I can never get over how odd it seems to see Vanian on Good Morning Britain.

It's always funny, when people do an interview with someone and they only know half about what that person is doing?(Barry DID have a video years before others!) And here in the interview Barry told he already did photography for 7 or 8 years!Some interviewers!
The interview was boring anyway,could see that on Barry's& Dave 's face.Had to laugh when they started about Barry's photography...his whole face lightened up with a great smile...as if somebody woke him up! Couldn't let it ha Barry?LoL

Awww, 4:32 is really sad. Dave was trying to joke about smoking cigars and they just ignored him. They're practically ignoring him.
Pretty standard treatment (of punks) by the media in the 80’s. They still looked at punk (and all it’s various offshoots) as a joke. They still felt threatened by the changes it was bringing to pop culture, and then here they’ve got the singer from the band that kind of started it all in the UK. However Dave’s a cool drink of water. A real class act, and he maintains his composure throughout this. I think Dave was probably just stoked to be there with Barry.

I think it’s actually even worse in the UK.
Those two were taking the piss. WTF was that at 2:16? Look closely, Anne is opening the interview looking at Dave and suddenly dude cuts her off and starts talking to Barry. And they also changed positions on the sofa. During the break, (Anne to Nick) 'I don't want to sit next to the vampire anymore. Ya mind changing places on the couch?' So, did anyone ever name their band 'Petite Horses' or was that just teasing us?

Dave Vanian looks like Fenella Fielding in "Carry on Screaming" LOL. But he is definitely a bloody good singer, always has been. Even in fairly mundane Damned songs, Vanian carries them off.
Nick asked Jim if he'd met Barry Ryan and Dave and Jim said yeah, then Nick said 'Oh Well forget it then' and they all larfed :)
