Buy me a coffee if you enjoyed this video and want to help support the channel 🙂: www.buymeacoff...
Nice job clearing up that overgrowth. I was surprised about how big a sapling the Brush Mower would take down!
You and me both!
Keep going with your videos, you can easily be the next Andrew Camarata
I wish lol
Hey bud, I seen a comment that you had put on one of my videos but youtube have either removed it or marked as spam. So I you don't mind I'll comment on yours. Thank you for watching my videos, I appreciate it. I already have been watching your videos when you have uploaded anything. I can't believe how similar tour mini ex looks to mine. Again, thank you for watching and ill continue to watch your channel too. Have a good day buddy.
hey nick yes I’ve been watching your channel good work!
That's better than tge dr filed and brush mower i use to see on TV as a kid i wanted one so bad
Yea I saw the dr this one is built much better
Great job Darrell! You camera work is first class! Keep em coming and the subscribers will follow. I've never seen one of those brush mowers. I just stick our horses on stuff like that and they clear it 🙂
THANKS DAVE I REALLY APPRECIATE IT!!
Thanks for checking out my channel.
I enjoyed your video, I like the selection of music with the sped up video.
Although, I would rather brush cut with my Skid steer cutter, lol.
Take care friend 👍🇺🇸
THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR WATCHING!!
Dang ole darnell kitchens gettin down with that crunk grass cuttin music
I should have called u to help me!
Thanks for this video. I just bought some land that needs clearing of underbrush. I think I'll rent one of these and see what I can do vs. paying someone $6k to do it for me.
Your very welcome another option would be to buy a tractor and a bush hog which u can get fairly cheap. I can’t remember how much I paid to rent this but it is a lot of manual labor. Thanks for watching 😊
Hi Darryl. Good job! Is this a field you considered using your brush hog on the Ford 3000? Just wondering if it's terrain or access that decided it. I realize now maybe you didn't have the Ford/brush hog setup yet....
thank u so much!! I bought the tractor afterwards
A real job of big saplings that I can review on the Billy goat before I rent at Home Depot .
it did pretty good I was happy with it
Very cool. About how much acreage did you cover with the walk behind and in how much time? Thinking about renting the exact same machine for some dense Yaupon undergrowth.
I’m not sure but I can tell you it is a really tough mower, it’s gets the job done but it’s a workout
I can tell you it took me over 2 hours to cover not much more than a quarter acre but it was brutal stuff just like he is cutting here on a very steep hill. To steep for the machine to even climb in a lot of parts. It wore me out so bad I had to stop. During the process I decided in my mind this will never happen again cause I’m buying a 4X4 tractor. It was so brutal on that hill.
Well, this does it. Now I have to try it. Wish me luck.
Haha awesome!
You need to get you a some what small brush hog for you skidsteer
Yea I got one for my tractor and also now a Steiner 430 so I can cut it easy now
Used this model to cut my property and I have a hill that’s very steep even to walk up. This thing was absolutely brutal to handle on the side of a hill. Would have been so much easier if each handle controlled each wheel individually instead of just forward and reverse. This baby will cut right through anything.
that’s awesome thanks for sharing!!
Awesome video, hard to find footage of people hitting tall saplings with such a brush mower. The meadow looks awesome, great job!
Thank u so much!! It was a lot of work! But now I have a tractor brush mower 😊😊
@@TheHomePros6221 bet that's nice, I rented a billy goat like the one you had and it was just the trick, only found one wasp nest!
@@fishinforfun8781 man that’s great!! It’s actually a pretty powerful machine
That looks a lot better, man you're filming style is so good, wish i had a drone, damn things r so expensive. Is it hard to push that mower through the brush? I was thinking maybe buying something like that or just go for the skid-steer brush mower? Glad to see the excavator also working nicely there, very useful machine.
Thanks for the awesome comment man! U don’t nessisary need a drone I like your videos, the only thing I do in mine is to try and cut out the boring parts and speed up other boring parts, I do the least amout talking as possible and throw in some music on the sped up sections. I paid like 65$ for some editing software it’s like studio
Skid steer mower is the way to go this thing is self propelled but it’s heavy to turn and it is a huge workout esp for your hands!
Why are some people always so eager to push skid steers when you can put a bush hog on any kind of wheeled tractor, even excavators. And skid steers are a lot more likely to tear up the ground. Skid steers are very useful in construction but not necessarily true in groundskeeping.
Just asking.
@@TheHomePros6221 it is true that hand operated machinery can be hard on the hands. I owned a Howard Gem 20-in that I ran during the Summers for several years and got carpal tunnel in both hands that I still have.
Those Howard Hems are the best walk behind rototiller / two Wheel tracks ever made in the world, but they still vibrated. Those things weighed over 600 lb and more. But they far out worked and outperformed every other walk behind tiller in the world.
Videos on RUclips. And most of the people in those videos don't even use them right.
@@TF856 i maily prefer skidsteers because how good the maneuverability is. That is true that they do mess the ground up by a fair bit though.
Good video! Personally I would have preferred more time lapse when you used the excavator and thumb to clear up brush and logs.
I always love a good time lapse cause things can get boring
The GXV engines are the “pro” version isn’t it?
Yes and the gvx or gvc or somthing like that are the homeowner grade engines
@@TheHomePros6221 GCV perhaps?
Put a mulcher head on the excavator to do all of that.
now that’s a great idea… if I only had a bigger machine and more money lol.. maybe one day
