You made quick work of it, but I am sure you made it look a lot easier than it really was. On the short term, the machine looks like it functioned better than I expected it would, as it looks a bit lite weight. However, if you plan on investing in it, you may want to read up and see if there are any reviews about the frame and any cracks that may form in the deck or at seams in the deck or frame after long term use. That is a problem I have experienced with tractor bush hogs, and it is annoying to say the least. But overall, great job. Impressive.

In Texas they rent for 500.00 a week. If you use it weekly you can purchase one for about 3k.
How thick were your bushes less than a quarter thick ....
Equally important how much gas did you use 3 gallons 2 or 1 to the job to be complet.

Well, depends on how many clearing jobs you have. One offs, rent. If your doing multiple per month, then buy might make since.
