my front tooth gumline a little pointed. I just want this to be over and it better look good because I never want to go back to the dentist again.
