If I’m skating park I’ll run both bones soft bushings w my aces, sometimes I like to skate from point A to B (or skate street) when I do that I switch to both bones medium . They’re perfect. I skate ace AF1 66s

Thank you so much for sharing this. I have many things in common and have been debating on whether or not to try learning to ride a cruiser just so i can keep up with my son and share in his hobby. The fear of injuring is so scary when you are over 40 and a lot depends on you being healthy. In my youth there was no outlet for learning to skateboard nor did i know any kids who knew how. But i was always a big fan of the sport since i see the movie gleaming the cube in the 80s

One of the best shapes. When carving and pumping. . have your back foot in the pocket of the tail. Not so much on the tip unless youre ollieing. But yeah man like right behind the bolts. Kill it

So I always rode an 8 inch Powell board. Once I got the Andy, I really wanted to get the 8.75 Mini Logo trucks, but all the shop had was the 9 inch Ace's. The Ace's are very squirrelly, and that is coming from someone who rides loose trucks. I think the mini logos are better. They're lower, lighter, and turn very well.

Rad setup, not to mention one of the best bands of all time playing throughout. I love setting up boards. I can't think of another thing we put so much thought into just to destroy it and still love it when it is beat up as much as we did when it was fresh. I only started at the age of 44 and am still a beginner, but I'm leaning towards 58mm wheels for this board (not bought yet) after having had very good experiences with 56mm on my 8.25". So I was looking for suitable trucks for 58mm wheels. I'll take a closer look at your recommendation with the Independent 149S.

That's the first board I got in 2019 when I got released from the pen after 6 years. I got the complete. I don't know how he skates that board and hits handrails.Crazy!!!

So encouraging. I watched ur vids last year, then fell and tore my rotator cuff. I’m 50 now, but I’ve been back at it and just learned a couple of weeks ago for the first time how to drop in. Dropped in at 4’ and now 5’. I don’t know what to do when I get to the other side yet, but I’m getting there😂
