It's always nice to see dads and sons working on cars I never had that chance my dad passed away in 1976 when I was 7 but I have been working on cars since 1983 it's in my blood iv built some great cars I continue to work on cars all my life and love it have a great day and always cherish the memories God bless
I had a lot of fun making this video with my dad, mom, and James. Without them this would not have been possible. I hope you all enjoy it. Im very sorry about the bugs singing in some of the clips and the weird blue later in the video. Thank you for watching.
My first f body was damn near identical to this...83 berlinetta, red with gold trim, t tops, red interior 305 and a stick. Even had those same American racing wheels with white letter tires. I threw in a pioneer head unit, a set of boom booms, chopped the muffler, and 16 year old me had a friggin blast with that car
The "Wheels" are dry rotted? You say you "don't think you have time to take the rims off and get some "Wheels" on it to replace the dry rotted "Wheels?" LOL. Just teargassing ya bro! I know videoing and talking to the Camera isn't easy. GREAT JOB!! Super Deal on a Classic car!!
Wow! I was wondering why this video had that weird sound on it like my speaker was making some noise or something. Then I realized it's the Cicadas they have out there!! They had a record number of them out this year so Millions of them in te trees all around their place! I think it is anyway. LOL.
FIRST , YES .. I Recommend RIPPING That WHOLE BUTCHERED " STOCK " Exhaust OFF ... And JUST SCRAP IT ALL . Then Start ALL OVER ... With ALL NEW EXHAUST From The ENGINE ON BACK . And I Would Put On The ENGINE At LEAST A GOOD SET Of " TRUE " HEADERS / One And A Half Inch Primary TUBE FULL LENGTH , LONG TUBE HEADERS FIRST. .. THEN ... FIT ON A 2 and A Half inch H - PIPE WITH TWO SMALL CATALYTIC CONVERTERS RIGHT AFTER THE HEADERS BACK FLANGE ENDS ... THEN CONNECT THAT H PIPE To EITHER 2 AND 3 / 4 QUARTER INCH OR 3 INCH INTERMEDIATE BACK PIPES THAT THEN CONNECT TO TWO SMALL 2 CHAMBER FLOWMASTER MUFFLERS ... WITH 3 INCH OR 3 AND A HALF INCH TAILPIPES THAT REACH TO JUST A HALF INCH PAST THE END EDGE OF THE REAR BUMPER.
I've been looking for something like this to work on with my 3 boys like my dad did with me but yeah, forget it. People think anything that says camaro or mustang is worth it weight in gold, even a rusted hulk is outrageous 😔

Great video man. Awesome car!
Really cool video guys...thanks
Great job. Could be a nice resto project.
I helped you out with some info.. The Blue hot rod is a 1937 Ford Custom Convertible. It reminds me of the cars that ZZ top had in their music videos.
ZZ Top had a 1934 Ford.
That is an odd radiator where the opening is in the middle it usually on the end?

Those hatch struts are only about 20 bucks on Amazon.
What happen to the international swap? Part 2?
On its way. All parts were ordered. New frames shortened and painted. Expect the video end of next week.
