Guy: "I found a mysterious figure in my world! And I got a message from some guy named Herobrine... I think they're the same!" People: "Yeah right, prove it." Guy: *Shows image* "You should try to *disprove* it!" 10 years later: "We found the seed to the original Herobrine world!
I would love if it was revealed one day that Herobrine was indeed added by Mojang after the story, only generating at some astronomical interval. Much like how people think the Beatles were intentionally screwing with people, making references with Paul's "death."

Then there was this creeper that wouldn’t die no matter how many times I hit it. I was convinced it was herobrine that shape shifted. This was when herobrine was very popular. Ooooh the memories
I have a similar story; I was watching my friend play the game on Pocket Edition, when he came across a forest with the 2nd and 3rd log from every tree missing. He had never been to that forest, and even if he did and forgot about it, he didn’t farm wood like that (because who does that). It was weird.

At least some kind of herobrine has existed. I was playing minecraft Iphone edition a few years ago and dug into a mountain and found a steve model just standing in the wall. Didnt move, wasnt affected by gravity. Couldnt interact with it. I cant remember if it had white eyes or regular ones.
I was 9 when I first heard about Herobrine. 9 years later I'm still just as obsessed about him. He was the first creepypasta story I heard and he's the reason why I love horror and writing horror so much. I still make Herobrine shrines in my Minecraft worlds. Gives me some good nostolgia.
I had one weird encounter with what I though was a Herobrine's actions. I found several, usually cobblestone, structures and some mining tunnels in my singleplayer world. After some (scared) searching around, I discovered (or figured out) that those were my safehouses of very old, deleted world.
Yes ive heard the code of a deleted realm lingers and can mix with the new creation. I honestly did have something weird though and im not claiming its Herobrine as it doesnt meet all the classic telltale signs but i honestly do wonder. In my case ive had a player character sprite dressed in full leather armor shoot me with a bow in my hardcore realm day 1 during daylight up on the plains. This being hardcore i reacted or semi panicked and when i realised no mob should look like that gathered myself to check it out only to find nothing.
ive hade an experince like this as well. im not entirely sure what happned, but most likely it was cross world generation. i was looking for an ocean monument one day when there was just this house sespended one block over the water. it was just sitting there, empty. no walls or beds or chests on the inside. just a house floating over the ocean.
Herobrine, that name used to shake me to the core. I remember years ago on a survival world, it was foggy and night had just fallen. As I quickly made my way home i saw a figure that looked like the default skin and my heart stopped. I soon realized it was just a zombie with its back to me, but i was terrified.
I was already 20 and in college when Minecraft originally launched so seeing everyone on the internet talk about herobrine was like watching the playground rumors of the 90s happen all over again for a new generation. It was fun to see kids be fascinated by a game in a way I haven’t seen since I was a kid.
@@pixeltochi4961 we've got these seeds already :p 1.13 coords were found by the texture rotations of the sand in the ground. Interestingly, they were using 1.12 algorithm for the rotations instead of the 1.13 algorithm, so we wasted a bit of time trying to figure it out.
Honestly, I believe that screenshot was real. But I don’t believe herobrine is a true entity - it could be a hacker. Especially since that profile posted the word ‘stop’.

Fun fact, Herobrine has actually existed in Minecraft's code, in a way. Not the character or the weird things, but when you got killed by an arrow shooting dispenser, it showed the message "Player was shot by Herobrine."
Maybe Herobrine created the warden, like some sort of Golem... Think about it, the villagers have the Iron Golem, the Pilligers have the bull-like Gollem and Herobrine created the Warden to be his Golem...

When I started playing my friend told me that Herobrine was a player just like us, who dug straight down and died in lava SO OFTEN that he lost his worlds and the ability to make new ones. To be able to play the game again, he’d come into others worlds and run off when seen, trying not to get caught. However, everyone kept trying to remove him, and he had enough. I was already 20 and in college when Minecraft originally launched so seeing everyone on the internet talk about herobrine was like watching the playground rumors of the 90s happen all over again for a new generation. It was fun to see kids be fascinated by a game in a way I haven’t seen since I was a kid.

We went from finding the resource pack png and the title screen, to finding the place of a creepypasta.
Pewdipie seed > pack.png seed > panorama 1.12 seed > skull painting seed > herobrine seed.
Natural progression. I have enjoyed watching this escalate to more and more challenging finds.

1.13 coords were found by the texture rotations of the sand in the ground. Interestingly, they were using 1.12 algorithm for the rotations instead of the 1.13 algorithm, so we wasted a bit of time trying to figure it out.

Fun fact, Herobrine has actually existed in Minecraft's code, in a way. Not the character or the weird things, but when you got killed by an arrow shooting dispenser, it showed the message "Player was shot by Herobrine."

That fog effect is cool, they should add it as a weather effect in the actual version of the game.
You can do it yourself by maximising the fog effect and turning off the particlea during a thunderstorm

When I started playing my friend told me that Herobrine was a player just like us, who dug straight down and died in lava SO OFTEN that he lost his worlds and the ability to make new ones. To be able to play the game again, he’d come into others worlds and run off when seen, trying not to get caught. However, everyone kept trying to remove him, and he had enough. So he took out his anger on the players and their worlds, giving glitches, odd features, and much, much, more things. Many of them were worse.
