I’m 44 and learning as my kids learn. There is no skate community where we live but there is RUclips. I saw killer b on a recent Andy video for autism surf day. I will look for the video you mentioned. I bought the flight deck version.
Thank you for the review! I have no knowledge or know anything about skateboards, but I'm learning now since I started riding a skateboard at the age of 53 for the last few months. Yes you heard right! I been riding and also a few bike guys got on boards too! Boarding helps me get a good warm up before I get on my bmx bike. My bike riding also has improved since riding a skateboard. I'm in the market for a board since the board I am using is from a kid that was getting rid of the old one for a new one. I took it home and used parts from another board to make it complete. I'll see you and your son sometime at Cunningham Action Sports Park. Old School Joe!
Always great to see you at Lake Cunningham! Let m e know if you need any parts. We have a ton of spares to get you set up on the right sized board and parts to ride that park.
Great review! I'm gonna try one...I have two pretty worn-down Flight versions at the moment. And problems with ankles at times (been doing sweepers and boneless ones - the landing impact hurts the ankles). I have tried all kinds of other decks but seem to always get back to the Heron shape. Long wheelbase and those distinguishable "pockets" do it for me (I am not so much into those "freestyle" aspects of the deck, although I realize those can help at certain tricks). Also, the new shape is just too short for me.
Ps. Another middle-age skate dad here...started at 43 (pretty much from the scratch...) when my daughter wanted to give skateboarding a try. (I am now 49)
Hey! Thanks for checking out the video! Glad to know that I'm not the only one that experienced ankle issues. I haven't had a chance to try out the new egg shape, but at 32.23", it is also too short for me. It might actually be a good size for our kids.
@@skating4satori672 yes, that's a good point. Not the overall lenght (as many old school decks are short) but the wheelbase...I've noticed 14.75" wb is still ok but 14.5" and under just feel "twitchy".
Sweet video. I want to start pushing again this spring after never have much success on a board. Hope you keep making more vids.

Thank you for checking out the video. Enjoy riding with your kids and have fun on the AA Flight Deck!
Smooth carves
Man those parks look so fun. Closest park to me is an hour, and there's another that's about an hour and a half.
Thanks for checking out the vid! We are very lucky and blessed to have some very nice parks within an half an hour to an hour's drive where we live.
