Justin's Journey | "Rad Thadd" Custom Handmade Skateboard Board Build

Putting together JMAN"s 2024 custom handmade skateboard by "Rad Thadd" aka Skate Yoda.
This was an XMAS gift from Skate Yoda who has been a great mentor, support, teacher and friend to JMAN, JDAD & JMOM.
He made a custom shape based on the Antihero Classic Eagle 8.62" Team Deck. On this board, the wheelbase is customizable from 14.625" to 14.75"
JMAN's Skateboard Set Up:
Deck - Custom Deck by "Rad Thadd" (8.62"x 32.5", 14.625" to 14.75" wheelbase)
Trucks - Independent 149 Hollows
Bushings - Bones Medium
Bearings - Switch Skate Supply Ceramic
Hardware - Shake Junt
Grip - Mob Grip
Wheels - Bones 58mm SFP P5 Shape.

Rad setup, not to mention one of the best bands of all time playing throughout.
I love setting up boards. I can't think of another thing we put so much thought into just to destroy it and still love it when it is beat up as much as we did when it was fresh. I feel there is more to be said about that, not sure what it is.

Not to get too cerebral, but the skateboard used to be a living maple tree. There is a real and organic connecting between rider and board. Arguably, you could apply Swiss Philosopher, Martin Buber's principle of "I-Thou" vs. "I-It"

Don't remember exactly which shop, but got them several years ago and was waiting for the right board to put them on.
